    2 orders of S'Mores and back/right Oreo
    Laleh H.

The moment i saw this shop, I knew I had to stop by! On a whim, I had hubby pull in to the parking lot after dinner nearby at one of our fav spots. I went in alone because my kids were in the car and one of them has a peanut/nut allergy. I was greeted very warmly when I entered and immediately asked If i would like to order something. I had a few questions, mainly about the products and if any of them contained any nuts or there was a possibility of any cross contamination or contact. They very patiently went over the ingredients providing me info on which ingredients were in fact labelled as nut free (made in a nut free facility) and showed me that they had a dedicated spot to make my daughter's order to ensure no contact with other orders/ingredients. I called in my hubby and the kids and we placed our orders! My kids loved watching their orders being prepared. My youngest had the Oreo, my oldest and I had the S'Mores and hubby also ordered Oreo. They took so much time and care into preparing everything and we enjoyed it further by eating there. The ice cream flavours were full of flavour and OMG talk about being spoiled with all the add ons you can add to your order! The selection of desserts is great! They also sell The Cheesecake Factory cheesecake slices and cupcakes in addition to milkshakes, ice cream cones. Overall a great experience and we can't wait to go back!

If you're like me, who probably spends too much time on social media, you might've seen those mesmerizing videos of people making rolled ice cream. The trendiest new-age type of ice cream that involves a cold plate, liquid ice cream, and staff who are gonna get ripped arms in no time. Well now Roll Me Up has brought the goodness to Main Street Markham (where Love Gelato used to be, which moved up the street). With its bright colours and picture-worthy desserts, it's the new perfect after-dinner destination for the whole family. They've got your classics like vanilla, strawberry, mint chocolate...and then some fun ones like espresso, smores, and PB&J. It's all made with real cream (you can really taste it) and fresh toppings. Honestly, gimmick aside, I can see myself coming back to this place a lot. I've always loved places where you can get toppings with ice cream (marble slab, cold stone), but I think Roll Me Up takes the cake. The cream is creamy (lol) and not very sweet. They've got a bunch of neat toppings but I like the classics, just chocolate chips and fresh fruit. They do the classics well. Something about it tastes very authentic and fresh, and I'm here for it. Welcome to Markham, Roll Me Up! Looking forward to visiting and seeing you get more and more customers as summer rolls around.

Cute decor with a pop of yellow bench.

Found this shop which use to be the old location of Love Gelato. They sell rolled up ice cream, milkshakes and Cheesecake Factory cakes. I ordered the Pina Colada rolled up ice cream topped with strawberry & lychee jelly. This came in just under $8. They used fresh pineapple chunks and they were so sweet! It was very tasty and SO refreshing (perfect summer treat). There are a ton of flavours either single, mixed or premium. You are guaranteed to find something you will like I love the cute outdoor patio space with the teal colour patio set. Lots of room for physical distancing. There is also a small parking lot in the back with a few spots.

Great spot, loved the customization in the ice-cream flavours and toppings! Loved the waffles as well great place for friends hangouts

We were taking a stroll on Main Street and saw the colorful signs and people waiting outside. As we neared the entrance, we saw people order and step to the side. The staff inside waved at us to come in. It felt very welcoming. The atmosphere itself makes you want to come back. There were quite a few staff working, dancing to the music while making the ice cream. Rolled ice cream is essentially some very fresh cream poured into a freezing surface and smashed and flattened before being rolled up. We ordered the funky monkey which we saw a couple of Nutella put in on top of a small segment of banana. Simple ingredients. You get to choose 2 toppings - we chose chocolate chips and some wafers. The taste was divine. The subtle sweetness of banana mixed with Nutella. The wafers were fresh and crispy. I guess I only wish they put in a bit more than a small plastic spoon of maybe 6 chocolate chips and two small quarters of wafers. I get cost of goods had gone up but for $8 including tax it felt like very little.

Hand rolled ice cream, yummy. A ton of flavours to choose from and endless topping selections. Bound for an awesome ice cream experience.

First time trying this establishment. Let me tell you it was really good. Sorry only got a picture of the strawberry cheesecake roll up ice cream with strawberries and graham crackers. We also had the peanut butter banana chocolate roll up and the chocolate brownie roll up. The strawberry cheese cake had great flavour. The favourite was the peanut butter banana chocolate ice cream. We will be ordering again soon.

There's something about finding a restaurant in a nook & cranny situation that feels rewarding. I was hesitant for a split second since I was visiting at night doubting if I'm at the right place. Then before you know it, you're greeted with Roll Me Up Ice Cream's warm lights and Pink Banner. Mango Madness($6.49): Mango flavoured cream poured with fresh mango and minced to oblivion on a cold table. Toppings: Whipped cream, Mango syrup, Lychee bubbles, and Mango Bubbles. Favorite Vanilla($6.49): Vanilla flavoured cream, hacked and slashed until it came to a thick consistency to be spread out and rolled to perfection. Toppings: Whipped cream, chocolate syrup, fruit loops, and mango bubbles. The ice cream itself is very cold! It became an instant Go-to during the summer heat. The ice cream flavours weren't too mild but had enough sweetness to let the toppings shine through and compliment your ice cream base. I highly suggest adding bubbles to your ice cream. The moment you bite onto them, they burst with flavour! With that, I say Rolled ice cream is a pretty neat addition to the Markham Village, and I will be back for more.

What I really liked is the customer service the employee was really respectful and took feedback I asked him if the whipped cream has carageenan, he let me checked and listened on why carageenan is bad for your health, I took the coffee flavoured with boba I like the popping texture when you first eat it and it explodes with flavour, the ice cream you can really taste the coffee, I think one of the best rolled ice cream I've tried so far, definitely come check this place out

Unfortunately the covid restrictions took out the fun of watching your rolled ice cream being made! The place itself is very small, with 2 small tables inside and 2 outside which were both packed. We waited outside until they called our order number. When you are back inside, they will let you pick 2 additional toppings, but they are very stingy with them. The girl in front of me asked for pocky and they literally gave her one stick, and it was a broken piece! The ice cream rolls itself were tasty on a hot day but other than the roasted marshmallow, I couldn't really tell it was smores at all. (On a side note: why did they give me such a long stick for the marshmallow? Looks odd in my opinion.) It is nice to finally have a rolled ice cream place nearby but given the price, I probably would opt for something else instead.

Was travelling to Toronto , drop by this fancy ice cream store with excellent customer service, open til late night , a MUST TRY late night dessert in Markham !!

    Pina colada
    Mindy L.

Tried this over the weekend. I tried their pina colada rolled ice cream. I liked the pineapple mixed into the vanilla ice cream. I wasn't a fan of the added coconut shreds. It made the texture unpleasant. They also offer some selections of added toppings that you can choose from. I added whip cream, condensed milk, strawberry, and passion fruit jelly. It was a nice added touch. Staff were nice but the ice cream was just average for me.

It's pretty good ice cream! I ordered the oreo waffle cone and my date ordered the strawberry waffle cone. It was a bit pricy at $20 and we waited about 10 minutes despite having no other customers around. I give my ice cream 8/10 so it was pretty good! The location is a bit hard to find as its to the side of the building but the staff were friendly. I'm not sure if I would return but I do recommend you check this place out if you're in the Markham area.

Ice cream is offered in many different flavors. Original egg waffles are 2 for $5 which is the cheapest I've come across, no where else beats this price. I keep coming back here because of their great service and the prices are really good. If you're craving for some dessert or even a drink I would highly recommend this place. You pass through a charming patio to enter, which was shaded nicely thanks to the size of the Shoppers building. Given the recent heatwave, we opted to sit indoors. We were greeted at the door and offered the choice between a two-person table tucked farther inside or a four-person table closer to other diners. We chose the smaller table for a bit more privacy and ease of conversation. Menus were provided right away, followed shortly by tap water. When our server checked in to ask about drinks, we let her know we were fine with just water. Later, when we were ready to order, she came promptly when we called her over. A standout moment: we ordered just one smoothie, and she kindly asked if we were sharing, then offered to split it into two cups without us even asking. A thoughtful and appreciated gesture. The Pineapple Banana Smoothie was a highlight. It was perfectly balanced between sweet and tart, and incredibly refreshing. My sister ordered the Halloumi Benedict. She noted that while the waffles leaned toward a sweeter flavor on their own, the combination of waffle, egg, and halloumi was well-balanced and worked beautifully together. The egg was jammy and spot-on in terms of taste, texture, and presentation. I had the Fully Loaded, which features a potato waffle topped with bacon bits, sour cream, chives, and cheese. It leaned a bit salty, but not overwhelmingly so, still quite enjoyable overall. I loved the potato waffle which has the slightly crispy edges but was soft to bite with a texture that resembled mash potatoes. As someone who isn't usually crazy about waffles, which was such a nice alternative. Each of our mains came with a side salad (lightly dressed and refreshing) and a choice of fruit salad, maple baked beans, or potato salad. We both chose the fruit salad, which was impressively varied with orange, grapefruit, watermelon, blueberry, blackberry, and banana. Note: Payment is cash or debit only.

The yuzu sauce was refreshing paired well with chicken. The dish came with a side of salad which helped balance out the heaviness of the fried chicken and mochi. We also ordered their pistachio souflle pancake and it was delectable. It was light, airy and fluffy. The pistachio sauce was creamy, nutty and aromatic without being too sweet. I also liked how it came with fruits on the side. I also ordered their hojicha latte, which was one of the best ones I've had. It was smooth, creamy, and had just the right amount of tea flavor. The milk foam had the perfect velvety texture and it came with a pretty latte art. Overall, I really enjoyed the brunch they offer here. It is a pretty simple cafe, so don't expect it to be all decked out because it's not those instagramable cafes. But the food were solid and it's a great option for a small group brunch as they don't have many tables and they don't have large tables at all (the best is to 4 people or less). Staff is very limited but it could be because we went on a Thursday and it wasn't busy. They have a QR code for you to scan and you can order directly from there and food came fairly quickly shortly after we placed our order. I would definitely return when I'm back in town.

Hoping to get ahead of it, I requested the kitchen make it "more saucy." That was a huge mistake. Instead of actual sauce, it tasted like they literally just dumped water into the dish to thin it out. What arrived was a bland, watery, and completely tasteless mess. It was so flavorless that I had to aggressively add my own salt and pepper just to make it palatable. The photo speaks volumes--it was completely ruined. The service was cold and entirely hands-off. Our waitress took our order and then performed a total disappearing act. She never checked back in on us to see how the food was, and we literally never saw her again for the rest of our meal. Our fallback and favourite is the mango shaved ice #1, deep fried peanut butter toast bites #2 and last is the egg waffle. The egg waffle is quite hard and it misses the mark of most egg waffles. I wonder if it becomes hard or has to be cooked harder because of the ice cream topping. I wouldn't order the egg waffle here again. I find that the desserts are reasonably priced compared to other Asian dessert stops in the area. The menu is extensive and has more cold desserts than warm desserts. Service was pretty good considering how busy it was on Friday evening and we were always able to get the attention of a server. Expect that seating is tight on popular evenings.
