Rocky's comes in with the KO! Stop wasting your $ at the big box stores. Buy in bulk from Rocky's. They know what's up. I snagged me a cubic yard of garden soil to fill two garden boxes. Last year, I went to Home D and wasted three times the amount of money on junk soil. I had a terrible 2020 growing season. Rocky's estimate on the quantity was the spot on amount I needed. I was expecting to go back for another scoop but it wasn't necessary. I got just the right amount I needed. So what are you waiting for? Save some money so you can take out yo honey! Thanks Rock! PS: Unless you like wasting money, stop buying that trash munch at big box stores. Especially the ones with dyes. Also, from what I understand, they attract bugs not repel them (you can fact check me on that). They don't last and they only fade. They only look good for the first month. Rocky's Rocks!!! Luckily the great folks at Metro Maples pointed us to Rocky's when we inquired about where to get great rocks for our garden. Rocky's is a " candy store" of great rocks. Mike was so helpful, even though we were definitely NOT the biggest customers of the day. He was helpful and informative. We found the most beautiful rocks covered in moss and lichen, for our Japanese style garden. Prices were extremely reasonable. They also have great yard art, statuary, etc. More fun than a box of rocks. read more

Never in a million year would I expect you to have talked to one of your customers the way that you spoke to us this morning! You definitely caught me by surprise after I have done business with you for several years! Yes, I did go into your yard before 7:30 am, however I did not bug you for any reason because I did notice there were 3 trucks waiting to be unloaded, so I started walking around looking for the material I needed, so that when you did finish unloading, it would be a quick transaction. Needed a couple of boulders. They were pointed out to me down the hill. Drove down a driveway to check them out. Got chewed out because I drove instead of walking. Late, dishonest, and rude-no way to run a business. Expected a delivery at 8am. Had to call at 9:30 and was told the owner would now bring my delivery. I got the distinct impression that if I had not called that no one would have shown up. Owner shows up at 9:50 and I told him I expected a little price break because they were 2 hours late and I had to cancel appointments. He first claimed he wasn't late. I told him that the delivery was scheduled for 8am and suddenly he said that a delivery driver didn't show up and that he would just take the delivery back. No apologies, no concession, just a grumpy rude person. Lots of other rock and gravel companies around--do yourself a favor and do business with anyone except for this company. read more

Fire pit rock was left off my delivery. Once I realized it I called to see if the oversight could be handled in a professional manner. I was even going to place a new order and pay another delivery fee so they wouldn't have to pay for the time and gas to bring me the rock even if it was their mistake. Randy yelled at me over the phone and talked over me so I couldn't explain the situation. I was shocked how defensive he was and how unwilling he was to listen to me. He basically called me a liar and he was unwilling to help me at all. I gave him time to cool off and I emailed my issue to the sales email and sent pictures of everything that was delivered but I have not received a response from my email. Loved the customer service when I ordered my supplies but very disappointed with the reaction when I pointed out the mistake. I was told they never make mistakes. read more

Great customer service here, very helpful with bringing me a pallet to fill and moving it around the yard. I bought about 20 square feet of flagstone to make myself a little paved area in my garden for a FRACTION of what it would have cost at Lowes or Home Depot. I also got some pretty tumbled cobblestones to use as planter edging, couldn't even find anything like them at the other stores. They helped me load it into my trunk, couldn't be nicer. read more
