Fiumicino stay!
My husband and I stayed in this one-bedroom, ground-floor studio apartment in Fiumicino located just two blocks from the beach for two nights.
The apartment and bathroom are a little dated, but they were clean and quite spacious. However, there was limited storage and few convenient places to put our things, so we found it a bit challenging to organise our belongings and charge our devices.
There are several dining options nearby, as well as a supermarket within easy walking distance. It is also just one block from Scutum Pizzeria, which serves some of the best pizza in Italy.
The kitchen is well equipped, with a fridge-freezer, five-burner gas cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and plenty of crockery, cutlery, and glassware. We especially appreciated the cafetière/moka pot and the ground coffee provided.
There is a lovely paved patio with a washing machine and clothes rack, and it was a great spot to relax with an afternoon drink.
The owner kindly organised transfers to and from the airport for us, which was extremely helpful and made our stay even more convenient. read more
