To say we were not disappointed is an understatement; we were stunned at how enjoyable the experience was. Everything.. EVERYTHING about this place is wonderful. Service was very attentive, friendly and helpful (and our waitress had only been working there 1 month.) The overall ambiance was stimulating and captivating. Stimulating because the music Powerhouse 60s hits from Ray Charles, Tom Jones, the Beatles and more was a *perfect* choice to enjoy yet not disrupt quiet conversation. Stimulating because the decor was so unique and interesting. And because just the vibe of everyone in there really enjoying themselves was palpable. What about the food you say? Every ingredient of all 4 different taco choices we made was wonderful; fresh, tasty and well prepared and presented. It's not very close to us but we are already excitedly figuring out when we can get back there - and I'm confident we are going to become regulars. It's a small place so going at peak meal hours might risk waiting. They have about 10 tables as well as another 8 or 10 stools at the bar. We did not drink so cannot review that aspect. We were told the place had come under new management in the last few months. As well as that place seemed to be functioning, we would never have guessed that. PS I didn't know until we ordered that they were giving free tacos to veterans, so that's a really cool mark on their patriotism and sense of community. PS 2 Small warning: The bench seats at the east (entrance) wall cut off circulation in my legs.

Got a seat at the bar and ordered a NA mojito and it was delicious, and also at only $5 I appreciated the price- sometimes NA drinks are as much as the full alcohol kind. Great attentive service and friendly chats with the employees. I went with the nachos which were SOOO good. Nachos are one of mh favorite foods, so I know good nachos- especially loved the pickled onions and that there were tons of toppings. My friend got two tacos with beef- can't remember the exact kinds but he enjoyed them. Such a great spot and will be back.

Went to new Huber Heights location for dinner. Food took 35 minutes after order was place…read more Waitress brought me 1/2 of my order and 1/2 of my husband's order all on one plate that she thought was for me. (His cornbread and side of beans was on my plate)(his only request). Water taste like terrible tap water. Green beans were not tasty at all. Waitress said there was no meat in them when I asked, but there was meat in it when it arrived at my table. Jerk chicken on the menu says "over a bed of rice", well there was more meat than there was rice. Highly disproportionate. Not to mention my chicken bits were not "OVER" rice. I got 2 small lines of rice on either SIDE of the overly seasoned chicken bits in the middle of the plate. More rice please... please? The $4.25 child size slice of pie was no where near close to an edible sweet potato. It came out dark brown. A sweet potato is orange? Menu says "happy hour prices"... but no time was shown for happy hour ‍ It also says they open at 11am but the waitress was heard telling customers they open at noon. they do open for breakfast. Or is it brunch?? Ehh who knows. AT LEAST TELL US FOOD WILL TAKE 30+ minutes to come out. Manager needed to recognize the cook needed help instead of yapping for 20 minutes. Grand opening in Huber is next week..... a LOT of work is still needed!

If you're looking for great hot food, cooked to order, and an attentive staff that is happy to see you there, at a reasonable price, this is your place. She had the special of the day, the breaded pork tenderloin for $5. She says it is now her "place for tenderloin". It was thick and flavorful. I had the catfish sandwich which was hot, ample, cooked just right. I must warn you. It is off a mini mart/gas station, where you have to go to buy the beverage of your choice to drink with your meal. Hey, I said it wasn't fancy! But it is well worth the drive for a great meal!
