The couch cushion had multiple pulls within a week of purchase. I went to the store multiple times, sent multiple emails with a dozen photos attached. Zero assistance and zero accountability. I will never go back - except at some point when I return their crappy couch and go dump it in front of their door some night.... What a trash store, and a trash company.

After watching a movie at Cineplex, I was seeking a place to have dinner. This Petro-Canada gas station was to my right. Gas was at 104.9. CHUM FM? I had to check that it wasn't a mirage! Most gas stations in Winnipeg today had gas at around 134.9. I was shocked to see it so cheap here, without any lineups. Yay! I pulled into the gas station and found an available pump. I inserted my Petro-Points card and then my five-cent-per-litre savings card. I tapped my credit card and away I fuelled. This gas station has a car wash with two vacuums and an air pump. Everything requires payment to use them. I did handsfree fuelling and I cleaned my windshield. It was great. I then cleaned my hands and used the paper towel at the station. I'm pleased that I found this gas station. I appreciate the price drop and how seamless it was to fuel my vehicle. (224)

Canadian Appliance Source raved about this brand and highly recommended them to us. We have had issues with all three Forno appliances. The dishwasher never worked from the start and Forno told us they felt the best course of action was to replace it, not repair it. They had us snip the lines and scratch out the serial number. The new dishwasher never arrived and they would not respond with an update on where it is. We then asked Canadian Appliance Source to step in and help us, and they would not assist us in any way. We are left without a dishwasher, our oven fan motor right from very first use makes a loud screeching sound, and the fridge sounds like an airplane taking off. We asked Forno to send a technician to check out the sound of the oven to ensure its safe for use and to fix the issue. No response. We own a renovation company and have never seen appliances behave in this way. Since we didnt get anywhere with Forno, we asked Canadian Appliance Source for at least a partial refund or for replacement with a different brand. We also bought the extended warranty, which obviously was just as much of a waste of money. They said no to a partial refund and no to replacement with a different brand. These appliances have only been installed for a month and had issues from the very first use. We paid for the extended warranty across all five appliances, amounting to $1,430, which was obviously a waste of money. We currently have no dishwasher ($1,050), and the stove was $1,620.99, and we don't have a resolution on that issue either. We will be consulting a lawyer.

I went into sleep country on Kenaston with my wife last week at 8PM. The store was closing at 9, and it looked as it had been a very busy day in the store. The store and especially the bathrooms were a bit dirty, but this was black Friday so I imagine that there was not a lot of time to clean up. We were met by Louise Zhang. She walked us around the store gave us some time to ourselves. By 9:05, 5 minutes after the store closed we ended up with a brand new adjustable Tempur-pedic bed. These bed's are fully adjustable and can go over 8 Grand depending on mattress and size. We opted for a queen which with discount came to over four grand. Not a small price to pay for a bed, but hey if you are not going to spend good money on a bed then where are you going to spend it. Louise was just a joy to work with and is probably underemployed. Her attention to detail was incredible especially considering she was overtime on her shift. The bed was delivered a few short days later and the guys popped it into my existing bed surround. They were quite professional as well, however they did smell of smoke. They did a really good job and were in and out. Old bed and all packaging was taken away. Thus far the Tempur-pedic adjustable bed was worth every penny. The bed just oozes quality, and I am looking forward to sleeping on it for a very long time. I was very pleased with sleep country, Louise, the delivery guys. All and all 5 star experience!

We have dealt in Winnipeg at the Unicity Store and have always enjoyed excellent service. Our latest experience however, was less than exemplary. The salespeople were OK but less accommodating than our prior experiences, but the big issue was delivery. They sent a third party (moving company) who had no idea how to set up the bed (lifestyle) or to properly attach the headboard. They eventually got it useable but left a few parts behind, not knowing where they went and being in a big rush to get to the next delivery having spent nearly 3 hours with us. We called for assistance and got a second appointment to complete the installation, specifically requesting Sleep Country personnel who knew what they were doing but the same moving company showed up. We were hesitant to let them in. They were better than the first pair but still not expert with the bed and took a while to figure it out. All in all unprofessional, not the "white glove" service we were promised, no "booties" to protect your floors and so on. Product is good but we'll shop around next time.
