The reason I came to this place is because I see that commercial late at night and figured I would give it a try since it's near my home. For me it is important that a office is maintained and that the front desk are friendly. Also, that the DDS makes me feel comfortable and safe. The front desk don't greet and don't say "thank you..." The room I was in had a water leak stain on the ceiling and a light fixture was a bit dangling. The trim of the door was rotten. When the DDS came in, his handshake was soft, LIMP. He doesn't look into the eyes and seems to be bothered by questions. He was probably in the room for under two minutes. The assistant (a sweet young girl) gave me the treatment plan and expressed that the DDS takes about 15 minutes for a root canal. NO THANK YOU. I ended up going to a SPECIALIST (endodontist) for those treatments. For this reason I give this place a low rating.

One very low radiation scan provides a computerized image that allows my dentist to 3D view any tooth from any angle. Each completed implant was digital X rayed in house to check alignment, however, this was done only once and the radiation level was so low that no one left the room. No lead apron was needed, and my dentist even held the film in place with his finger. Almost immediately, I viewed the image on screen with my dentist to verify the perfect alignment. The Houston dentists covered by my insurance use 1950's X ray equipment and hide in another room while they expose you to radiation levels that cause healthy teeth to erupt or go out of alignment. This method of predatory medicine provides them with more income that is certainly not earned by the quality of their work..

Everyone here stops and listens to your concerns with a smile. The kids are treated as individuals and they really like that. Dr. Ocampo is very patient and doesn't rush you when you try to explain what is going on with your child. He explains very well and gives his honest opinion for treatments that should or could or shouldn't be done. I appreciate this since many places just treated us like a transaction before. Appointments are always timely so you're never waiting around for very long with a lot of people.
