First visit was Q1 2024 for a pickup load of "hot" mushroom compost, the second visist was Q4 2024 for a pickup load again of Promix organic mushroom compost for $70 + tax. Each time the guy at the counter was cool, just doing his job kind of way. That good. He told me to follow this guy on the tractor with the loader. I knew this would be janky because I am a terrible driver and non understanding of such directions. The young fella on the tractor made allowances for me, I could tell he knew I was gonna make a wrong turn or some crazy move. His eyes told me "crazy woman driver" and I was just fine with that. He hadn't seen me yet with a shopping cart at Walmart attempting to manuever through the aisles. 12 year old grandson gave me a few directions and it all came out just fine. This Promix Mushroom compost is not recommended to go direct on the garden / flower beds as it needs to cook a bit longer. I add it as a topping mix over the winter to break down on top of fallow beds and/or to mix into the compost heaps to help the fermentation. It works.

He failed to properly install certain elements that were specified like weed prevention matting; thus we had tons of weeds come thru our beds. His response was to start spraying and to hire his company to take care of it - clearly a win for his company. He refused to go back and install what was specified. For all of our flower beds, we had other guys go back and install the matting. We also had to use our own maintenance team to clean up the area. Overall, a very poor experience.

You know, I've shopped at a HomeGoods or two (or ten), and this one is fairly easy to shop. While…read morewe all know the drill at these stores (the stock is never the same) that's one of the things I like about it. At the same time, it can be a bit of a challenge. At least at this location, there aren't a million things cluttering the aisles so badly that you can't even walk through. The staff on the floor is always busy merchandising, but they will stop to help if you ask. The lines can get crazy, but they call in all the cashiers and usually get through the rush in a reasonable amount of time (not during the holidays, when it's naturally a little busier). The cashiers are friendly and efficient and this is one of my favorite place to shop for home decor and other things that I don't need. ;)

Went in this evening for early holiday shopping and walk into a very packed store...people…read moreeverywhere. I'm not complaining about the people...I'm complaining about the stocking going on while the store is packed and those huge product bins in almost every aisle and path. Seems with the amount of Saturday business and even the registers being backed up to the furniture section, you can get the stock bins out of the way and to the back staging area. Clear the aisles for that amount of people WITH carts and children.
