Victoria was friendly, informative, nice, and helpful. She assisted me to the MRI machine with such patience and kindness. She made me feel comfortable asking for help. She had such a calming demeanor which helped ease my nerves. Overall Lalo and Victoria treated me with dignity and respect. They made this experience go all well. Nice outside, yet actually shocked when i walked in, seemed dirty and unkempt. No direction whatsoever, and stood in an "imaginary line" i guess, until an employee finally told me, a girl around the corner, could help me...after a good 5 minutes of standing there. Long wait & very crowded. Ended up waiting over 1 1/2 hours for an xray. They said no appointments, just walk in, so i didn't even have that option. There is a tv but its off. Waiting room cramped and dirty. I feel bad but not a good visit AT ALL. I will avoid this business in the future read more

If you do not mind waiting nearly a month for results, then this is your place. It took just 4 days shy of ONE MONTH for my results to be posted for a simple MRI. The only good thing about my entire experience, was that the tech who performed the MRI was very professional/caring. I was scheduled to have surgery and it was stated on my request that the results were needed prior to this and the date. My Dr. felt that 3 weeks prior to surgery was plenty of time. When 2 weeks went by with no results, I began the first of 3 requests for someone to get back to me regarding an issue with logging into the Portal and obtaining the results. I have had an account with Radnet for approximately 8 years and it was updated. NO ONE ever got back to me. I did receive a canned email response that told me not to submit another request and they would get back to me. After another week, I did submit another request just a few days prior to my surgery, but no one got back to me and my surgery had to move forward without the results. It was upsetting to me and my Dr. I finally received an email message that stated my results had been posted. I try to login to view the results and I receive an error message which states that I need to set up an online account. What? I have an account and I am already logged in. At the top of the page it states "Welcome Laurie." I am finally able to speak with a Supervisor who tells me that it will actually be another 4 days before I am able to view the results online. What? Why send the email about the results if I cannot view them for another 4 days. I added in that I would like to hear from someone about the problems with logging in and I also want to know why it took nearly ONE MONTH for my MRI to be read. She was not sure how long it would take for someone to get back to me, but she told me that the results SHOULD have been posted within 5-7 business days. Well that certainly didn't happen. Both my Dr. and I tried to obtain my results. I usually have everything done at UCLA or USC, but a new Dr. thought that this would save me a drive to have the test performed at a facility close to home. This was a huge mistake. I did not receive a single response to my online requests. I filled out pages of information online prior to my appt and there was more to do when I arrived. I will reach out to the BBB and the Medical Board for the State of CA to lodge a complaint. read more

Been 2 weeks and I am in massive pain and cant get my doctor or rolling oaks to release the ultrasound. Called many times and they told me they will not release the results to the ultrasound until the ultrasound doctor has released the results. So sad the world is a mess. God help me. read more

My MRI was scheduled on Friday, June 5th at 10:20. I arrived early. Around 11:30, I was called up to the front desk to inform me they were running late and it would probably be another 30 minutes. They asked if I wanted to reschedule. At that point, I'd waited over an hour - what's another 30 minutes. The MRI techs were very pleasant and seemed like they knew what they were doing. It's now Monday, June 22 and I have still not received my MRI report. I've had to cancel 2 follow-up doctor appointments due to not having the MRI report. My next appointment is tomorrow June 23. Received a call from my doctor saying that they called Rolling Oaks and they could "not" promise that the report would be available by tomorrow AM. I called last week and was told the Doctor didn't indicate "stat" on the order. It's been 11 business days. I know I have a cyst on my ovary. Due to their delay in providing a report, I've gone 11 days with no forward progress toward getting the cyst removed. Irresponsible customer service. I'll continue this review if the report is not available by my appointment in the morning. read more

If you want competent radiologists with pleasant office staff... do NOT go to Rolling Oaks Ventura!!! Oxnard techs are not that great either. Today at the Ventura location my experience was UNACCEPTABLE! Back story: On July 28th I arrived at the Oxnard location for an MRI without and with contrast for my right hand. The techs poked me so many times in the arms and finally in the veins above my left hand to set a port to prepare for contrast before even starting the imaging without contrast. (I recently had sinus surgery and could not lay face down, so I was turned on my side trying not to hit my left hand because of the port and holding still with my right hand in a casing. They did some imaging and then said that was not good, so they changed the casing and did it again. (They had taped my right-hand fingers together so to not move.) I'm lying in this machine with no communication. It was hot and stuffy and I was in there for almost an hour just for the without contrast MRI! I told them I hurt too much and was not able to proceed with the contrast MRI because my entire body hurt, my right arm was numb, and my left side was in pain along with my head from the ear cancelation head phones that I ended up needing to take off because I was having to hold my head in an uncomfortable position. After an hour, I said no to continuing. I then spoke with my doctor whose office called Rolling Oaks Ventura directly and explained that only an MRI with contrast needed to be scheduled for my hand. They agreed and scheduled the MRI with contrast only. I confirmed with Rolling Oaks Ventura that I was only getting the with contrast MRI and they said it would only take about 20 minutes. Today Wednesday, August 20, 2025, I showed up at the Ventura location 20 minutes early for my appointment and no one greeted me. They ignored that I was standing there. I said I'm here to check in and I was told to "Stand on that blue dot. Someone will be with you!" Rude!!! Then someone called me to the side. I gave my ID. Then was told to wait, so I sat down. Then moments later I got called up again. They said I would have to do the without contrast as well as the with contrast AGAIN! And that I needed a new order! I said, NO! I only needed the contrast. That was what was scheduled. And I was told it would only take 20 minutes! They argued that I needed another order that was for without contrast as well as with contrast because my MRI had been too long ago and that was their protocol. I had the without contrast on July 28th! Obviously, they didn't know what they were talking about. Very incompetent staff! I asked to speak with the manager. Conveniently, she had just left. I didn't believe them. They gave me the name of the manager and her phone number. By this time another guy came out and stared at me with his hands on his hips. I asked who he was and he said I'm the x-ray tech. (What a group.) I've called and left two messages complaining and stating how unacceptable my experience was today and shame on them! I doubt that I will hear back from anyone. I can tell you this, I will not be going to Rolling Oaks Radiology again. I've already spoken with my insurance carrier and have a list of other MRI, CT, X-ray facilities other than Rolling Oaks. Get your act together Ventura! Oxnard, you need help too. Update: Wednesday, August 20th about 5pm, Susie, the office manager from Ventura, did return my phone call and apologized. I appreciated that she did actually return my calls; however, the experience still happened and I did not get my MRI because of the staff being wrong. She confirmed that I should have been able to get my MRI with contrast with out needing to get the series of imaging without again, but that they do usually take one image without contrast and then start with contrast. She assured me that she would address these issues and offered to reschedule with another location if I like or just get a copy of my cd of the original without contrast MRI. It's difficult enough to have medical issues without being treated the way I was today, but I do appreciate that Susie returned my phone calls. read more

Note: This is a review of the front office staff of the women's health (mammogram) front office staff only. The general front office staff downstairs were great: friendly, smiled, looked at you when speaking. The woman in the front office on the 2nd floor (for mammograms) is so rude I am actually sitting here in the waiting room writing this review just to feel better. She does not look up from her computer when speaking to me. No smile, no eye contact, nothing. She just gives me orders without even looking at me or taking her eyes off the computer. Gives me paperwork, takes my paperwork and nothing. No "Someone will be out to get you in just a moment" or anything. While I sit here, one of her co-workers comes by to talk to her and they sit and laugh and talk so I know she can be personable yet chooses not to. Meanwhile, one of the x-ray techs - the one who does the bone density - makes a call from an alcove near the reception desk and proceeds to give a patient's personal info and history while the whole waiting room can hear. She stated the patient's name and read her responses to her questionnaire. This has got to be a HIPPA violation. I'm still waiting because I need the mammogram, but this place is awful. I am so bummed Suggestion: Have upper management, someone they do not know, go in for bone density and mammogram as a patient. Or have reception give patients a customer service card to leave in a box when they leave. read more

If I could write a hundred negative reviews I would. 1 star is generous. Constant issues with scheduling. Cancelled appointments. Appointments made at sites that don't have the right equipment. Terrible customer service. On phone for 30 minutes to make one or two appointments. This lovely experience never seems to end with them :( Unfortunately not many other options from Rolling Oaks in the area. Attn: Rolling oaks management: PLEASE fix your issues!!! Following this experience, I must state that I will not be scheduling any further appointments at any of their locations. I arrived at 6:45 p.m. for my scheduled 7:00 p.m. appointment and was not seen until after 9:00 p.m.; this delay is entirely unsatisfactory. Due to the high volume of patients in the waiting area, I was required to wait in my vehicle for two hours before receiving notification via text message that my appointment was ready. The fact that they do not value their patients' time is extremely unprofessional. It is evident that I perceive my time to be of equal value to others, despite their differing perspective. To ensure the timely execution of appointments, it is imperative to maintain adequate staffing levels. Therefore, scheduling practices should be adjusted to reflect available resources. read more

If you need an ultrasound done, they will schedule you and call you a few days later saying you were either double booked, or the ultrasound tech is not in that day, or that you were scheduled in a room that doesnt do ultrasounds. Then they will reschedule you for two to three weeks after your initial scheduled date. This has happened to me three times with rolling oaks radiology. It is unacceptable. They say they do more mammograms now than ultrasounds. Their schedulers are not in house and are not reliable. read more

If I could I'd make this 0 stars. when I got on the phone with them to schedule my appointment 10 days ago they told me I had to get it approved in 1-2 business days (I didn't need the approval since it was STAT & I even called my insurance to double check). I called 5 business days later & it still was not approved which come to find out somebody at rolling oaks radiology cancelled my order for no reason listed & nobody told me. They then wouldn't schedule me until their medical team determined if it was medically necessary like if my doctor ordered it just cause he felt like it. When I finally get the appointment after two weeks they tell me they had no idea about my allergy even though my doctors office called an hour prior to my appointment to get confirmation that I can still get the scan done.. they said yes. My doctors office sent over a fax two weeks ago which on the order it clearly states I have an allergy to CT contrast & would take medicine prior & they confirmed the fax but according to rolling oaks staff my doctors office never called & they never received a fax. The front desk lady had an attitude. Granted I was really upset & might have had a tone. I was tearing up I was so upset. She tried explaining that STAT doesn't mean as soon as possible even though it does mean that (I'm in healthcare). She then said the closest available appointment was next week at a different location. I ended up calling my doctors office about it & the nurse called them and there magically was an appointment this week at their location, she just didn't want to schedule me for the closest available appointment since it was at their location. Why do I have to call my doctor's office to make an appointment with rolling Oaks & why are they lying? They seem to not do their job or mess up then lie & try to blame everyone else but themselves. read more

Terrifying experience. I encountered an issue with my appointment scheduling and when talking with the office manager about my issue, he lost patience with me, told me he heard I had been a little bitch since the minute I walked into the office and that I should get the f*** out of his office. He repeatedly told me to get the f*** of his office. Then he opened his door, and continued his verbal assault on me from the hallway. In front of the entire office staff and all of the patients waiting for their appointments. His boss had to intervene, tell him to stop yelling at me, and return to his office. Low quality of care & disorganized staff . Scheduling does not communicate with the location directly so every appointment is a wild goose chase to find out what needs to be done. And the cherry on top is that the actual location allows the mri technicians to determine if the test called in by the doctor or surgeon is appropriate. I'm unsure of how a mri tech is somehow more qualified to determine appropriateness than a licensed medical doctor. And lastly, there are so many angry patients all showing up for prescheduled appointments and then given the run around. So it a hostile place read more

Like many of the other bad reviews listed, I had a very uncomfortable experience. When I walked in I was immediately greeted, or should I say interrogated why I was there. After beginning the check in process, the receptionist did not fail to tell me that I did not schedule my appointment right. This is because I have called and left multiple messages over the last week and have not gotten a single answer or call back. Then the gentleman who did my X rays, was not welcoming at all, and was carrying himself in a way in which you could tell he did not want to be there, and to be honest, by then I didn't either. I proceeded to change into the clothes they gave me, and instead of feeling comfortable with my medical process, I felt more like a doll that a little girl was positioning for her tea party, and not much like a person. It's better now - you can actually make an appointment for an Xray. Today I got right in after a short wait. I was delighted. The staff are professional, proficient, and polite. They take good care of you. I think they need another manager, though. I'm not seeing any joy here - just getting the job done. There are a lot of healthcare settings where the workers are just full of joy - like Cedars Sinai hospital. It takes a good manager to create a workplace environment that nurtures that kind of thing. Yeah, this place has "bad management" written all over it. That's where the fifth star dropped off. Good parking. Here's a tip. They should send you a text when they get your referral. Use the link. This place is a nightmare. I went in for a walk in for X-rays and they wouldn't allow me to walk in for my specific exam, even though I was already fasting. So I'm given an appointment for two days later (which I was okay with, still enough time before my surgery for my doc to get results). The night before at 4:33pm I receive a text message that my appointment is postponed to over 3 weeks later, well after my surgery date. Note: I went in with an order for this exam MONTHS ago, and the technician read the order wrong and did not complete the correct x-ray, so this could have been avoided months ago. I try calling the facility back, no answers. I try calling RadNet scheduling, there are no appointments in all of Ventura County for this before the appointment they gave me. RadNet employee also lacked any sort of compassion, never apologized for the inconvenience, didn't even look into other locations, I had to ask him to. And when he did, he sighed as if I was asking too much of him. Absolutely rude. This has put me into a nightmare, and it's now past 5pm, so I can't find another facility until tomorrow, which means less time to figure out this mess and hopefully get the test I need before my surgery. I took time off work in which I lost money, was almost 1 hour into my drive there when they called to cancel. It's hard for me to even get time off--I had to ask 6 weeks in advance lol. Customer service is horrible. Have had the worst experience just trying to set up a MRI scan. Was referred to rolling oaks by my specialist. When calling rolling oak was told that I needed a pre authorization from insurance. Was told that there verification team would get in contact with my insurance to get the approval. Fast forward a two weeks of multiple calls and am still being told nothing had been received. Called my insurance and was told they never received a call or any request by approval from rolling oaks. Have called rolling oaks multiple times to see the status and keep getting the same response that I still have to wait for an approval. Stay away!!! read more

I went to Rolling Oaks Ventura for a CT scan 2 plus weeks ago. I will start with the only positive of the experience.. The CT tech was amazing! I wish I could remember his name. He was kind and explained everything step by step. Extremely professional. Now for the negative. I was told to arrive an hour early for a 7am apt. I arrived at 6am and sat there until my 7am appt time. So being there at 6 had no purpose whatsoever.Secondly they originally said the report would be available in 4-5 days. After 7 days, I called, and was told that it was taking closer to 10 days. Now I'm at almost three weeks with no results. My doctor has called and even put a rush on the report, and still nothing. This completely unprofessional and no explanation has been given. Despite the professionalism and kindness of the tech, I will never return to this facility. read more
