At different times, old injuries pop up to haunt me. I have had back pain, neck pain, rib stabbing me, shoulders out of joint, hips out of joint, knee issues and foot pain. Not all at once! This time, it was mainly numbness and tingling in my fingers and wrist, plus knee and foot issues. Research told me that the practitioner I needed had to know a procedure called ART. (Advanced Release Technique.) I didn't even know a chiropractor would do this. But through searching for someone who does ART, I found Dr. Brian. He's REALLY good at this technique, plus gives excellent adjustments. Some chiropractors have struggled to adjust me, saying I have tight muscles but loose ligaments (or vice versa) but Dr. Brian has no problem adjusting me. And he has now done some ART on every part of my body. I am enjoying much less pain and, just as important, much more function. I can do the physical activities that are fun for me again. To me that is only relieving the problem for a short period of time, prolonging possible injury or destruction of the tissues and bone and not preventing or healing the body for years to come. Dr. Schmidt has shown me how to fix, prevent and maintain my neurological, muscular, and spinal problems. Just a month ago I developed severe neck pain, upper back pain, right arm numbness and stiff muscles that I could not lift my arm elbow high or turn my neck. After several days of having this pain I was referred to Dr. Schmidt by a co-worker of mine. I am 24 years old and would say that I have always been in relative good health; I have a very active job, never had any surgeries or major illness and overall thought my body was good and healthy. I shortly learned how much of a mess my body was and could not believe it. The initial therapies with him resulted in some improvement, but regrettably, the progress was short-lived. I decided to put my Nucca treatments on hold, so I contacted Dr. Erhardt to inquire about receiving a refund for the remaining balance on my account. He agreed. The credit was promised, but months passed with a series of excuses. It would have been nice if he had been honest and transparent with his refund policy. Despite not getting a refund, I proceeded to see him, as the adjustments provided some relief. I also wanted to continue because I had recently purchased a package. The moment that made me realize he lacked compassion was when I reached out to him about my back pain. I wanted to see him for an adjustment before leaving for out of town. I reached out via text to inquire about scheduling an appointment. He replied, "You were in alignment yesterday. I don't think you will be out today unless you messed yourself up." I brought up this text to him in December 2023, and he dismissed it as lighthearted banter. In the same month, he suddenly ignored my attempts to see him. Update: On January 30, 2024, I received a text message from Dr. Erhardt inquiring about my well-being. Are you serious? It's been over a month without any response, and now he's contacting me. I reached out to him after he made contact, expressing my frustration about investing a whole year of care with him, only to have him suddenly stop all contact with me. He said he takes all the blame for getting distracted and failing to return my calls. I believe he contacted me because of a review I had written. A few patient reviews on his Facebook page from December 2023 show that he was not distracted. He doesn't care about my well-being, only his reputation. The appointment scheduling at Reconnection Chiropractic needs significant improvement too. I called Dr. Erhardt's office for a same-day appointment and promptly left a voicemail at 9 am on several different occasions. He would wait until the end of the day and text me a sudden response, saying he had an appointment in twenty minutes. This would require me to drop everything and quickly rush from St. Paul to Woodbury. I found this very stressful. Looking back at my time with Dr. Aaron, it's clear that he had no intention of continuing the doctor-patient relationship with me and wanted to make my interaction with him difficult so I would go away.
