Replaced my BMW fuel pump Charged 400 for labor and I am ok with it, the cost of the pump less than 300 dollars was charged 800 dollars , I request the part back to me and I didn't find anything wrong with the pump I had pressure , when I read the full estimate I ask to stop the repair He denied say was too late, already install the part he cannot be returned. $211.35. To check 1,211.19. Remove and replace fuel pump Shop supplies $69.98 Tax 97.1 Grand total 1,589.53 In theory for a part less then 300 dollars I end up paying 1,589.53 For no more then 2 hours work So this place was very reputable shop, after was sold is going downhill Compare the reviews from the previous owner and the one from Yelp you will see the difference I believe was purchase from a chain (Pit stop auto repair) But is all about the new Manager Nothing wrong with the company whom purchase, is all about whom manage it Just a rip off and over price the parts , SO STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE They run this business under the previous family owned name read more

I had taken my truck here a few times but the last time they charged $290 for 20 minutes labor to instal a $50 4wd linkage. I thought that was rather pricey but let it slide because being a repeat customer I gave them the benefit of the doubt. HOWEVER the other day these guys quoted me $2550 to instal an AC compressor but I knew better and called 2 other shops and got the job done (as well as a new AC condenser) by a reputable shop for $1350 out the door. I went in the wobbly tires at high speeds on the interstate. They did a $221 wheel alignment. Problem not fixed. I went back and they said I needed a $45 wheel balancing and I would have to pay for it, they wouldn't, even though they misdiagnosed the issue in the first place. I'm getting it done elsewhere. Bad reviews and owners coming back and arguing that the customer is wrong. Too many leaves me to believe there's no smoke without fire. And they charge people an excessive rate for basic diagnostic if the car owner doesn't accept their excessive prices. Any company having to defend themselves as often as thus is obviously not seeking to help resolve the customers concerns. Just talking back and everything is somebody else's fault. I had had a part replaced last year there, and even though the work was done over a year ago, these wonderful people put it under the warranty! They did not even charge us for the labor. I purchased a tire from them. $270 but, they also (apparently) charged me for somebody else's service. It was a separate charge on my card for $633. so, I now have a tire that cost over $900! They admitted it was a mistake and trying to figure out what happened. 11 days and they still have not reversed the charge. NEVER will I do business with them again. Very frustrated! HELP read more

I took my car to Mickey Franklin because I hit something in the road and I thought I did some damage to it. It sat there for a day and then I got a call that night and they said that it wasn't mechanical. It was body damage. So I called my insurance company and they okayed me to take it to a body shop. I couldn't get it in for 30 days. I had to rent a car for that 30 days. Once I finally got it to the body shop they told me it isn't a body issue, It's mechanical. Now I had to find another mechanic shop since Mickey Franklin didn't seem to know or didn't bother to look at it. I took it to a new mechanic shop. They had my car for a week and then called me and told me there was nothing wrong with my car. It just needed an alignment. They didn't do alignments so now I have to find another place to do the alignment. This has taken over a month and a half... All due to the fact that Mickey Franklin couldn't figure it out that it was an alignment issue. It's quite obvious they didn't even look at it. Since the new owners took over I think they must've gotten some new mechanics who really don't know what's going on so this has cost me over a month and a half without my car along with costing me for the car rental. I will never take a car back to Mickey Franklin again. read more

Got a transmission put in for my work truck with my father and ever since we went to Micky Franklins, nothing but problems have come from it. They originally told us they had to switch a little fuse box out, but ford stopped producing the part for our Ford truck. So Micky told us that he had to rewire it all and put a new starter in, that cost us $500. Still didnt fix the problem, so we brought it back in to Micky Franklins (HUGE MISTAKE). He told us it was a little wire that they had to fix in the shifter, paid another $175 for that and it still didn't fix the problem. So my father calls them again and they proceed to tell him that they never changed that wire and it was "another different problem" I will never give business to Micky Franklin again, the guys a crook and clearly doesn't care about his customers. You think the guy would have a little more decency to help people out during this corona virus time, instead he's fine with stealing around $700 from hard working individuals. If you're a licensed mechanic and then you diagnose the problem and fix it because you're a professional and clearly know what you're doing. That's not the case with Micky Franklin. He will ruin your vehicle and try and suck as much money possible. Never trust Micky Franklin. read more
