Romo did a partial roof replacement and also replaced 2 dormer windows. The repairs were necessary because the original builder did a very poor job with the dormers and we got substantial water during Beryl. They did a great job evaluating what had to be done and were very efficient in getting it done, all while maintaining excellent communication with us. Romo Remodeling did our kitchen renovation. Jorge was fantastic to work with. Friendly. Responsive via text. Flexible. Knowledgeable. He stopped by often throughout the renovation, and even did some of the work himself. I felt like he was involved and cared about our project, even though he had other projects going on. I was referred to him by an interior designer. I asked for references and proof of insurance at the beginning, and he provided all the information quickly. Jonne, the project manager, was approachable. He and Manuel stopped by whenever subcontractors were here. They also did a good chunk of grunt work - from hauling off debris, to removing our old fridge, to putting in kitchen hardware. I had no issues with the subcontractors. Juan was a beast and tore out a wall like the Hulk. He actually came back last week for a separate project (to install our new front door.) Steve, the electrician, provided good guidance when I wasn't sure what kind of light color to go with. The backsplash guy was fast. Julio, the carpenter/painter/electrician was very polite, clean and even swept up after himself outside. He later came back to fix unrelated electrical issues. When we had issues with some other painters (cabinets), Jorge got it fixed ASAP. The cleaners at the end was appreciated and a very nice touch. And of course, I was very happy with the finished product. The entire kitchen remodel took about two months. The only thing left is one finicky cabinet that's providing a bit of trouble, but Jorge told us he'll get it fixed. If you're looking to remodel, I would definitely recommend Romo Remodeling! It's nice to have a good finished product, but it's even better when the people who make it happen are great. read more
