Mainly because most locations tend to be missing something crucial..This park is multi varied - it's a park a kids park with all the jungle gym stuff it's a baseball park a soccer park a picnic park a walk park a dog on a leash park and it has extensions to other trails from 2.miles to over 8 miles.or more. In addition, it's clean and well-maintained. The people that visit are great and outgoing. There are bathrooms and water fountains and lots of parking. Over the sheltered picnic tables and volleyball sand and courts . The trails are long and curvy and interconnected to other trails. Impressive. Very clean looking park, kind of tucked away in Anaheim Hills. Really nice playground area with a swing for kids with disabilities so they can have fun also. Bathrooms were well maintained and there looked to be some kind of hiking trail. The only small complaint I have is the number of parking spots but other than that it's good. read more

Cute park with a walking track and an attached trail. There are also a few athletic fields (baseball and soccer). On the weekends there are sometimes games and practice held at the park and the parking may be an issue. They also have summer concert series in this park and parking is definitely a big issue then. There is a basketball court at this park and a cute playground with play sets for younger and older kids. The playground does get pretty busy on the weekends. There are two gazebos that can be reserved and people hold birthdays there. During the week there is a lot of dog poop around and many people walk their dogs off leash on the athletic fields. So beware. I hate how the city just wants to keep building and adding to the population without regard for how crowded all the amenities are around here already. read more

.Our 2nd visit to this Park. Pretty big with lots of parking available. Had a play date here w one of Harpers friend/classmate. It's a beautiful park. The mom I set up the playdate with even said, it's a very nice park. Has 2 slide area. One for a Toddler. Also has a zip lining. Came here on a Beautiful Thursday afternoon. There's the main gazebo in front of the playground with a few table and benches located right in the center. With 2 sinks & counter table. The restroom isn't far also from playground. This is a nice park for many activities. I have been here for concerts in the park, soccer games, running and a number of other things. If you are looking for a nice park with a good atmosphere, this is a great park. It is quite busy and often has folks out and about during the day, also, so safety isn't an issue. Note that I am not often here after dark so I cannot speak to that. If you're looking for a nice place to have an even or spend some time, check this cute AH park out! read more

I've only gone to Ronald Regan Park once despite it being minutes from my house. The park has a great big grassy area which is why they use this park for concerts on Thursday nights during the summer. This park has a Children's Play Area, Lighted Football/Soccer Area, Lighted outdoor basketball court, Lighted Softball Fields, Picnic Shelters, Picnic Tables, Recreation Center, Restrooms, Trail Head, and Volleyball. It's a great park. I gave it 4 stars because of the parking situation. For a 16 acre park, the parking is limited. During the concerts at the park, the overflow parking is on Weir Canyon which is a steep hill. That's fine and dandy for me because I can walk long distances but what if you have mobility problems? Parking on a steep hill would be problematic. I think the city should provide shuttle service on concert nights. That's my 2 cents. If you have a dog, this is excellent park to bring your dog. I will be back because I love concerts in the park!!! read more

I walk to this park weekly and it is always pleasant. There is ample shade along a 1/5 mile loop that encircles a playground with a variety of play structures (including zip line!), basketball court, beach volleyball court, covered picnic tables, and a large central grassy area. You can also walk into the nearby trail system where you can see beautiful prickly pear cactuses. Everything is immaculately maintained. There are also 2 softball fields, water fountains for both humans and pets, doggie bags, trash cans, bathrooms, and more than 100 parking spaces. A peaceful place for picnics with family and pets, sports practice, or just a quiet stroll. read more

Ronald Reagan Park is a nice park with a big playground. It's very shady (in the good way -- this is Anaheim Hills after all), with lots of trees and roofed picnic benches. The playground itself is great, but skews toward the older child. There are swings, horsey rides, slides and lots of things to climb. Great park!! They upgraded the playground here with more activities for older kids!! There is a spider web climber and a zip line! There's a picnic area under a shaded canopy. And ample grass area for picnics. There's a basketball court in the distance. And in the summer, they have summer concerts with cover bands. read more

Love this park and it is close to home, they have a nice play area for the kids and a trail to walk your dog or go running if you are into steep hills running. It very well maintained and a lot of people have birthday parties or fun family activities here. If you are in the area give it a try. read more

This park used to be called Toyon Park but changed to Ronald Reagan Park within the last year. It is about three blocks from my house, and it's a nice place to take my dogs. They love running around on the grass, and one of my dogs loves the sand at the volleyball court too. I like that they provide bags to pick up after your dog, which it seems most people do as I rarely see any dog mess when walking around. There is a nice large playground here for kids, as well as the volleyball court, basketball court, and baseball field. Love that this park is within walking distance from my place. Also, the views from this park are pretty nice, especially in the evening. read more

Aside from having been named for the 40th President (and the adopted father of Bonzo the Chimp) Ronald Reagan (Park, that is ;-)) it has a baseball field, a playground, a walking path, a basketball court, and a volleyball setup. There's also a picnic pavilion, with small stations outfitted with BBQs for cooking. Bottom line: This is a really nice, relaxing, park; a good place to relax right in the center of Orange County. read more

This park was always called Toyon when I was growing up around here. Now it's called Ronald Reagan Park, good improvement since I have no idea what a Toyon is lol! It's a pretty decent sized park with soccer and softball fields, basketball court, sand volleyball, playground and a path that goes all the way around. It's a short walk from my house and a great place to get some fresh air and outdoor exercise! During the summer they have Concerts in the Park on Thursday nights with cover bands and food trucks, definitely a cool feature! They have had the journey tribute DSB the last couple years, which is always a blast! read more

This park has a huge field, 2 baseball fields, 2 basket ball hoops, plenty of parking, what looks like a horse trail which we took for about a mile in the back of the park, bathrooms, but the playground is the coolest. What seems to be the most popular part of the playground is the mini "zip line", but I like it because the kid can play, then take bike or scooter and we can walk along the sidewalk loop with the dog. Regan Park! Okay, I love the concerts in the canyon. I look forward to these all year. This is actually a big park. They have boot camps, soccer, basketball. I love just walking around the path since it is flat. Back in the day, I think it was a little shady, because my parents and friend's parents would always tell us to stay away from the park, but they've cleared the shady characters away. read more

Rundown - Nice park - Busy on Sundays with soccer players - Field isn't always lit at night My boyfriend and I walk the dog to this park every week and the dog loves it. He sees the park and starts tugging on the leash for me to hurry my butt over to the park. This review is specifically about the jungle gyms. The base under the slides, swings etc. has been blown away by the wind which means that it is a steep drop off of the bottom of everything. My poor toddler fell face first off the bottom of the slide and couldn't even reach the swings! It seems as though this aspect of the park has been poorly maintained. The rest if the park is very nice. Lots of grassy areas and covered tables. But my review is based on the fact that we only go to this park for the playground. Maybe a much older kid would be fine but if you have little ones, beware! read more

Came here tonight for the summer concert series. They featured 80s music tonight. We had a blast. The band that played tonight has performed at Disneyland and will be performing at Magic Mountain this weekend. Before the event police officers were handing out programs. They had a Disney booth giving out beach balls, rice crispy treats, and fans. They had food trucks etc. The park is spacious and clean. It was so nice to see so many families attending and enjoying a special time together. Check out the upcoming weekly concerts. read more
