I recently dropped in to Rolling Rock Vapor to purchase an attachment for CBD cartridges I'd purchased elsewhere (at another legal vape shop since this apparently needs clarifying for the owner) after a pen I'd had for a year or two stopped working. I use CBD to combat anxiety and I find it really helps, but I don't consider myself a connoisseur of the technology so I deferred to the employee working at 1/10/20 around 4:30 pm and their supposed "expertise" to guide me to a new pen or something similar. I'd never been to Rolling Rock Vapor, but I had a coworker praise them and their customer service positively, so I blindly trusted the employee going in. This turned out to be a mistake. I didn't have the cartridge I was using at the time in the car with me, so I explained it and asked for a pen that would work. With the employee's guidance, I purchased the YouCan Flick rainbow edition, which totaled to $42.79 after tax. I felt like he seemed unsure of what he was saying, but I didn't want to presume and hardly had enough knowledge to know myself. The employee informed me all I had to do if I took it home and it didn't work was hold on to my receipt and bring it back in the same condition with all the attachments in the box and that I would be refunded. When I went home and it didn't work, I planned to return the device the next time I was in the area. This wound up being almost two weeks later, well within the month time frame the original employee gave me. Upon entering I was told "we can exchange it, but I don't know about a return you will have to speak to the owner" by a gentleman working the CBD side of the shop. In good spirits, I said thank you and that I wasn't opposed to an exchange. I still chose to speak to the owner because of the price. I was hoping for a refund but still open to perusing their selection for something closer to what I needed. The owner was very abrupt right off the bat for no apparent reason and informed me that unless the device didn't work, he wouldn't refund OR exchange the item contradicting what two of his employees had now told me. He proceeded to go through two cartridge attachments that DIDN'T work with the device before having to put CBD oil in the empty cartridge provided manually. So not only did the device not work as I initially requested from the first employee, he saw this as enough justification that the device worked, therefore I wasn't qualified to receive a refund or even an exchange on a $42 item that HIS employee sold me incorrectly after I described the type of device I WAS looking for. Rather than being remotely understanding or hearing a word I had to say, he kept implying I surely must've purchased an illegal cartridge from "some basement" and that's why the attachment didn't work, even though he pulled down the same style cartridge I LEGALLY purchased through another vape shop in Athens and they didn't work TWICE. I'm so frustrated with the initial employee for misinformation and beyond pissed at the treatment I received from the owner. This place is super unprofessional, and the owner is incredibly rude to you if you dare to ask for the refund you were OFFERED by his employee. Not once was I warned this was a possibility, and now I'm out almost $43 for a device that is useless to me. The entire thing feels shady and I feel like I was taken advantage of. If I could give a place negative stars it would be this place, and I highly recommend you go ANYWHERE else for your CBD/vape needs. read more
