Also, the Mission Inn Hotel has a preferred vendor list, and by choosing vendors from that list, we were able to avoid additional vendor fees. To be honest, I initially chose Ana because she was the most affordable option on their list. But after working with her, I realized she was absolutely essential to the success of our wedding day! Ana has many years of experience in the wedding industry and is incredibly knowledgeable about every step of the process -- she even holds a minister's license. There was some rain on the way up which delayed us, and so we got started late. We gave her our paperwork and she took quite a long time to sign then insisted on a rehearsal even though we should have started 30 minutes before. The space is so small that really, no rehearsal was necessary. She also told us to take all the time we needed for pictures then came back 30 minutes later to kick us out. (So odd!) The wedding was beautiful, and that is all that matters. I just wish I had been informed about the timeline after instead of the back and forth. Keep in mind there is no bathroom on-site so use the Starbucks before you and your guests get there. Our 1920s wedding was beautiful and special and I appreciate that Reverend Carline took the time to make sure our Vows were exactly what we wanted. It was very special to join together as a family officially. While we had 10 guests, the space could have fit approximately 20 inside if you don't mind sitting shoulder to shoulder.
