Feel the breeze on your skin as you hike naked
    Jessie A.

This was our first time at a nudist resort and this was the best place for beginners like us. The people that live here are like a huge family, they were all super welcoming and funny. Being naked is their thing so the embarrassment of walking around in your birthday suit wears off super quick. You can be as naked or not naked as you feel comfortable with. They have : a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, small restaurant, game room with a bar, tennis court, play area for the kids and awesome hiking trails. Bring your own games and equipment! It's a good way to meet new people! Unless there is an event going on it's a little bit of a slow place feel to it. Would 100% recommend! We are planning to go back for some of the events

I am excited about the dog park, as it really is a beautiful place to bring your fur babies and let them run. The hiking trails are wonderful and with the spring scenery it makes it perfect for a day of hiking

Olive Dell Ranch is my home. I've been a resident almost 5 years now and I don't want to live anywhere else. I love my home, I love my neighbors, and I love the freedom I have living here. We are currently going through a lot of changes, such as a change in management, operations, and other things like trying to upgrade many of the amenities available. Right now, there is discomfort with the changes and not all are in agreement everything takes time. But this is a natural process that occurs and in the meantime I'm excited about the events we still have going on and that so many of us are determined to keep this place going as the awesome and happy place we know it to be. I hope to make many more new connections with visitors. Hope to see you here!!

So, far I've been here 4 times for the Bare Burro Nude 5k run with family and friends , and it's always the same family friendly place to relax and unwind. Becky is awesome. The 5k run is a very challenging and unique experience.

I rented a cabin at Olive Dell RV Park and had a great time. Went hiking and afterwards watched a beautiful sunset. I'll be back.

However, it got a bit better later, mainly because the manager was really great with the way she handled matters. I would give the place a 2 starts and her attitude and work ethic a solid 4.5 starts. Overall this averages out to 3.5 stars. First the disappointment part: In my opinion this is not worth the price it definitely left a lot to be desired in terms of quality of rooms. Our 2 room suite had broken furniture in the living room, bathroom and the sliding door between the room was broken. The bathroom window curtain rod was broken and actually came apart and fell down while I was showering with rusty nails falling in tub. There was no walk-in shower which might be okay but the tub was also not cleaned well and a bit rundown. For people traveling with kids or lot of luggage, please be aware there is no concierge service/bell boy or carts, there is also no way to disembark from the car with luggage before parking. Parking is a walk away, so be prepared to walk with luggage. There is a valet service which will help out at extra cost. The room service ends at 9pm. On the first day, the customer service was not good. We got more "No" than "Yes" from the front desk but the customer service improved next day and the hotel manager was really great (Henrietta) which made up for the first day and drove me to give it a 3 star review). We requested a roll over extra bed/mattress. I don't have a comparison of the quality of this in other hotels but the bed we received was like a hospital bed and very uncomfortable to sleep in. The suite faced the front road so lots of traffic sounds and road sounds through the night. The redeeming part: The hotel manager was super helpful and understanding when we expressed our concerns. She saved the day for us, upgrading us to a bigger suite for the next night. While we ended up having some issues there as well, she was sincere enough to remit us one night's stay due to all the issues. Note that the suite we were upgraded to was historic and beautiful. If you like the haunted history associated with this hotel, this would be the suite to book. We did not experience any spooky stuff but the charm and age of the walls and the medieval castle feel was enchanting enough. The suite was surrounded by beautiful gardens and fountains. It was lovely. Overall, beautiful, historic place with charm and a bit of intrigue but I don't think the pricing per night is a reasonable fit for the quality of the rooms and services offered. The rooms could use renovation and modernization without impacting the historic quality and architectural elements. Better staff training to ensure all staff are courteous and passionate about customer service, better upkeep/maintenance, pest and insect control and longer hours of room service /dining would be great. Great manager, thank you Henrietta for your professionalism and service, your attitude and saved the trip for us.

Exactly the kind of service one would expect from a world class historic destination. Leah at the check-in desk was professional and personable. This made it impossible to relax or sleep, and I had no choice but to check out early. No guest should have to leave a hotel they paid for because the room is uninhabitable. What is even more concerning is that after looking at other reviews, I saw multiple guests reporting the same marijuana issue. This clearly shows it is an ongoing problem that management has not properly addressed. Although another room was offered, it was late at night and not reasonable to move, especially with my granddaughter. At that point, the damage to our stay was already done. A non-smoking hotel should enforce its policies and ensure guests are not exposed to smoke. I paid for a service that was not delivered. I am requesting a full refund for the night that was impacted, as well as the return of my deposit. This is the fair and reasonable resolution. If this is not handled appropriately, I will continue to escalate this matter and share my experience on multiple platforms.

Always greeting me when heading out or back in the hotel. My room had a king bed, stand in shower, tv, desk and also a small fridge and microwave area. My stay was decent for the most part! I didn't have much complaints. However just small things out of my control. The room did have a slight smell (not necessarily bad, I just aired out the room!) speaking of that. I did like how we are able to crack windows open a bit. I understand safety concerns but it was nice to get some fresh air. One thing though was the noise outside, maybe it was a radiator or something but it was pretty loud from evening till past 12am. The AC/HEAT unit was decent as well. Not the greatest but does what it needs to! It does have a slight smell too so I wonder how often they get cleaned and filtered out. I tried to do fresh air as much as possible. Tv had streaming and live TV. Microwave and fridges were. Clean! Bathroom was clean as well however I did have a bit of ants on the walls or the half end of the stay. The gym is small. 1 cable machine, 2 benches, free weights, 3 treadmill (only one worked at the time) and a few other cardio machines. Warm n humid in there Otherwise, that's really it! My experience was not bad. I think everyone's experience is subjective. I appreciated the service and stay for making my stay safe and comfortable.

Amber checked me in, and really turned my night around. I was having a really rough night and had just finished crying in my car, too tired to even function. Amber was SO kind and chatted with me as she checked me in, I told her I had kind of a crappy experience at another BW the night before, so she made sure I had a nice quiet room so I could finally sleep. She really seems to care about her job and the guests and that was SO refreshing to experience. There is a grocery store right across the street that was great for getting some supplies.
