June 2025 I've been meaning to write a review for sometime, unfortunately I got sidetracked. Initially there was a glitch when I showed up for my appointment, however the gal at the front desk arranged for me to go directly to Rolling Oaks at the St. John's location. Once there I received excellent care. *Isabella / mammogram *Rose & Lydia / bone scan *Rene, I believe she was the tech who saw me afterward: I recall reviewing her computer screen w/her. I opted for the EBCD out of pocket test, not just as an extra precaution, but to hopefully drive the cost down making it more equitable for everyone. Perhaps this precise AI test is what we were reviewing together. Grateful I'm finally circling back to leave a good review, as a previous brain scan at this facility was less than desirable. I will say however, in regard to the MRI review I received conscientious follow up. read more

Ok so I had to come back as this is closest to my house and I must say ... service has improved. I have been dealing with a lot of health issues and I had been traveling to Thousand Oaks to avoid this place. I needed a CT with contrast and I had the most caring tech . He quickly put the IV catheter in and checked how I was doing often . He was so respectful and kind. I did get a little sick after the test and made sure I was ok. Receptionist / office staff were also nice . Overall I had a great experience during a test that is pretty nerve wrecking for me. read more

I took my wife here for her yearly mammogram and she was treated exceptionally well. The front office staff was courteous and helpful, and the tech was friendly and professional. I have been to almost all the Rolling Oaks facilities in my area and this one is one of the best. read more

Fast and painless! Went in 40 min before scheduled appointment time. Was greeted immediately. Waited for 10min or so and was seen before my scheduled time. Front staff and medical team were exceptional and provided great care! Would come back to this location if needed. read more

I've been here several times and can't say enough about the staff! Everyone is so nice and welcoming and professional! I never have to wait long and the technician msgs/assistants are great! From mammograms to MRIs...this is where Ive been coming for the last 3 years. Some people get really freaked out by the MRI process but they do a great job of making their patients comfortable. The scanning has come a long way-15 minutes vs the old machines that would take an hour for the same scan. I highly recommend coming here for all your scan needs! read more

Everytime I have an appointment, they make me wait over 40 minutes and sometimes an hour. Once they completely forgot about me. The St John's front desk are always behind even when I check in early. Last month, they didn't let me put a robe on in the dressing room and made me undress in front of the technician which was very unprofessional and uncomfortable. Too many times this place has been too behind and not professional. I'll be trying elsewhere from now on. read more

Rolling Oaks Radiology ( all locations) have to be the absolute worst radiology company I've ever dealt with. My doctor sent over a work order for an MRI and I scheduled it at the solar office. I showed up for my appointment and was told that I would have to wait an hour and a half which I said I could not do. I then tried to reschedule using their website and it wouldn't allow me to reschedule the appointment. I had to submit an email request to fix that. I finally was able to schedule my online appointment, but there were literally no available timeslots. Today I got a phone call about rescheduling my appointment and they had a 4:15 pm availability. I confirmed numerous times with the person that called the location of the MRI at the s Solar drive facility I showed up for my appointment and was told that the appointment was actually scheduled for the St. John's location. I went over there (now late to my scheduled time ) and they told me to sit and wait. I waited for about 30 minutes and then was called to the desk and told that because I was late for my scheduled time (the guy that called confirmed twice that my appointment was at the Solar Drive location ) that they would have to reschedule me again. I walked out completely frustrated and scheduled my MRI at a different company. I recall years prior that I had a similar circumstance and was having my imaging done at Grossman. Unfortunately, Grossman was taken over by Rolling Oaks Radiology. I would not recommend this company at all. read more

The staff were very friendly and eased my mind for a 90 minute scan. Would recommend them for everyone who needs scans.

First off I'm a bit claustrophobic and was anxious about coming in here not knowing the set up so I asked to take a picture in case anyone else had the same hesitation. I asked a few friends on what helped them to get through their procedure and I'm so glad I did. I brought my own essential oils and cotton rounds with me and placed them on my chest and rubbed some oil on my neck as well . Chelsea (hope I spelled her name correctly) helped me on this day and she was phenomenal with helping to ease my nerves including communicating how long each picture would take and giving me a cloth cover for my eyes . read more

Review is for the overseas phone scheduling line. To say that they completely SUCK is being really kind!!! I had a CT scan already scheduled but needed to reschedule due to chronic pain that made walking difficult today. Pain varies from day to day. So I called & just my luck I get an overseas representative (Philippines). She rescheduled the appt & I made the mistake of asking a simple question: can I do walk in X-rays at this location? She couldn't answer the question, put me on hold for 20 mins then opened the line & hung up!! I called back three times, again overseas representatives, and I got hung up on by those representatives too. The last rep literally hung up on me mid sentence as I was explaining what had happened. I've worked in a call center before (Anthem) so, yes, I say "please", "thank you", etc. I don't curse or yell. EVERY single time I have to have imaging done the default location is now owned by RadNet. Their website says they have 9,700 employees. I can honestly say that their call center reps need more training & more info as to the locations they schedule for. I'm now willing to drive out of County to find a place NOT owned by RadNet. One of the employees at the location I was scheduled at literally told me that they get a LOT of complaints about the scheduling line but was not sure what could be done about it. She suggested going to the website but, of course, there is nothing there for a complaint or a review. read more

Web site says closes at 5:00pm but just be aware x-ray closes at 4:00pm. That way you don't go.

Here is my experience with Rolling Oaks. I have orders for a standard chest x-ray. So I called Rolling Oaks, and spoke with someone who had extremely poor English but this is not the first time I've experienced something like this so I was able to communicate anyways. Basically, they told me I had to come in and wait to receive a standard x-ray. They call it a walk-in. I have done this in the past, and you are waiting for a long period of time until they have the availability to give you an x-ray. So I declined and had my orders moved it to Grossman's, which has very friendly people to speak with and has no problem scheduling you a standard x-ray appointment. Later on in the afternoon I received a text from Rolling Oaks. Here is exactly what was said; (Rolling Oaks) Hi, Steve what seems to be the issue? (Myself) My time is valuable. Rolling Oaks on the other hand does not see my concern, and will not schedule an appointment. The issue is I am not going to wait for an x-ray like waiting inline at Walmart. (Myself) By the way, do you have an online link that I can post a review about this issue? (Myself) Are you going to reply back or not? (Myself) First off it is rude to not say who you are. I am okay with an mri but have a ridiculous fear of needles. Jarrett and Kelsea made me feel so comfortable and at ease! They also kept my boyfriend updated while he was in the waiting area every step of the way. I will definitely be returning here for any future scans. read more

First time here for xrays. I was notified to schedule an appointment and did. I come in for the appointment and was told I have to come back in the afternoon when their technician is available. And that they don't take appointments. Then why was I notified and received text messages to confirm? "there's a glitch in system". I'd have to come back at 1pm. Until what time? About 3:30pm. So xrays are only available maybe Monday thru Friday and maybe within a two and a half hour window. read more

I took my dad to his appointment and the receptionist was nice. I noticed that request him to be there at 7:20 for a 7:30 appointment. Unfortunately, he was not called in at 7:30. It was much later. I saw staff coming in after his appointment and the person that called him in was one that came in after 7:30. No idea if someone called in sick and it was a last minute replacement. I found that the place was empty when we got there and he was taken in way past his appointment. Expect to wait since they're not timely. Otherwise, staff was nice. read more

The only reason they get any star at all is because the staff were nice. A huge F for infection control! Multiple staff members were maskless. My tech had a mask under her nose and told me she had cared for her mom who died of Covid. I was stuck in a room w/them for 30 minutes - very dangerous exposure for me due to being immunocompromised. No HEPA filters anywhere, poor ventilation and they refuse to provide any masks to patients or their own staff. Covid is AIRBORNE. The new variants are more contagious and more immune evasive. Medical facilities need to protect ALL patients by having ALL staff in N95s all the time, using HEPA filters to clean the air and turning away patients who wont wear masks! read more

I had a good experience at Rolling Oaks Radiology, Oxnard. I had an appointment at 2:50 and the entire mammogram process was completed by 3:20. The staff was friendly and prompt. The mammo tech, Gretchen, was professional and compassionate, explaining everything while in process. She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable, which I really appreciated. read more

I had an appointment set at a specific time. I was then called a day before to confirm my appointment for the same time. I was told to show up 20 minutes early. I sat in the waiting room 35 minutes. I asked the girl working the front desk why it is taking so long as we have been waiting for awhile. 5 minutes later the technician called me back along with another patient. I thought it was weird he called us both back. Then the technician helped the other patient and asked me to wait in another area for 25 minutes like that is suppose to make me feel better. I waited a total of 50 minutes to be seen. If I were 59 minutes late This would not be acceptable. read more

Scheduling was painful and horrendous. I was.an urgent case and it still took THREE WEEKS TO GET AN APPOINTMENT FOR AN URGENT SCAN!!! Everyone in this business except the technicians seems to hate their job and has no idea of what good customer service is in health care...you might as well be at the post office or dmv...actually, they've way better and care much more about patients...at every turn I was treated as an inconvenience and even an annoyance by the staff. Patients are the business!...not a problem or inconvenience! Is this what happens to a hospital when dignity health takes over? If you have any other options get imaging, any facilities staff is probably better than here at the hospital. The bathroom was filthy, the cat scan machine is worn and dirty. The staff and schedulers dont care and wont do amythig to go out of their way. When you ask to speak to the office manager you are transferred to a senior living facility in Santa Maria...this happens twice a day according to that facility and has been a problem for a long time...the staff didn't care about this when told...and I followed up three times with different people...every one shrugged and said they no nothing about it...and I would have to contact someone else....I expect it still happens. I'm giving up on trying to help where deaf and uncaring ears brush off doing anything outside the dots to make patients' lives easier. This business might have cared about people years ago, but it doesn't seem to care at all now...everybody that works there is just going thru the motions...what a miserable place it seems to be. Go elsewhere if you possibly can. The patient comes last here and care is poor and robotic. I'd rather go to the DMV, post office, or any business other than this one. Maybe cottage hospital(Santa Barbara) or Los Robles in Thousand Oaks have much better people....I would avoid ST. JOHNS and anywhere else except in a trauma emergency. All the best to all other patients...you will find no compassion or even common courtesy at rolling oaks radiology. Everything difficult...from scheduling to checkin to waiting and waiting and even getting results is a struggle....you cant even leave a message for the business at a location after hours...the recording tells you to call back during business hours and then hangs up on you to make sure you no that nothing will happen at your convenience...when I'm sick, I don't want to have to fight all day to get care and urgent attention. You failed rolling oaks....you failed over and over....and you demonstrated that you dont care about anything but money and insurance coverage payments read more

Very kind and helpful staff and technicians. They may be running a little behind schedule, but they take their time with each patient instead of rushing us through the process like I've experienced at other imaging centers in the area. read more
