Exactly what we needed after exploring the Bonneville Salt Flats. The whole place was bumping when we got there - We claimed the last empty table & the employee was nice enough to wipe it down for us. I ordered the carnitas plate & my partner ordered the chimichanga with carnitas. Also, two large sodas. The total came to $34. While we waited, we helped ourselves to a self-serve chip station. The salsa verde was suuuper spicy & very tasty. It took quite some time for our food to come out - Maybe it was the lunch rush or maybe they just put a lot of TLC into their food. Either way, we were glad for the chips to hold us over. My carnitas plate was really great. I loved how crispy the carnitas was in some places but not dry. My partner really enjoyed his chimichanga. We love Rolbertos! Fantastic and authentic Mexican food at this tiny delicious spot located next door to the Wendover Nugget and across the road from the Montego Bay hotel casino. We have gotten 5 or 6 items off their menu and have never been disappointed. If you are familiar with Beto's, this place is similar but with better more authentic food. Their burritos and carne asada plates are fantastic and loaded nachos are awesome! If you are around the state line on I-80 rolling through on your way into or out of Salt Lake City and need a bite to eat or are staying in Wendover and just tired of casino food, run over to Rolbertos for some amazing food and quick, friendly service. read more

This little restaurant has amazing food! I always order the steak quesadilla and its always delicious! The quesabirria tacos are so good too but they do have quite a kick! They usually do have a small crowd in there so it might be hard to find a table. The tables could also be wiped down more often. The sides (onions, cilantro. Limes, etc) have always needed to be restocked when I go in there. The price is worth the food though! Overall its a nice LITTLE place with great food. read more

Great Mexican joint, right by the casino over there. Had the breakfast burrito with bacon, chorizo, egg, rice (usually potato) and cheese. Hit all the right spots like my favorite Mexican joints do at home, and for only $10, mind you. No frills, and they aren't needed here. The salsa/chip station (not pictured here) is also a really cool touch. Went with the guacamole salsa which had all the right flavors with not too much spice, and their Pico de Gallo which also reminded me of home. We have eaten at Roberto's in Las Vegas NV for years because we lived there 28 years so excited to see Wendover Nevada had one but we've eaten there twice and no more their quality of food just isn't the same son always gets carne asada plate the flank steak comes as 2 big pieces good luck cutting up that stuff with a plastic knife and I got rolled tacos fried so hard I just threw it away my son had to stand in line behind 5 people to get his 2 flour tortillas that we ordered and paid extra for but wasn't with the meal paid $26 for both meals and was so disappointed I thought all chain food restaurants were the same but NO! read more

Wary of ordering Mexican food outside of San Diego, found Rolbertos to be a pleasant surprise. Authentic Mexican food, dishes not normally found like Cabiza, Lengua, Tripas Burritos. My story starts with an unfortunate tale of taking chances at the Roulette Wheel next door. With that came some drinks...maybe more. Can't say, really. Add a lot of cigarette smoke and a restless night. I needed Menudo! I've been to this place before. For Menudo and wasn't disappointed. I wanted to see if it was the same and it was. The flavors are perfect and you can add the spice level of your choice. The bowl was BIG. Made me happy. It was hot and filling. I love it. Menudo might not be for everyone but you really should give it a try. I grazed the menu and also got some Carnitas (awesome) but didn't realize that there was Birria Tacos on the menu as well. Next time. Don't know if I could handle the feeling of the Casinos again so soon but like everything else in life...you forget then you're right back at it on the dance floor to some 70's cover band. But it's worth visiting Roberto's again. This place is in the perfect location. Drop by. Scan the menu and enjoy. I know you will, especially if you stopped by the Dispensary down the street. Some people critique'd that the place is not clean. I did not hesitate to sit down and eat (have any of you looked around while you were gambling?). I thought the staff was fine. They seemed happy. They tell you 15 minutes & take 35 minutes in total. But when you tell them you want your money back they automatically tell you it's ready. They don't give you updates unless you get up & go ask. I tried Rolberto's about six months ago and thought it was ok. Not great--not even Taco Bell good--but the service was friendly and the menu extensive, so I was generous in my first review. Half a year has gone by and the quality has steadily declined to the point that I'm simply not willing to go back. I had a burrito today and the beans were obviously canned and unseasoned, the rice bland, and the tortilla stiff and inedible. The salsa that comes with the complementary chips is watery and horrible, and the service tepid at best. No one seems to be cleaning the place, as the tables that were dirty when we walked in were still dirty when we finished eating and left. Give this place a pass. read more

Looks like a standard taqueria at first blush, but this is a bomb joint. The burritos are around $10 after tax but they're legit forearm sized and STUFFED with tasty meat (they do the carnitas very well here). Right next to the Golden Nugget. But technically in Utah so it might be the best taqueria in Utah idk, I can't think of a better one offhand. read more
