Went in to rent a one man auger from Independent Rental and all they had was the tow behind so i…read morepaid and reserved it. Towing the Auger to North Pole going 45 miles on the highway is an unsafe option so brought in my 5x10 trailer to strap it down, this trailer was bought at Lowes brand new this year. Their maintenance person said he can't let it go on the trailer strapped down it is meant to be towed, that was all the reasoning he said. He didn't understand that towing to North Pole at 45 miles an hour is also unsafe and if you go faster than 45 miles the tow behind auger will flip. So, i ended up walking out after i paid for the reservation the night before, i did have them refund the money but it will take a few days for the transaction to clear. Maybe if they explain how to get to North Pole going 45mph without hitting the highway or maybe if the front desk was on the same page as the maintenance person or asked him instead of waiting till day of pickup and the maintenance person not releasing this, very disappointing. I went to Home Depot to get the One-Man Auger that they had in stock and not the tow behind and did not give the run around very helpful. I will not recommend Independent Rental to anyone.

He was at my property in 20 minutes and back the next day with all his equipment to fix our well. By the time all the other companies called me back on Monday, Gary had fixed our well and restored our water. He is a total well expert and I trusted him throughout the process. Give Gary a call if you have well issues...you won't be disappointed!

I needed "emergency" well service, called Gary at 8am, and he didn't flinch. We discussed the…read moreissue, he asked pertinent questions on accessing the well, and said that he would be up to help me. He arrived with a fully stocked truck and immediately went to work. I emphasize fully stocked, because it turned out I needed to replace everything (my well was ancient with substandard connections and pipe.) I worked side-by-side with him the entire time; well, I kept him company at least. He is a one man army, he could have practically done all the work with his eyes closed. He had every tool and device that he needed at the ready. It was impressive to watch him work, efficiency at it's best. He has decades of experience, and the stories that come with it. You won't find anyone with more local knowledge of the geological conditions in Fairbanks, or anyone tougher to work through cold adverse conditions to get the job done. Gary knows wells, he saved my butt, don't hesitate to call.

The amount of greed you are demonstrating is unbelievable. You gave me your word his car was safe with you while I traveled. Now instead of my son learning sacrifice (as the $1,500 was for his football) he is learning a different lesson. I understand I should have never taken a verbal agreement. You have turned a blessing into something evil. How can you even enjoy Eric's car when you out right stole it from his widow and 5 children. I am in complete disbelief. This is the message I sent the owner of this business Dan Davis after he gave me his word my late husbands $15,000 show car was safe with him while I traveled out of town as he was not able to come up with the money before I left. We made a verbal agreement he would purchase the vehicle for $1,500 + all fees which is a heart breaking deal for my family but had made the decision we could not afford to continue to store it and Dan assured he would also love the car the way my kids father did. I called the office 3 times before I finally heard from Dan who then admits to me he "sent the car to auction". He did not try to contact me before he did this. Legally I am in the wrong for excepting a verbal agreement. Morally this is BAD BUSINESS.
