do not come here!! the sheets are dirty, it looks like they do not wash them. showers are clogged, they say they already used drano when there is clearly hair clogging it. they take towels and do not replace them. floors are filthy. rooms stink really bad. a/c unit is super dirty. they tell you when you check in that room service is not done every day, you have to ask a day in advance. there are literally stains all over the room. walls, floors & ceilings! they do not offer breakfast, only coffee. after reading the reviews, they've had the exact same issues dating back as far as 8 years ago. you would think they would change things up as a business if you keep receiving the exact same feed back from dozens of customers. read more

Bait and switch. You rent a room and they demand more. I had to change hotels. They want a deposit that is not listed in my agreement with Travelocity which says a maximum of 20 dollars. They demanded 60 which I refused to pay. After calling Travelocity they set them straight. They then hung up and said they had no rooms available due to maintenance. They were checking me into a room right up until I refused to pay the extra fee demanded so I had to leave because I wouldn't pay a charge that was illegal bad based on my contract. Total bait and switch. Beware and don't go. Also they wouldn't put the illegal charge in my card. It had to be cash. read more

They don't vacuum or sweep the floors, don't change the linens, or give you towels until into the evening. The shower leaks no matter what I try to do. Which causes huge puddles in the bathroom. The key has to keep being redone. I've told them repeatedly my issues and the front door girls are pleasant but it's obvious shes used to these calls. Because she says there's nothing she can do. Could not give it any lower of a rating!!!! One star was WAY to generous. This place is gross, rooms smell horrible , dead and alive bugs crawling around. Towels are old and dingy. I unfortunately have to stay here due to my work but I have honestly slept in my car a few nights and was more comfortable. Pool noise all night long. I called down to complain and they told me that there is no curfew for the pool and they would do nothing for me to have the noise makers quite down, even just a little. I eventually called the Colton police department and they are now on their way over. What a great waist of these wonderful officers doing the job of this hotel's management, pretty sad!!!!! Was put up here for a training course. Given a choice you don't want to stay here! - no plug in tub, told to stuff a face cloth in the hole. - floors disgusting. Every time I showered my feet were black just walking to the bathroom. Never cleaned in my 3 days by housekeeping. - bed never made by housekeeping. - trash or at least one can not emptied once during stay. - tv didn't work. Unable to change channels. Staff changed remote several times but still didn't work. Told not to turn off as would need reset, reset to not working?! How do you sleep with tv on? - staff smoked regularly in common/guest areas. - common areas not cleaned, the same piece of trash was in passage after my 3 days and no idea how long it was there before or after. - sofa stained. - had to get new key every day. - understand not their fault (covid 19), but no pool, spa, breakfast,coffee/tea available. The bed did not have any blankets. It had sheets and a very thin, synthetic bedspread only. I called the front desk to request a blanket and the night clerk had to check. She called back about 15 minutes later to let me know they did not have any blankets and she was not allowed to leave the front desk area to look elsewhere. The room had one towel and one bath mat, both very cheap and rough. We got by with those for the evening but the next morning I asked for some extra towels. I was told they didn't have any, all they had was more bath mats. I took a bath mat; my wife reused the towel she used the night before. The daytime staff were nice enough but the desk clerk seemed to be performing the job of at least four people: she was fielding calls, leaving the front desk to handle something, trying to check people in and out and handle guest requests at the same time by herself. The owners of this place obviously don't care whatsoever about their employees or their guests. The room was clean and there was good water pressure. The water temperature didn't fluctuate and I had no issues with the other guests. These are about the only positive things I can say about this place. I've never heard of a hotel/motel that doesn't have blankets or towels. Oh and the TV was on when we entered the room, which was weird. I've had better experiences at Motel 6, Super 8, any old low budget motel you can name, and I can go with the flow in a funky place if that's what's up. This place is just bad. read more

So if I could give a negative star I would. I have stayed here before and received great service until this past weekend. I got a room it was busy and I get that but apparently my room was not a priority. I checked in dropped off my stuff and proceeded to have a dinner date and shopping for mother's day and my boyfriend birthday. After being gone for hours. I returned to the room and found I didn't have towels and from there it went wrong real quick. I Accidentally pulled the sheet off of the bed to find a disgusting mattress. It was so disgusting that I started to examine the room closer to find hair all over the place. I complained to the office and they told me that I should have complained earlier. I explained to the rude staff that I was not there. I had to call the police to be a witness. They even tired to say that I was going to be charged a cleaning fee umm no one cleaned the damn room to start with. When we checked in there was a random Male loitering in and around the check in office. Staff didn't even have him leave. We arrived after 5 pm, the room we were given had used soap and shampoo from the prior visitors and towels had not been replenished. When we turned down the bed, there were crumbs in the bed. The outside looks nice and clean, but as soon as you get in the room yuck. The mattress is covered in a tissue wrap I guess so you can't check for stains or bugs. The towels are very old and stained. The tub looks like it had just been wiped down but never scrubbed. And the walls ewwww there are splatters everywhere and the night stands had some gross stuff on them, I kept saying in my head please be splattered old ice cream ewwww. Pass this place it is gross, when I went to complain and show the receptionist the pictures I took a he could care less. Came here base on the pictures and the location was close to our church. Base on what I saw this place is nothing close to the photos. First off, floor was not vacuumed at all. Came to the bed and saw chips, hair and our bed was sunk in on one side. There was someone else card on the ground. Dust left on the night stand on the bed frame and on the counter. People up walking around at 11:30 pm, saw hooker and someone working on their car. Overall wanted to check out as soon as I came into the room but since it was midnight and I'm checking out at 8am. Overall do not come here unless your desperate and only last place in Colton you can go to for a room. Make sure to lock your doors on your car and keep one eye open. read more

Skanky. Avoid. There is a stain on the carpet that seems to be leftover from a murder. The paint is chipping, furnishings are worn, and the floor looks barely vacuumed and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. I tried to get an extra pillow from the front desk but apparently there are no extras in the entire hotel. Guy at the front desk seems nice though. The hot tub and pool are closed, really wish info like that was posted on their website. Traveling with kids so no pool=grouchy, bored kids. Little update- breakfast was pretty ok. I will give this place negative stars. I know that it is use for a trucking school but the place nasty. If you look further on this site you will see from one month ago someone took pictures of the place having bedbugs. I check the bedbug Registry and indeed they have been reported for having bedbugs. If you don't want bedbugs at your house I would not stay. The front lobby smells like urine. The room smelled like marijuana and smoke. Worth it for the money. My room had a small sofa and coffee table, not to mention a nice tv. No bed bugs. Clean bed, not exactly my idea of comfortable but it did the job. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Bedding was not washed and there were fresh cigarette burns all over the sheets and top blanket. The floor was obviously not vacuumed after the prior visitors as there were crumbs and loose change everywhere, and the bathroom floor was weirdly sticky. The toilet was used and not flushed () and when I tried to give them a chance to make it right and switch my room, the second room had the same exact issues (including the toilet not being flushed!!). Spent the New Years here and was very pleased. Checked in without any issues staff is very polite and attentive. Informed us about the breakfast and local places to grab a bite to eat. Room was very clean, king size, spacious. Pillows and bed were comfy. Bathrooms were clean. Hot water in the cold was excellent. Called down for extra towels and they came on up without any hesitation. Overall enjoyed my stay with my husband, we will be back soon. read more

This place kinda sucks. It's convenient and close to the National orange show events center, but wow it really sucked. When I first got into the room, it smelled weird. Then when I went to take a shower I realized the towel holder thing was broken. That kinda sucked. But then I went to put my water in the fridge. To ya know, keep my water cold. What do I find? The counters inside the fridge is extremely wet. Atleast an inch of water on each counter. AND THE FRIDGE WASN'T EVEN PLUGGED IN! The carpet under the fridge was also wet. That's probably where the stank came from, the wet, moldy carpet. And on top of that, they came knocking on my door like 5 times a day asking if I need anything. No I don't! Please just let me sleep. if i need anything I'll come to the front desk. I stayed here because I was working at the NOS center, Im working until 5 am! I'm super tired after coming back, all I wanted to do was sleep... so I asked for a late check out. When I called the front desk they kept giving me attitude. I called 6 times before someone answered. "The latest we can do is 30 minutes" okay whatever I'll take it. And they knocked on my door TWICE! 30 minutes before my check out, and 15 minutes before my check out. Gosh literally ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS SLEEP!!! I hate how they kept bothering me. So after check out, I had to drive home 3 hours away. I swear if it wasn't for coffee, I would have to take a nap in my car in the hotel parking lot. Horrible staff, smelly room, and not accommodating to professional business trips. Next time I'll spend an extra 20 bucks to stay somewhere nicer. Lesson learned! read more

You get what you pay for in this case. Too bad you cannot give zero stars. Just so you know, I have never rated any business this badly. Thinking we had found a good deal on a 2.5-star hotel (according to Priceline) as we have has many good experiences with 2.5 stars, we booked this dump. I wish I looked at Yelp. Where to start? - They stuck us in a smoking room (YECH!) telling us that ALL non-smoking rooms were booked. When I went to the office an hour later to get change, I stood off to the side while the front desk lady (same one that checked us in) checked a man in. He asked for a non-smoking room. Guess what? She booked him right in. Guess there was no non-smoking room for 3rd party bookings if you got a discounted rate. - Should have taken the clue when they said they charge our card a $100 deposit which they refund after they check the room. WHAT? - The hotel room stank and the carpet looked so dirty, I kept my flip flops on at all times. - The bed was a nightmare. It was so hard that I woke up several times during the night to turn over as my hip hurt. I arrived home tonight with a backache that will require a trip to the chiropractor. - We were in the area for a conference with long days. We figured we ride it out for one more night. When I got up in the morning to get ready and put my makeup on, I discovered some of my makeup was missing. - The motel is old, dirty and not even close to a 1.5-star hotel. Spend $20-30 more a night and stay anywhere else then this dive. RODE WAY INN WAKE UP! This hotel is horrible. read more

Little did I know, my car breaking down in Colton, on the way home from Big Bear would end up being a pleasant experience. After the extended wait on the side of the 215 for tow service I just assumed that it wasn't my night. The Roadway Inn was the closest hotel, it would have to do. When I arrived the lobby was clean, almost sterile, but I'll take that over dirty, unkept any day. The staff behind the desk was attentive and friendly. They quickly got me into a room and on my way to some much needed rest. The fact they are pet friendly proved beneficial since the family dog was with me. The room was large and clean. Couldn't and wouldn't expect more from this class hotel. The bed was comfortable. Shower and toilet were above average with excellent water pressure. In the morning, the staff was very helpful securing a taxi for the drive over to the mechanic. This was more difficult then you would assume. Overall, the Roadway Inn did an excellent job considering this stranded motorist predicament and the accommodations most often associated with this class hotel. read more
