I've been in for two separate visits. Booking by phone was easy and appointment availability was plenty. The front desk staff is friendly and gets you checked in quickly. I waited no longer than five minutes for each appointment. The technicians were lovely and explained everything throughout my visit. I also appreciated the text reminders of appointments. The lot can get busy with the surrounding businesses, but there is plenty of parking. read more

They may have a good medical team, but they fail on process - the customer interface is excurciatingly "slow and clunky." They really need to join the 21st century and the digital age. Everything takes forever and if you want your report, you have to physically go there to get it. Please invest in a modicum of technology - it isn't that expensive - and set up a portal so your person at the desk does not have to put you on hold everytime you call as she is overloaded with stuff that can easily be handled on line. read more

There was a mixup with my appointment time even after I had called that morning to double check, made child care arrangements and drove the two hours. Instead of being apologetic the front desk person told me that she had nothing to do with it and gave me the card for the office manager. I called the office manager and the person who transferred the call hung up on me two times in a row so I was never able to leave a message. I have received services at both locations and the technicians are great but the front desk team would benefit from some customer service training and customer care. read more

I was blown away by a few things with my visit to TO Radiology. 1) the ability to get me in for an ultrasound within 24 hrs compared to 3 months with UCLA 2) the support I got from the staff today during my appointment. I was dealing with a lot today... and they were so helpful. and 3) the Quality of the care today... treating me like the human I am, and also it was efficient, clean and felt thorough. I called multiple facilities to schedule an MRI. TO Radiology had the best customer service by far. I spoke to three different people to schedule my appointment and deal with insurance. Each one was kind and helpful. My appointment started right on time despite being an afternoon appointment. Both radiology technicians who worked with me were friendly, patient, reassuring and kind. They made sure I was comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets. These things make a big difference when you are nervous and uncomfortable. The MRI machine, while small (as usual) had cool air blowing inside, which made it more comfortable. Dr. Klein was also involved in part of my procedure. He was respectful and methodical and did an excellent job minimizing my discomfort. read more

Came here for an ultra sound out of an abundance of caution from a small lump. Place was clean, which is to be expected and why they're getting a couple of stars. And they got the job done. But desk staff were a combination of rude and stupid. Especially in a setting where people are getting scans done and possibly have serious ailments, a smile and some kindness goes a long way. If I could give this establishment a zero, I would! This week, I tried canceling an upcoming appointment due to schedule conflicts. Twice I called, I was put on hold for over 15 minutes. The second time I called, the office lady asked if I could be put on hold. I quickly said no and explained I had already been on hold for a long period of time and that I just needed to cancel an appointment. Without explanation, I was quickly put on hold a second time! I am BEYOND frustrated with the quality of service of this office. If they try and send me a bill for failing to show up next week, I will not be paying it! I got a mammogram for a medical study that I find out I don't qualify for, the study paid for this mammogram here..Thousand Oaks radiology called me saying I need an ultra sound on my right breast. I asked who will cover this, they said either my ins or out of pocket. Well they don't take my ins. So I asked to have the records sent to me, they refused saying I can come pick them up..I live almost an hr away and again asked to have them sent to me, refused again. They are my records, can you send them to my doctor, NO. So apparently they saw something yet refuse to send me my results. This is 1000% wrong. If I have cancer or some abnormality then send me my records, it was concerning enough for them to call me. Unless they are trying to scam more $$ and when they found out my ins its not so concerning? read more

We're avoiding. Our insurance company could not verify they were in network even though TO Radiology said they were. Left a message for Adam, office manager, to email us confirmation that we would not be balance billed beyond our co-insurance. Crickets. Never called or emailed. The billing issue reviews here led me to take this action. Quickly found an alternative a few miles away and they are located within the Four Seasons Hotel. Free valet parking and highly rated to boot. Even better ... our insurance company verified this alternate provider IS IN NETWORK. Called to explain the reason for canceling with the receptionist and she could care less. Personally, I'm thinking we just dodged a billing nightmare. Phew!! read more

As someone who is in the public health field, this is dangerous I reported this to the manager and verified practices with the manager and front desk employees. From the moment you step in the door, you feel taken care of. The front desk was absolutely wonderful checking me in and made it very easy. The radiology technician then took me back and was so incredibly kind and personable. She made sure that I was completely comfortable before entering into the MRI machine and showed me how to notify her if I started feeling uncomfortable during the diagnostic imaging. I started using Thousand Oaks Radiology years ago and thus far ALL my patients have reported that they provide excellent services with low wait time. Absolutely useless. I came for a routine service that was fully covered by my insurance. I provided all of my insurance information (they were in network) to the office and they scanned and saved my card info. I had a service done. Instead of billing my insurance carrier - the carrier has NO RECORD of the service ever being billed or submitted to them - they sent me to collections for failure to pay a bill that I should have never received, as a fully covered procedure it was supposed to be billed to and paid by the carrier that I have repeatedly given them the contact info on. I've tried calling over 8 times, I have physically talked to them 5 times over 8 months, and they are STILL refusing to fix their billing mistake. When you try to call their billing department from the phone number that is listed on their site it's conveniently out of order, every time. You then have to wait until a weekday to talk to a receptionist who theoretically transfers you to a billing person at their office who typically is gone and rarely responds to a voicemail. Unless you want to be slammed with bills that you don't owe with ZERO HELP from them on fixing their mess, go elsewhere. read more

Their billing totally made me have a different view of this business. I got a statement, I called shortly after receiving to make a payment. I got a young gentleman on the phone and he looked up my account and said I did not owe a balance. MONTHS later, I just received a collections notice. This place sent me to collections for $100.00. Let me just say I pay all of my bills. I never ever have been sent to a collections agency. Be careful of their billing, it seems like they don't know how to tell you have a balance to pay. I have been on hold for forever this morning with them directly to figure out why they sent me to collections after telling me I don't have a balance. Longest hold time ever. read more

My doctors office called them and made an appointment for me for two specific tests. They had me scheduled for the two specific tests, as ordered over the phone by my doctor. When I got there, because they didn't have a written order for the tests--despite the fact that the appointment for those tests had been made BY MY DOCTOR, they said they couldn't take me without calling my doctor to confirm the tests they ALREADY HAD ON THE SCHEDULE. How is it that they need a second verbal confirmation from the doctor of the tests initially ordered by the doctor when the appointment was made?? I waited two weeks and took off work to be turned away by this incompetence--since they couldnt get a simple appointment right, I will not trust them with the actual testing... I will never go back there. read more

i have soooooo much to say about this place! i love the technician in the back, she is always so friendly and kind, but boy that's such a 180 from the lady's at the front desk! the one with the short hair is always SO rude for no reason, i came in for my appt, and was told i couldn't do my appt because they didn't have the order for it, even tho my doctor IN THE SAME BUILDING had already sent in the order. The lady was so rude and unhelpful, and then after getting it straightened out, i wasn't allowed to be seen and had to make a new appt. Then today at my appt, the other woman with the dark long hair got my paperwork back from me, and once i sat down in the lobby, she yells from the front desk "monique are you having breast tenderness?" i was mortified, it was so extremely unprofessional! call me back up to the desk to ask me, do NOT yell that out across the waiting room full of other people! Each time i go in here it's always such an uncomfortable and negative experience. i have to go back in for a recheck in 6 months, hopefully those two women won't be there by then. read more

Be very cautious of getting double charged at this location. I am so frustrated that I went in for simple routine procedure and I was careful to have the office staff call my insurance ahead of time to advise me of my charges and deductible. I was charged for two procedures at the tune of $453 each. They continuously told me that I only had one procedure and I should not have been charged double. Every letter and phone call went to billing to which I got no response I finally followed up with my insurance company to inform them of the double charge and before I can resolve this with my insurance company they sent the bill to collections. I will pay just to have them go away, but feel ripped off. I will not refer people here. read more

DO NOT USE THEM FOR MAMMOGRAMS. I had been a patient there for more than 15 years. I always paid extra for the higher resolution 3D mammogram. I was an RN at Los Robles Hospital. In early 2017, I had a routine mammogram and was called back a week later for further views. At that time I was seen by Dr. Monica Amantia. She told me it was calcifications and to return in six months. When I returned in August she again told me it was calcifications and to come back in six months. Since my mother had died of breast cancer, and I had had previous biopsies, I asked for a biopsy; she said it was NOT INDICATED. Unfortunately for me, I ignored my gut feeling and waited another six months. Well, by that time she decided I needed a biopsy. I HAD 4 TUMORS, THE LARGEST OVER 3CM, WHICH MADE ME STAGE 2b. I had lymphovascular invasion, which means it spread to my blood stream. I have had bilateral mastectomy but due to her poor interpretation of mammogram and refusal to biopsy I must be on medication for ten years and spend the rest of my life worrying about cancer spreading to somewhere else in my body. read more

This is a comment about the facility only. I accompanied a patient for a CT and I was not able to stay in the waiting room. Since I have asthma, I happen to be extremely sensitive to fragrance and, unfortunately, fragrance permeated the air..possibly from a fragranced plug-in/candle, etc. I had to wait in my car. It would behoove the facility to remove all fragrance from the environment and the staff for the health of the patient! read more

I needed a complete abdomen ultrasound done and this was one of the options my doctor gave me as an Imaging center. My doctor requested my abdomen to include my kidneys to be studied. Well when I called to make the appointment the girl at the front told me that I needed 2 prescriptions, one for the abdomen and one for the kidneys. I tried to explain to her that my doctor said it would cover under the complete abdomen. Well she told me I had to call the doctor and make sure they faxed both prescriptions before I got there because otherwise they would not see me and she insisted that I needed both spelled out. Well, it was crazy trying to get a hold of the doctor last minute and not to mention I was in a lot of pain. Well, when I was getting my ultrasound done, I mentioned it to the tech and she told me that she needed to apologize to me for my troubles because my doctor was correct and we only needed one prescription because a complete abdomen covers kidneys! and she would have to speak with the girl at the front. I am writing this review because this place is terrible and today I called to ask for a faxed copy of my results so that I can take it to a new doctor today and they want me to drive all the way to Thousand Oaks to pick it up! they won't fax it to me but will fax it to the doctor!
