Ron Jon Surf Shop is an OG of Pier Park and lines the Front Beach Road portion of the massive shopping complex. I have popped in and out of Ron Jon's many times over the years and walked out with solid apparel on numerous occasions. The store is fairly large, well kept, organized, clean and easy to navigate with sections clearly defined. In addition to a wide variety of apparel consisting of all the well known beach/outdoor brands, they have a plethora of Ron Jon specific items from shorts, shirts, hats and more. Additionally, as expected, they have a corner of the store dedicated to all things surfing and skateboarding. This area offers a solid selection of pre-fab boards along with skim boards and boogie boards. And of course all the accessories that go along with it. Prices are fair and surprisingly so given the name brand and location in Pier Park. The store offers a great photo op with surfboards at their front entrance, but if you are already in Pier Park, you can access the store via a back entrance as well. Staff are always plentiful, helpful and friendly. Overall, Ron Jon is a solid spot and always a cool place to wander through when roaming around Pier Park. read more

They had a lot of clothes to choose from and different designs! The value was ok there was a $20 shark bracelet and I did not buy it because I would be broke. Ron John surf shop is a very popular and well known surf shop and touristy chain that is found in popular beach towns. This particular location is in Panama City beach very trendy and also popular outlet mall pier park. My family and I was exploring while on our vacation and the name brand was alluring to my oldest daughter so she wanted to stop in for her Souvenir shopping. Really large location that was well stocked and upkept. Easy to navigate and had plenty of workers on standby to assist if needed. Pricing here was better than I remembered from last visits in other locations. Overall was a good experience. My oldest ended up with a shirt that she appears to like. She has wore it a few times already and it was only like $14. So not too bad at all. read more

I always get excited about Ron Jon, then I go there and leave a little flat. I mean, the store is fine - they have a lot of stuff to look at, but in the end, I never really find anything for me. They do have a large selection of various items, so take some time and go through the place. Really look around - you never know what you'll find. read more

I walked in having no idea on what I needed other than wet suits. Tom greeted me shortly after coming in the door he was very friendly and helped me find what I was looking for as well as directed me to the fitting rooms. Tristan let me in the fitting room as well as helped me with the suit, he even took the time to find a sizing book to assist me in choosing the right size for my boyfriend. I've always found something good while browsing in this shop. The staff doesn't seem to pay attention to their customers as they are on their phones a lot. The items are a little over priced; but that's to be expected in a touristy area. Update: a company representative responded, showing me the company actually does care about their customers opinions. Half of store is merchandising that simply advertises store (which I find personally annoying). They want to appear they are in skateboard business, but they aren't (only service offered was telling nearby kids to get off skateboard vs offering to sell their parents one). My husband and I were really excited to see a Ron Jon Surf Shop in PCB when we visited over the weekend! It was the only store we went into to get souvenirs. We both got several shirts. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't find my 2 year old son a shirt though. They only had one toddler boy Ron Jon shirt, but we didn't get it because it looked short and wide. They had numerous cute signature Ron Jon t-shirts in toddler sizes, but they were all girl colors. Other than that, the staff was friendly and the store had a lot of good items to choose from. Great place to get beach theamed stuff. Can be a bit pricy ESPECIALLY if you by one of their shirts with their logo on it. Do get some decals with each purchase. I love their jewelry selection and t-shirts. Always walk away with no less then $50 worth of stuff. Love to shop here. read more

I kind of see this Ron Jon more as a generic gift store instead of the others that I have visited. I will tell you this, the employee that we spoke to was very friendly. I was really happy to see a Ron Jon upon my first trip to Panama City Beach. It is tiny compared to the one in Cocoa Beach, which I love because it just has SO MUCH STUFF, so obviously the selection is not as great. However, there are far fewer tourists, which in a way now makes it my preferred location. The last time I came in here, one of the younger gentlemen working was apparently bored and decided to talk to me about how bored he was while I was trying to shop. For the most part though, the staff is appropriately friendly and tends to leave you alone, and I appreciate that. Most things in here are pricey, which is typical of a beach tourist trap so one can't really complain about that, but there are often some pretty good, reasonably-priced finds. Husband makes fun of me because no matter how often we visit PCB, I have to go check out the sale rack. read more

nice place but, the 33" 20$ boogie boards were fun colored but very faulty. the first one i got, the black piece at the top fell out. now, when i went to exchange they were very nice and let me exchange, so service is nice, but the 33" boogie boards are of low quality. read more

The customer service here is so beyond bad, I don't even know where to start. It took 10 minutes of standing at the register before anyone showed up. After I made my purchase and was walking to the door, I found something else to buy. I turned right around and headed back to the register. The cashier was gone. I found him folding shirts a few feet away where I was informed that I needed to go to the other register in the back. At that point, the back register had 9 people in line. 9!! So I stood in that line for what seemed like forever while I watched Mr.Lazy fold the same shirt over and over again. When I finally got to the register, the zombie like cashier didn't say one word to me. Nothing. It was so strange. I wondered if she was a mute. I visited on Sat 10/17 in the middle of the day.
