Nice place inside it seemed. I did just get a simple black coffee to go but it seems nice. The sever was super nice early in the morning and quickly got my coffee to me.

One of the worst cappuccinos I ever had. It was soooo hot, I had to wait for 15-20 minutes to drink it. The coffee beans tasted very bad, too dark roasted (nobody even asked me what kind of roast do I want). The place was very dirty, not clean and very unpleasant to sit there. My friend worked here and use to tell me that this is the best coffee place around here. Well, after trying, I can definitely say, that she was wrong or she never had a good one)) Cappuccino in Elvis is 100 times better (but I don't like this fact that portion is soooo small).

Cups, a staple of the Jackson community, had always been a popular place for local residents to grab coffee, study, and do work. So upon stopping by this Flowood location, I was enthusiastic about the quality I was about to receive. That, unfortunately, wasn't what I got. The seating areas were decent, albeit, with some tattered and awkwardly placed furniture. When I ordered my coffee, a small vanilla latte, it wasn't too warm, and, in this time of COVID, they also didn't place a lid of on my coffee, but rather had a station for us to place our lid caps and cup warmers on. Usually, this would be totally okay, but during this pandemic, we shouldn't be touching other items that every patron comes in and touches. The bathrooms were also not the most clean, and the cheese danish they handed me was placed in plastic wrap and wasn't warmed up. While the coffee tasted good and the ambience was nice, outside of that, this coffee shop was pretty lackluster. If you're in the Jackson area, stop by one of the many other far better Cups around the area for your caffeine fix.

Love the coffee. My wife loved the Lavender latte. Prices are good! Much better than that other place named after some guy in a Melville novel.

People in Mississippi just go googoo-gaga over this place and I'm really not sure why. Since I'm out of luck as far as SBUX is concerned when I am here visiting family, I'm pretty much forced to use Cups to get my iced coffee fix. Now, there is a SBUX inside of Target, but it is awful, awful, awful... I will never return there. The first time I was here, I ordered my iced coffee exactly like I do at SBUX. Well, I tried to. The sizes are different and I wasn't sure of how many pumps to use of the caramel and toffee syrup. What I ended up with was WAY too sweet. The cup was about the same size, so I figured the pumps would be about the same. Not so. The next visit, I had them put way less syrup and I at least ended up with something I could drink. The barista seemed annoyed with me because I wasn't familiar with their sizes. Excuse me for having to take a moment to try to do the conversions and she wasn't even attempting to help me at all. She just stood there glaring at me as if to say "would you hurry up." They do have plenty of comfortable seating here with free wifi. Seems like a good place to sit down with your laptop if you need to get some work done. If you order one of their regular drinks straight off the menu, maybe it's fine? I don't advise going in here with a specialty order if you're from out of town and are a SBUX person. It's also hard to find parking close to the entrance because it's in a shopping center and there's no drive-thru. If you're in a hurry, this could really be a problem. 3 stars why? Because it's my only option. To the State of Mississippi: Please catch the hell up and build some SBUX!

A quaint little coffeehouse located on the corner of the shopping center. Not much parking in front of the building but plenty in the shopping center parking lot, who couldn't use a little walk anyway . The barista was friendly, and didn't have to wait very long at all. The coffee was fresh and hot, and didn't have that burnt taste like some other coffeehouses have.

The only downfall was all of our drinks were lukewarm, not super hot. Dirty chai and vanilla latte were pretty standard.

Blondie was a great coffee, even though I am not a huge Caramel fan, but I thought would give it a try.

My niece is crazy about the corn dogs here. But I thought my niece was saying hotdogs, but the sweet girl at the counter helped me there, sweetly saying corn dogs. So there's a funny part: I don't think I took a picture of this. But don't let this change your mind. So, I got the corn dog with the sausage. The corn dog was so good I forgot the sausage was supposed to be inside. The amount of cheese is insane, love it. The bread and the outside of the corn dog are something to write home about. It takes a lot to eat this corn dog and I'm loving every bite. But toward the very end, I bite something, and I'm like, what is this? I looked at it, holding it up, and it's the sausage. The sausage is at the very end; it is no bigger and no longer than your baby finger. So don't go there thinking you will have a full sausage. But you would probably be like me, so carried away with the taste of the corndog and forget there is supposed to be a sausage. I brought this up to my niece, and before I could finish, she told me the story, hollering and laughing. I must add, its a charming place too!

Not sure what had happened in the 2 years since I last ate there but the place was filthy and gross, we were told that the wait was 15-20 minutes , even tho there were tables available and staff standing around. We sat at the bar and the bar tender (who's literally doing all the work ) informed us we could eat at the bar. Why wasn't the hostess capable of telling us? Because she was too busy yapping to the waitress who wasn't waiting on people. The food came out and the potatoes were dry and tasted like they were cooked at 4 am and sat out all day , not to mention what they called an omelette was actually some egg smashed on top of vegetables and ALL of the cheese on the top. It wasn't even rolled or resembled an omelette shape. I should have taken a picture but as I type this, I'm praying I don't get food poisoning. How are you a breakfast place and your cook can't make an omelette?? How is that possible? I'm so disappointed in the quality of service, food, and cleanliness. The bartender asked one of his coworkers for help and she rolled her eyes . Who ever is managing should be ashamed.

The kind of people you'd actually want to sit down and have a conversation with. And the coffee? Absolute perfection. Not "good for a local spot"...I'm talking dialed-in, crafted, consistent perfection. You can tell there's pride behind every cup. The food holds its own too--fresh, quality, and thoughtfully done. No shortcuts here. But what really sets this place apart is the vibe. This is the modern-day "Friends" coffee house--the kind of spot where you could post up for hours, meet new people, or just decompress and feel human again. In a world full of transactional, get-in-get-out coffee stops, Six Day Grind is the exact opposite. It's intentional. It's welcoming.
