When I walked in I saw two employees on the phone taking care of customers. I browsed the store checking if I saw the water filter I needed. I didn't. One of the employees said they do not stock the filter but they can order it. A-1 is known for stocking older model replacement parts and what I call off parts. I had an old oven from the 1950's and the element burned out. I went to A-1 and they had that old part in stock. I was told I could order the water filter from Amazon and get it quickly. I didn't think to check Amazon for the water filter. Thank you A-1 for that recommendation!

I'm very disappointed with our latest interaction with Brian and Midsouth. He came out and gave us an estimate on what it would take to pack up and move our things to storage as we're getting ready to sell our house. After the move was all over it was actually double what he quoted us. Now I understand it was just an estimate, and estimates can be off a little bit but his estimate was off by $3000. It wouldn't be so bad except for he sent, I believe, five or six workers. Only two of them worked the entire time they were there. I wish I had gotten the names of the two workers, because they were very hard-working and did not stop the entire time. Whereas the other guys had to be told numerous times to go do something. One was even sitting in the den in a chair on his phone for quite some time. Once we are ready to move into our new home, we will have to get our stuff out of storage. I will have to think long and hard as to whether I will use them again.
