THEFT. It's a shame I have to post this because I really enjoyed going here. But even if they steal a few quarters out of my tray that is enough for me to stop. They have broken my trust as a car wash customer. I took in two cars in the same day. The first car was my car. I stash all my quarters aside for parking meters. When I got my car back I noticed the quarters were moved to the cup holder, with the rest of the change, but half of the quarters were missing. The second car - my wife's car. I counted exactly $3.26 in change, all quarters and two pennys, and when I got the car back it only had $2.52. This is petty but makes me really uncomfortable knowing they are possibly going through my things looking for something valuable to take. I talked with the owner and he apologized but did NOT offer any kind of a refund or reimbursement. read more

Terrible job! Employees seem like total creeps. Vacuum job was horrible; grass all over the place. "Armor-all interior" seemed more like oil slabbed all over the place and not wiped or rubbed evenly. Job done quickly, so maybe that explains the lack of attention to detail. bummer in the summer-- definitely would not go back! read more

This is a good car wash. Everybody's friendly and your car gets done quickly. (Within 15 minutes I was in and out.)

A bottle of cologne went missing from my back seat at this place. A call to the business went no where, no attempt to obtain my information just in case it was removed by accident, to top it off the car wash was mediocre. read more

I usually don't write reveiws but it has to come out.I can't even understand how this place is open. They do a horrible job! I don't know if it's the lack of training or customer services or both. I paid for there "Royal wash" which includes armoral. The outside looks ok. They actually got all the water this time. But the inside is a different story. There is still alot of debris and dust everywhere. I guess they think just because they armoral all it, it will hide everything. WRONG! The dash had huge streaks of armoral everywhere, on the windows, on the windshield, on the side mirrors. To top it all off they put armoral all over the steering wheel and pedals. Do they not know this is a huge safety risk? So people beware. If your in a hurry, save your hard earned money and go somewhere else! read more

This is the second time I go to the his car wash and pay for the expensive car wash to have my car washed inside and out, as well as my tires and armoall, I should of learned the first time. The guys are to focused on getting the cars in to lower the wait time, and in the process end up doing a shitty job. Spots on the window, the grill, the inside is dusty as fuck. Worse experience at a car wash ever in my life. Took my brand new car only to get washed and armorial to exterior. And the guy forgot I had to remind him after thinking everything thing was fine 5 mins I find my car was keyed. I return back to the car wash and speak to Ed and Mike who would only defend and denied any responsibility for what occurred. STAY AWAY if you have a car with value a very unprofessional bussiness that thinks it's ok to not entreat it's customers. DONT GO HERE unless you don't care what happens. I let the manager mike know I was going to write about my horrible experience and he says go head I don't care. I said have you seen your yelp reviews YES. I want to like this place but the lack of customer service and attention to detail makes me not want to return to this place. I've been here 3-4 times hoping that each future visit will be better than the last. No one has a smile on their face, and everyone looks like they hate being there. After the wash, they just quick dry the car and move on...they don't even clean the inside of the windows. Once they're done they literally walk away, they don't notify the owner of the car that they're done. All times I've been there they walk away with the keys in the ignition, the door wide open and unsupervised because the moved on. Not coming back. read more

The short guy at Rubios Tire shop on state street off of 4th avenue charges me $17 for a beautiful inside out car wash...He just takes a few hours to do which I was in a rush today...The $17 at Romeos included vaccum and "wipe" off dashboard which they always wipe except one area so u would notice the rag "was there"...Too much money being charged for a quick wam bam thank you ma'am... read more

They didn't wash my car right it still has dirt marks in plane sight it is very annoying that they do this for a living and can't even do it right the wash was fast if they took their time it would have been better but they just want to do it fast to get to the next car read more

I mean.. it's a Automatic Carwash, dried by Hand, with the staff acting in Homo erotic ways to blow off some steam.. doubt they make more that minimum wage, but there is an anonymous tip jar so it can be divided up and everyone can take they $ 0.87 cents home. As an Imperial Valley resident, I pride myself in patronizing local businesses as much as possible. Romeo's Car Wash in El Centro (CA) was, and I stress the word WAS, one of those businesses. I'd been a patron of this car wash for many years, not necessarily as a "regular" but I would frequent it quite often, and until today I'd NEVER had any complaints regarding the customer service of the staff or the quality of the work performed. All that changed today when I decided to get my car washed on my lunch break and decided to go to Romeo's. After my car was vacuumed and washed I was informed my vehicle was ready to go so I get in only to find my key broken in the ignition (the actual key had become dislodged from the attached remote)! Naturally I freaked out and went into the office to speak to a member of management about the situation and his response was that "I drive a cheap car that had a cheap key." Granted I don't drive a luxury vehicle, as much as I wish I did, I drive a 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse, which I feel is a reasonable car, and plus I drive what I can afford in these tough economic times. The "manager" also continued with stating that this was a "frequent problem/complaint with/from Mitsubishi owners." Now I'm no business owner, but I'd think that if this were a frequent issue at my establishment, I'd implement some sort of informational session for my employees emphasizing special care when handling specific makes and models of vehicles. I was very upset that this guy just brushed me off as if I weren't a paying customer of his establishment. I wasn't expecting any monetary compensation, but a simple "Sir I'm sorry this happened..." would have sufficed! Now I'm stuck with a dreaded unnecessary expense of replacing my car key ($257.67 to be exact). It is because of this that I choose no longer patronize this establishment and due to the lack of customer service in this particular situation and I will also suggesting to all my friends and family to do the same. read more

Simply put, this place does everything it can to cut corners. Sure, you're in and out quickly, but is that always a good thing? They are so focused on getting you out of there, they do a mediocre job at getting things done right. Every single time I've ever had my truck washed here I leave disappointed and am witness to almost every customer letting them know they've missed something. The owners are pretty jerky too. Just today I asked the "owner" if he could make sure they brush my tonneau cover (I ask the guys outside every time and they never do it) and he said it wasn't necessary because the machine would clean it. I let him know the machine doesn't do a good job getting all the dirt off and that the brush works a lot better; he literally said, "I don't see how that's possible, the machine is much better. It's not necessary." So I said, "Well, it always looks dirty when I leave here." He shrugged it off and said, "That doesn't make any sense, sorry." What horrible customer service. He LITERALLY just needed to tell the guy to scrub the cover with his brush before heading into the machine. Instead he wasted his words/time telling me (the customer) I'm full of it. THE WORST "CARWASH" in the valley! I should have read the previous reviews before taking my car here. I got the " Deluxe" car wash( $21), I payed and 10 min later my car was ready. I was about to get in my car when I saw the inside... they did not vacuum the inside at all, I had dust in the dashboard, I check outside and I had all the mosquitoes in the front bumper from being on the road.. STILL THERE! There was a scratch on the hood from the nasty ass rag they used, my mirrors were dirty, I had water dripping from the trunk. It was a mess! I had to ask them to vacuum and so they did. I went home really mad and decided to call because honestly it was unacceptable to pay that amount for such mediocre service, the guy in charge was nice and told me to take the car in again And he would take care of it. I went back 2 hours later and they vacuumed again, took the dust off and told me it was ready... I was livid ! The mosquitoes were still there and the windows were horrible I didn't ask them to keep cleaning because I didn't want them to keep scratching my car or ask for more than they can obviously do. I just got on my car and left. TO THE OWNER: either lower your prices to something more mediocre like the service you offer, or get people who know what they are doing. read more

My husband took his truck here to get washed and vacuumed and had a twelve pack of beers stolen from it. When we called to let the owner know, he kept defending his workers saying they would never do such a thing. Needless to say they have forever lost our business and we are thankful we found out about the sticky hands situation at Romeos with a twelve pack of beers and not something more expensive. Apart from this, their car washes were never good anyways. I've had them chip paint off our side mirrors, and miss spots everywhere. They clean the inside of your cars with dirty rags that they have used on the outside of other cars as well. read more

Dirty Towels used to clean the car, Employees were rude, confrontational, and overall had lousy attitudes and the owner was rude as well, save your money and do not go to this place, I will never go back again ever. read more
