I told him that is what I paid for the house five years ago. We will list the home for $157300. What do you know, I was write, upon being listed on the MLS, we had a buyer make an offer for $157300 three hours later. No thanks to Taner, he did nothing. I spent 2.5 hours with the buyer. But through the whole month process. Taner was invisible. I cannot believe I even had to pay him. Taner will never call you by phone. He will either text you or facebook messenger you. You will never speak to him again after signing the contract. SO don't sign the contract with him. When the offer came in, with a deadline of 5 pm on it, there were things I did not agree to on it. We frantically tried to get ahold of our realtor to ask questions. WE texted, facebook messaged, called and left voice mails, emailed him, every way possible, but he just ignored us for the entire day. He should know as a Realtor, that when an offer comes in that the seller is going to have questions and should make himself available. Then after all the inspections were performed, there was only one repair request, that buyer had made. I wanted to see the inspection results of the septic system before agreeing to it. However, Taner my Realtor, acted like he did not have it and witheld it from me. He was disrespectful to my wife and I. He insulted our home, saying I cannot believe you got a full price offer. Let's hope it appraises for that. Every step of the way, step by step, things just got worse and worse. If he has ten years experience, it certainly does not show. Then he blocked my wife and I from being able to leave him a review, on his facebook page. If you look at his facebook page, he even left a review for himself. Some of his five star reviews were left by his family members, college friends, loan officers, his girlfriend and his own brother. I am assuming not one of those reviews is from an actual customer. His reviews are what got us to hire him. So I am warning you folks of Kansas City now, beware. You have been warned. Then since some of my friends left reviews on his facebook page, I was able to comment on those. Which I did. I am trying to protect others from what my wife and I experienced. It was the worst 30 days of our lives and probably aged us both by five years. My wife cried several times over his actions. We both lost tons of sleep. He even contacted the local authorities and made a false police report that I was harrassing him and his family, messaging them on facebook, which is 100% not true. People please, use your due diligence and check your realtor our fully before hiring, ask for references and contact those references. After two weeks of working with him, we fired him and had he VP, of Platinum Realty, Dennis Perkins handle the rest of our deal. Although he did not appreciated being pulled into the middle of it he did it. Without Dennis Perkins, my deal would have never closed and we would of lost our buyer.

While the field appraisal that caused issues in our closing was out of Shelbi's control, how she handled the situation after, was. We, her customer, didn't even know a field appraisal had been done nor that it had caused an issue with our closing until right before 5:00 p.m. ON CLOSING DAY - even though she had known of the trouble a couple of hours prior.  While she did try and get a hold of our realtor OVER an hour after having the information and was unable to reach him - We should have been called next and were not. Actually, we should have been called as soon as she was aware that there was a problem - before trying to find a solution. After all, we were her clients, not our realtor. We defaulted on our contract because she waited until 5:00 p.m. to let us know. We may have defaulted anyway, but her lack of communication robbed us of the chance to work something out with the sellers prior to defaulting. We ended up losing the house and our earnest money! Her true character showed during the most stressful time. We had to scramble to find another home.  She did offer to file a formal complaint to try and get our appraisal fee back. But here we sit nearly 4 months later and have not heard a peep from her....despite sending a follow-up email to her on Nov 5th ( 11 days ago) asking what the results of the investigation was. It's easy to be perceived as great when all things are going well, but it's who you are and what you do when the situation goes awry that really matters. She lacks professionalism and I couldn't recommend her to my worst enemy.

Our realtor was none other than the man, the myth, the legend himself, Bryan Huff. Needless to say he and his team did not disappoint! All interactions with any of the staff were exceptionally pleasant as they were very communicative, attentive, accommodating, knowledgeable and kind! They were just on top of their game every time we needed something. I'm not sure about any of the other realtors under him but based off our experience, Bryan went above and beyond for us and he didn't have to. I won't say what he did exactly because I don't want to put that expectation out there. So, during negotiations we came to a standstill with the buyer. Bryan came up with a new proposal which "somehow" didn't cost us anything extra and because of this we eventually came to an agreement and closed. If there was one complaint it would be the photographer. We basically had everything staged accordingly but obviously we were still living there and utilizing our home daily. We had made everything that was used daily compact and mobile so we could leave at a moments notice for a showing. So photo day came and I let the photographer know if something looks unsightly let me know and I can move it temporarily for the photos. When it came time for us to review the photos, they were great. The issue was that there was a bunch of "unsightly objects" my wife and did not want shown ie: basket of dirty laundry, cords for our bedroom TVs and a couple items in our backyard. This wasn't a huge deal because when we let him know he was able to edit everything out within an hour or two for us to approve and finalize. Overall I recommend them!

After financing, negotiations, and everything, I was informed by the Home Inspector within 30 minutes that the house was unfit for living, as the roof was a mess, the electrical was a mess, the water heater was a mess, ALL NOT listed on the disclosure as issues, in fact listed as BRAND NEW. There is no way she had no knowledge of this. Due to her FELONIOUS behavior, I not only wasted a ton of time, I paid for an inspection, AND I lost the excellent interest rate that was available at the time. Additionally, due to her inability to understand how to eSigniture online, I had to go out of my way to deal with paperwork. THIS IS AN ILLEGAL PRACTICE.
