Everything in the kitchen is donated, everyone in the facility is extremely appreciative and its a great way to give back to our community. Sometimes families are at the hospital all day and are extremely appreciative of a home cooked meal. You pick a date available and coordinate with the Ronald McDonald House. Choose a meal as a group or people can make individual dishes. They have two stoves, microwaves, island, 3 dishwashers and plenty of cooking supplies. Lunch was served at 12 so the group got there at 10 to begin preparing. Set food on the counter and families serve what they want. They recommend to cook for about 20 people. Only reason I took a star off was because a volunteer just showed the group where the kitchen was. No explanation of where things were or rules of the kitchen. Kind of figure things out yourself. Maybe they just had a busy day. Really enjoyed the experience and I plan on doing it again!
