Always amazing. I have been going to Roman's for 10 years for acupuncture and detox foot baths.

So here goes a detailed review for y'all PROS- a lot more room to mover around! Nice weigh benches and so many squat racks! Nice weight room! Upstairs has a decent amount of cardio machines. Also a smoothie station, and "healthy" snack area. Cons- no sauna. A lot of room taken up up status by the batting cages. Children and parents wonder sound the middle of the upstairs while you attempt to work out. Also a lot of room for the astro turf. This is the big claim to fame. Not as many things to do leg wise as the sun crest location I mean they have some leg stuff. I suppose they make up for it with a lot of squat racks. If you are a serious bodybuilder than you will feel at home with the space they have for you . A good place for cardio bunnies as well:-) three solid stars means when I want a good pump and want room I will wonder my way to this place. However, for now suncrest is convenient and still has EVERYTHING I NEED.

This small chain of gyms apparently use to be the gold standard in the community at one time, but…read moreunfortunately falls flat now. While it is technically a gym location(s), it lacks a lot of stuff that would justify the monthly price tag now. The facility hours at the two locations that aren't open 24/7 make it hard to get to if one has a job, leaving only one of the three locations as a viable option most of the time. The equipment there is outdated when compared to the WVU recreation center or other gyms in the area and it lacks a lot of critical machines for most programming today and the machines they do have appear to be severely worn or they may only have one or very few which can cause a wait when trying to workout. Additionally, the bathrooms were always dirty at the location that is open 24hrs, and the Mylan park location upstairs area reeked of vomit. The icing on the cake is due to these reasons I called and canceled my monthly membership. Unfortunately, due to poor employee practice they apparently never sent or told me of the cancellation form that I would have to fill out to technically cancel my membership. So they continued to charge me for three months apparently and I didn't even know about it until they turned me into collections! I tried contacting the managers and after waiting weeks, someone finally responded to me and said there is nothing they could do despite their employees never canceling my account or sending me their cancellation form. Very sad for a gym with such a presence in the community to fall so flat and have so little intelligence. Would not recommend anyone spend their money here.

The room was super clean. I was happy to see the fridge. The rooms also have microwaves. The tv was easy to use with the list of provided channels. I checked-in on line and the keys were ready when we arrived. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The room and hotel were quiet midweek. The bed was comfortable and the room was perfect temperature. I slept well and, more importantly, so did my dog. A typical hotel breakfast was served in the morning (starting at 6 a.m.). I passed on the hot offerings (eggs, potatoes and sausage) but did have a whole grain bagel. The waffles looked good. The attendant was nice. The hotel has a pool, but the water was cloudy and uninviting. The small workout center was well equipped, but smelled a bit. They could use some ventilation in these areas. I give higher points for clean comfortable room, than the amenities.

It's a very basic room. The bathtub is old. They only give you one bar of soap! The fridge is very small too. for the price difference, I would definitely stay at Home2 from now on. If you're looking for just a basic room to crash it's OK. Decent breakfast

Old, outdated, gross motel in need of refurbishing & repair…read more Pros: * $52/nt as a walk-in with AAA discount. * Fridge, microwave, reasonably comfy mattress. * Reliable WiFi... great, cuz I had to work. * Professional, very pleasant front desk staff. Cons: * The room wreaks of smoke (it is now a non-smoking motel) & MOLD (see attached pics). Had to keep the a/c or heat on high & spray 4 times with my rose room freshener to keep the room bearable. It was gross, but I drove 12-hrs & didn't want to leave & drive any further... my mistake at choosing a motel on price only. * The room was nicely cleaned (not housekeeping's fault the room is in need of repair, so leave a tip, please), but it felt gross... I slept in a sweater & sweat pants as I had to keep the a/c on screaming high to keep the horrid smell at bay. At times, I changed it to heat until the mold smell returned (only the a/c kept the smell at bay)... wasn't a pleasant stay, at all. Nearby: * Lovely liquor store, Ashebrook, just 2-mi away. Advice: * Go 1-3 exits further & find better hotels (not motels) for $40-60 more... yeah, that's a huge difference, but I would never stay here again based on the mold smell. 0* out of 5. Stay only if nothing else is available & you can't drive 2-4 mi further for a bump up in * & $ for a much better hotel.

Check-in was smooth and quick by a friendly young woman. The rest of the staff I encountered were also friendly. Room was clean, bed was fairly comfortable. TV was a snowy, but again, I was only there to rest for a night before biking first thing in the morning.

Update: you can see manager Ken's response, this hotel is way more effed up than I ever thought…read more His response is not to my issues but were for completely different room which obviously had electrical problems, lighting problems etc. This whole hotel needs to be closed down. Original post: This place is awful. I'm sorry to say that because the staff, all of them, are really nice. But the hotel itself? NO! G and I travel many months of the year- to the point that we are platinum elite with Marriott. We generally stay 5-10 nights at a location unless we are doing a layover stop. We prefer Marriotts exclusively because we know the rooms are clean and there is breakfast. Not the case here. We checked in on Tuesday night. By Wednesday evening I was having breathing and congestion issues. I didn't pay much attention as I thought it was just from being on the plane and that it would go away. In the next day or so, we started seeing issues with the room, small things that you might not notice when checking in late at night. The tub does not drain. The shower curtain has what seems to be urine on it. The showerhead cannot be adjusted even though there's lever on it to do so. It simply won't move. The shower rod is not correctly secured to the wall. The bed is ridiculous, probably many years old. There's a huge divot in the middle. Wow, can't breathe and a backache. Super fun. The window sashes are coming apart, there are screws (from the frame?) sitting on the sill. The pull rod for the blackout curtain has broken off and was laying on the sill as well. This has a kitchenette has no drinking glasses. We can deal with that stuff (except for the urine on the shower curtain) although we certainly shouldn't have to. An eight day stay is $$ and at a Marriott that garbage doesn't happen. That's off the freeway budget motel crap. We dealt with it, until today. Here's the straw that broke it for us: We had only taken showers up until this point but I wanted a nice hot bath cause I felt like crap because this bronchial issue has not subsided. The minute I sat down in the bath I saw the mold. All along the bottom of the shower curtain, underneath the soap and shampoo dishes and mixed in with the caulking. Bingo! Why am I having chest congestion? Why can't I breathe? Why am I coughing up a lung until I pee? Mold. Black mold, pink slime mold, all of it. The full gambit. Having still a couple more days to go here in West Virginia I'm done with this room, absolutely done. G went downstairs and requested a different room, no manager today because of memorial day. Guy the desk was really nice and gave us a different room. Exhausted, sweating, need a hot bath, wheezing and hacking, trying to pack up all our stuff, not fun. Well, the other room had the same effing thing with the mold!!! Oh and the shower curtain, bright blue and green spray paint or something to that effect on it. Got on the line with Platinum member services who got us the F out of here. We're going downtown to the Waterview Marriott. We filed a case with regards to the health issues and I am sure Marriott will take care of us. Seriously, the health department needs to be over here. This place needs to be shut down and CLEANED. Now, am I gonna say 100% that the mold caused this bronchial issue I'm having? I cannot. But I know based on previous experience with mold and my sensitivities to it and having this exact reaction, it's very likely. It further pisses me off that for multiple days now, I've been stuck in this toxic room and have not been able to participate in the activities which we came here for. Another thing occurred to me as we were dealing with all of this; the WVU children's trauma center is right next-door. There are helicopters dropping critical patients off night and day. Imagine, if your child was one of these and you came over here to stay in this hotel and all you wanna do is stay strong, maybe have a cry, have a hot bath and rest and you run into this BS. Not OK. Not OK. Not OK. I cannot believe this is a Marriott. UPDATE: After less than 24 hours in a new hotel, my symptoms have completely abated.

First impression, it's rather run down looking from outside, there's some nice landscaping but the hotel is directly next to a pretty dumpy apartment complex. Hotel is immediately off of a very busy street, it's convenient to get to hospital (across the street, could literally walk), however, there's a lot of road noise. Also, both mornings I was awakened by very loud jackhammering going on at the hospital - they are doing significant construction there. So, trust me, you won't be sleeping in late here! The windows are single pane, similar to apartment windows so the noise comes right through. The room I had was nice enough, a little worn and dated. Sofa was very cheap and squeaked when I sat on it. The bathtub had water sitting in it when I arrived, which was a little off putting. The bathroom needed an update, or at the least to get new caulk. Bed was not comfortable at all. Definitely one of the most uncomfortable that I've slept on at a hotel. Good points - employees were very nice, room was clean, didn't hear hotel sounds (no people talking loudly, doors slamming, etc.), close proximity to hospital and many places to grab a bite. Might stay here again but would ask to be further away from hospital side due to early morning construction.
