Dropped my car off for a repair which is covered by warranty. They held the car for multiple days before looking. The said the part will be 2 days out. Then 2 days later stated i need another part will hopefully come next day. Next day says it will be 7-8 more days. I informed them I am having to pay for a rental car. No response. Now they are wanting to charge $598 saying the warranty doesn't cover the entire cost of parts. I called the warranty company, and they stated they are charging for extra labor, parts are covered. Have asked for service manager to call. He will not call. Will never go here again for any kind of service. DEFINITELY WILL NEVER LOOK FOR A CAR HERE. read more

The service manager has no business holding the position of service manager. The service department employees are not sufficiently trained. On more than one occasion my car mysteriously developed a new problem that hadn't existed. One instance is them replacing the torque tube on my C7 Corvette and returning it to me with an axle warning light on. The problem was the rear differential internal clutch module. So after charging more than $5,000.00 to replace the torque tube, they charged $1,100.00 to replace the module that they obviously damaged when replacing the torque tube. These three charging stations are located in front of the showroom window of Cape Coral's Roger Dean Chevrolet. As near as I can tell, the charging stations are free. I think the intention is that while you're waiting for your EV to charge, perhaps you'll take a look at what Roger Dean is selling. And yes, Chevrolet does offer an increasing number of electrically powered cars. There are some fast food restaurants across the street - Wendy's, Popeye's, Taco Bell and Arby's. I dropped off my 2020 Chev Camaro for an oil change. I told Lisa I had a coupon for the oil change, she said the 59$ one, ok good. I picked up the car & my bill was $165 for an oil change, I was told the coupon didn't apply to that vehicle, they had to use different oil, the coupon clearly states not good on Corvettes, they could of & should of called me to tell me this, there's a BIG difference between 59 & 165$, I will NEVER be back here again, my wife had a similar experience with being highly overcharged. read more

So went to Roger Dean on a scheduled appointment. The mechanic was not there they said, But they could get me in. Waited 2 weeks for appointment. Asked them if they could remove engine light that was on. They said it would cost $185.00 WOW!! I thought expensive I figured they might just do it for me. Told me to go to auto zone and do it for free. Customer Service?? I have taken our vehicles here for a while. Not anymore driving to Estero from now on even though I live in Cape Coral. I had fixed the vehicle prior to arriving there that past week. I just had questions for them and thought since I was there I would ask them so I kept the appointment, while I was there get rid of engine light. Seemed annoyed that I had questions to ask about my vehicle. So I went home removed NEG battery terminal - Re-attached and engine light is no longer there. $185.00 for that that is pure stealing. Waited for 3 weeks to get an appointment. I annotated several times on their online scheduling, their reminder emails, and on the phone a loaner would be needed--as on a brand new car there were already so many electrical issues with this Chevrolet. I've had the car less than 6 months with 8k miles, and upon arrival was told there was no option for a loaner. I could rent my own car and if it was a warranty issue they may reimburse me, but they wouldn't know until after the diagnosis. Then I ask rather than leaving and driving yet another 2 hours back and forth to have the diagnostic completed while I waited. They told me--even with a scheduled appointment and time after waiting 3 weeks, it'd take them at least 1-2 days to even bother to get it in. Why would i even need an appointment if that were the case. I rented thru their version of Enterprise and had to wait an hour for pickup anyway. I then drive the hour back home and within 30 min I'm given the call that says, oh ya, that was a known system issue, and they reuploaded the software and wanted me to bring the rental back immediately. Let's just say, that was not going to happen that day. They expect you to jump when they say jump and yet, provide that crappy of a service. They weren't able to duplicate my problem and basically only reuploaded the software as I asked them to do in the first place. But they'd rather put the customer out. So, now that the enterprise charge has posted to my account, I get to go fight for a refund. Why a brand new car has this many issues, and then we don't really know if its fixed, and now i get to go fight for my refund. Living the dream. Go Chevy! read more

Roger Dean Roger Dean . Welp I must say their communication and customer service is very responsive it's for a reason . If you ever take your Chevrolet in to Roger Dean of Cape Coral FL to be serviced , be sure to have one of "Roger Deans" sold warranty before ever getting service here . Although they're certified they will charge you an arm and a leg for every shop towel used near your vehicle while it's there . I was told upon dropping my truck off, before my truck was even glanced at by any tech , that my warranty that they did accept would give them trouble and not want to pay for the real GM part . Which is misleading , they push that the warranty company is cheap and won't pay for the legitimate non aftermarket piece , almost making you want to go with them . Then when I found a trusted mechanic in the area that met my warranty with only a deductible fee , they charged me 20$ for tax and shop supplies used during inspection (tax on labor ? , and 10$ on a shop towel they told me ? ) then when I proceeded to leave I asked for a print out or email of my estimates of repair , mostly to explain to me what needed to be done , they refused and explained to call my warranty co. , when I finally received the paperwork . I saw that the parts were completely covered by warranty and they were charging 4OOO$ for labor which was 3000 out of pocket on a brand new truck , and IRONICALLY enough it was exactly 3000$ over the national average price for labor on these repairs ! . As I can only give Roger Dean Chevrolet 1 star today must say he has great staff Named Lisa in service department . She deserves a raise and a paid vacation ! read more

Made an appointment for an oil change. Have now been waiting 3hrs and have still not received an oil change. When I went up to the clerk they he told the mechanic start on that oil change. After three hours the had not touch my car. Absolutely ridiculous read more

My review is specific to service. I've been to Roger Dean 3 times for service. It seems like a sweatshop compared to what I'm used to in Colorado. The initial appointment call was too simple and cookie cutter. The initial in-person appointment (and follow ups) the service person is just figuring out what I need while I stand there at the counter. I've had multiple visits due to a simple task not being completed correctly. There was no sense of accountability for lack of quality and wasted trips. If you ever had the sense that the "service" person is only keying in on a few words and the rest is just noise to them, this is that place. My next trip to have service performed on my car will be at a different local dealer. I'll post a review on that one when I experience it. read more
