Appointment time came and went. The guy was a no show. Didn't call, either. A couple of hours after the appointment time, I called their office. Got the standard outgoing "sorry we missed your call blah blah blah" so I left the standard name-number-reason for calling message. Here we are in late June, and I'm still waiting for the call back. I would love to have solar panels with the energy storage battery system, but if they are this unreliable before we even get started, I will respectfully pass. I will continue to look for a company who actually wants to do business and respects their scheduling commitments. To waste my time (that I took off work for this appointment) and not even follow up with a return call tells me all I need to know. Kinda feels like dodging a bullet.

READ THIS BEFORE BUYING SOLAR!…read more When putting all the money out for a solar system it's extremely important to hire a local company that has its own installers and that actually cares about solar. Four years ago I purchased a solar system not knowing what I was doing from a non-local company. Five months ago half the system quit working. I contacted the company and they kept ignoring my request for repair. Then I finally received an email that stated they were going bankrupt. I found out that a lot of companies sprang up to collect the government payout and after things dried up would take the money and run. Since I am paying a savings and loan I couldn't simply stop paying and I still owed over 17k. They referred me to the company they contracted with. That company blew me off, there's not much money in repair vs full installs. I tried a third company that I thought was local but turned out not to be and the contractor they hire could not repair my system. FYI, there are different manufacturers of systems and they are very different. Finally I found Truesouth solar, their customer service was friendly and helpful. They sent a knowledgeable tech out who was on staff and not an independent contractor. He fixed my system and it works perfectly now. Truesouth solar did not make much money off of me and yet treated me with concern and respect. If you are in southern Oregon and want to purchase a solar system I highly recommend them. Down the road if something goes wrong, you need to be able to count on support. I literally contacted every company in the Medford area and Truesouth solar was the only one that was willing and competent to help.

I was visiting Moxley Media in Medford when I had seen a PureLight Solar wrap on a Prius parked on the street that said $0 upfront cost. I contacted them within a week and Destiny arrived to go over the benefits of Solar and what it could mean for me. I was thrilled about the benefits and decided to let her work up a quote for me. Within a few days she contacted me with a proposal and it was to good to pass up so I proceeded with the contract. Today is September 15th 2022 and I just had everything completed to flip my Solar switch. I am beyond excited to start saving money on my electric bill and putting it into a electric system I own. One installer told me my ceiling was slanted? I actually had to go to Mark with info on all 4 units showing times, result before he would send a repairman out. No refrigerant in the line to any unit. May 2025 I spent $15,885.00 on a new furnace and heat pump. When installed it did not work properly. Service call two days later, still not working properly. Did not use over the summer. November the service calls started again, until the repairman stopped communicating with me. It took a complaint to the Construction Contractors Board in January, eight and one half months after installation, for Warren to call me. Warren and Brandon came out, hooked up a loose wire, problem solved? I have no faith in the service calls, what I am told, or anything else from SOHAC, so now I must use a different company for maintenance and repairs. Michelle was always friendly and helpful.
