That same area is surrounded by wind chimes and other lawn decorations. They have a lot of greenhouses, several were empty when we went in mid summer, the main season is in spring, we knew it would be a bit empty due to the late season and the extreme heat, but we stopped to familiarize ourselves it. We didn't venture too far into the back area, there are a lot of bushes and trees towards the back past the greenhouses. Several trees up front, they have them all around the parameter it seemed. Staff was super nice, there were quit a few of them seeking shelter in the shade of the buildings roof extensions. That same are has a water feature with a waterfall.

Now, with that being said, the lady who was working was very dry and didn't seem interested in helping us or didn't provide answers to our questions. I felt this way inside the store (and kept my thoughts to myself). When we left my son mentioned that he wanted to ask if they were hiring but he didn't think the lady felt like talking today, lol. Last year, I went to Home D and wasted three times the amount of money on junk soil. I had a terrible 2020 growing season. Rocky's estimate on the quantity was the spot on amount I needed. I was expecting to go back for another scoop but it wasn't necessary. I got just the right amount I needed. So what are you waiting for? Save some money so you can take out yo honey! Thanks Rock! PS: Unless you like wasting money, stop buying that trash munch at big box stores. Especially the ones with dyes. Also, from what I understand, they attract bugs not repel them (you can fact check me on that). They don't last and they only fade. They only look good for the first month. Use Austin cedar mulch from Rocky's.

In my opinion, this business was much better before they moved to the new location. We used to buy…read moretons of plants and décor here, and one of the best parts was talking with the older lady who really knew her plants and trees. Her knowledge and the friendly, small-town feel always kept us coming back, and the prices were fair. Now, with the new location, it feels more like a corporate operation. The small-town charm is gone, and so are the reasonable prices. Everything seems way overpriced, to the point where it feels like my wallet is being taken advantage of. I now find myself shopping at other nurseries where I can get a better deal and still receive good service. It's sad to see a local business that built a loyal following in town lose its character and affordability. Unfortunately, it feels like greed got the best of what once was a great place to shop.

Arlington Grass is one of those places I remember being on my commute to wherever for as long as I…read morecan remember. It's still there. I've never done any business with these guys that wasn't sod, so I can't really speak to installation services or delivery. What I do know is that I've been up there to pick up sod since I was a little kid getting wrangled into volunteer yardwork. Now that I'm a "grown man", I'm still getting my sod from there. It's always been good looking sod and if there's not good sod to have, they don't have it. There's a lot of places that load up on sod and let it sit until it's dry, moldy, and mostly dead. I've never seen that at Arlington Grass. Not much to say about customer service. It's straight forward. I back my truck (or car sometimes when I'm not thinking...) up to a pallet, pay, and they load my sod. Sometimes I help. Sometimes I don't. They're friendly. I'm friendly. Done deal. What else is there?

Called an order in on Thursday for 1/2 pallet of Bermuda. The guy tells me " no problem ill put you…read moredown for that". I called Saturday morning around 8 to double check that the grass would be ready. Guy says " I don't have an order for you". This is the second time they have done this! I then asked for them to put me down for a half pallet of bermuda. They guy say " sure, I'll put you down". As the day goes on, they started calling me around 3 pm make sure I was still coming. Then, they called me at 3:30pm stating " we leave at 4 so you need to be here before that". I got there and find my half pallet of Bermuda is dying and all brown. I told them I wouldn't accept that pallet and I can come back when they have something else. The jerk that works there says : "don't order grass if you're not going to buy it" . WARNING: the kids that run the place are incompetent and rude . They will sell shotty grass and want to argue when you don't buy it. I have included a picture of the grass they tried to sell me.
