Went in to rent a one man auger from Independent Rental and all they had was the tow behind so i…read morepaid and reserved it. Towing the Auger to North Pole going 45 miles on the highway is an unsafe option so brought in my 5x10 trailer to strap it down, this trailer was bought at Lowes brand new this year. Their maintenance person said he can't let it go on the trailer strapped down it is meant to be towed, that was all the reasoning he said. He didn't understand that towing to North Pole at 45 miles an hour is also unsafe and if you go faster than 45 miles the tow behind auger will flip. So, i ended up walking out after i paid for the reservation the night before, i did have them refund the money but it will take a few days for the transaction to clear. Maybe if they explain how to get to North Pole going 45mph without hitting the highway or maybe if the front desk was on the same page as the maintenance person or asked him instead of waiting till day of pickup and the maintenance person not releasing this, very disappointing. I went to Home Depot to get the One-Man Auger that they had in stock and not the tow behind and did not give the run around very helpful. I will not recommend Independent Rental to anyone.

I hired Chena Lawn Care to help me get the yard of our house in Fairbanks ready for sale. It had…read morebeen rented and was in dire need for maintenance. They worked with me on the project and had no problem with me doing some of the advance work. They cut trees, and brush mowed our rather large yard and the fire perimeter around the house and the driveway back to the road. Just to provide some scope, when we lived there full time and I did this work it took me more than a week to do all this much work. Then when the transfer station shut down, they came up with the idea of chipping the trees on site and that's what they did. Looks great. I may end up using them again.

The other company told us that we needed to replace it. They could do that for $3400. When I called Lupin, Jeremy said he could come over and give a second opinion. He came over within two hours and quickly determined that the contacts on the circuit board needed to be lubricated. He fixed the problem quickly and said the system was fine.
