You know how you go to Home Depot or Lowes to get your mulch every time you are looking to do yard projects? I am that guy, the one waiting for the 5 for $10 sale of the cheapest mulch you can buy, then replacing it each year as it dissolves or fades into oblivion. Why have I never thought of dropping in to a local business and seeing what they have? I am sure glad I did. I knew I was in the right place when I saw multiple yard service trucks there early in the morning picking up mulch to service their customers throughout the day. Roedell's offers all varieties of mulch, from shredded to pine bark, in a myriad of sizes and colors. You can get the mulch in bulk, or for just a bit more you can get it bagged just as it comes when you typically buy it. The staff is super helpful and will load it into your car as well as help you figure out how much you need. Coming here multiple times now, I have noticed they have a great variety of rocks for your landscape and sod for your grass. I'm thrilled I finally ditched the big box stores and quit waiting for the sales because now I can get better mulch at a stellar price any time I need it. read more

Negative stars. They did work on my yard and my irrigation system. Had them out multiple times to try to get the irrigation correct to no avail. Now they won't even come and fix it correctly. Steer clear of these people. They are not skilled enough to help you in any way nor do they care that they do crappy work. read more

Over the past month I have made multiple attempts to contact Kenny Roedell on his direct number, the owner of Roedell's Landscaping to give him a chance to meet with me and resolve multiple issues with a landscaping project that was done back in May of 2021.  He has never once answered the phone, or contacted me back directly.  I had Roedell's Landscaping out to my house back in May of last year to get an estimate, and see if they could provide a product and service for the boundaries of my front yard.  I discussed with the estimator, in detail, and also provided pictures (as examples) of what I was looking for and asked them if they could do the project and what they would recommend.  I told them the main goal was privacy.  I was told "Yes" they could do the project and was given a quote for $2,500 for 40 Large Podocarpus shrubs to be planted along the sides of my yard.  I asked specific questions regarding how the project would be done, including spacing, and placing of the Podocarpus'.  At one point I was told that I was being too technical and over thinking the project, and that "They do this type of work all the time".  Fast forward 7 months later, and I am completely unsatisfied with what was done to my front yard.  I have varying sizes of Podocarpus planted with gaps ranging from 2 feet up to 8 feet wide in some places (hardly the recipe for privacy) and nothing like what was described during the initial visit and estimate that was given.  I decided to give the owner a chance to meet with me in person to discuss what was done by his company compared to what I was originally told and quoted, along with the pictures provided as examples.  After a month of calling and leaving voicemails (he never once answered the phone) I'm through with this company. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY on Roedell's Landscaping in Apopka, as it is obvious that the owner does NOT stand behind the work that his company does. BUYER BEWARE!!! read more

In November 2015 Roedells Landscaping was hired to fix my irrigation system damages that were created by a swimming pool installation. When they fixed the irrigation they did not do it correctly. They had zones tied together that should have been which caused over watering of my plants. A reputable irrigation installer would never have done it this way. I attempted to contact Kenny the owner by phone and text for a month, multiple times per week I reached out to him with NO response. Also spoke with Natasha his office manager who assured me I would get a call back. After a month of pursuit of a resolution, nothing. I incured an additional $1,000 in expenses fixing their errors they created. So disappointed in this company, very sad that they couldn't even own their mistakes. HOME OWNERS BEWARE. read more
