Nathan and partner arrived for our continued over crank error. Changed sparkplugs as they were gapped properly when the generator was installed and also changed inside regulator and adjusted outside gas regulator. This was at least the 4th tech visit for the same issue. Still sounds like it's missing when running but we will see. If issues continue we will get another unit. read more

Unfortunately after they switched owners in 2021, the quality went down. My experience was that they came out to for a regular scheduled per contract. The next day I checked the generator because the house power was never cut off and checked with the auto start on the generator. The generator was showing a red light indicating error. I cleared the error and reset the generator to auto on if there is a power outage. 10 seconds the 12 v 6 month old battery exploded in my face. Rinsed my face off to remove the sulfuric acid and called them immediately. They did and do still deny any negligence . Run by very inexperienced dangerous people. Peter read more

When maintenance contract ran out they failed to notify me and essentially said it was incumbent on me to keep track of when maintenance was performed and when contract was due for renewal A previous experience had them failing to replace a 3 year old battery which then failed during a power outage. Very poor customer service. My generator was installed on June 2nd but the propane tank hadn't been installed. The propane supplier connected the tank to the generator a week later and I've been calling the company to let then know the propane has been connected. No one returns my calls and the young lady who answers the phone is very dismissive. All I wanted was an estimated completion date so that I can insure someone will be available to wait for the technicians. My 81 year old husband has cancer and has been hospitalized frequently due to the effects of chemo therapy and dehydration. If the company cannot return a simple phone call, I consider them very unreliable and will not recommend them. read more

Long overdue Review! Having had a Ronco Installed generator, since 2013. I did not recognize the importance of social media in the support of valued vendors. Ronco has served me reliability through the installation and maintenance of my 22KW generator. (Thanks Frank)! Micheal taught many, that it's not if but when as it comes to severe weather and power outages. While many of my interactions with area vendors has been disappointing. Ronco has continually been professional, friendly and reliable. If you are in the market , these are the guys to deal with. NOT VETERAN or WOMAN friendly. Hired them since they were local to install a whole home generator. What a mistake. I wanted to know when the gas line would be hooked up to my generator and the front office refused to take my calls or email me back. I left a negative review and they then called my husband to berate him and talk negatively about me. I am a disabled Marine Veteran and the front office told my husband I must be some stay at home mommy that has never been out in the real world. I have been, trust me. To places they have never been. Thanks for my service fighting for our country I guess. They then had the gas company call me and refuse to do the job even though we had a contract. The owner then even stated they would not finish the job until I removed my reviews. I refused as it is my first amendment right of freedom of speech. Front office then said she would respond to all of my reviews first before finishing the job and she would do so very slowly. I then threatened to sue for breech of contract and both the gas company and the owner finished the job. I wouldn't ever call this company back for a single thing. The front office is clearly still stuck in that high school mentality and actually believes that since she is the one that schedules everything she thinks she is the almighty god and if you piss her off then she will refuse to help you. She needs to be fired. Maybe then this company would actually get decent reviews. read more

Excellent customer service and attention to detail. Jonny and his team are prompt i responding to emails and phone calls. The generator install went very smoothly. The installers showed up on time for the install and made sure to communicate with me what they were doing. They made sure to seal the back of the transfer switch when mounting it on the exterior wall, which is appreciated. Gas line was on the opposite side of the house so from the electrical lines, so they sent the electrical lines through the attic to the opposite side of the house to connect to the generator. After electrical, gas was connected. The folks connecting the gas lines were also very prompt. Connected the gas line, made sure nothing was leaking. Startup was about a week and a half later after the inspections were completed. They went through the controls, setting up a time to run the generator weekly. Very skilled at what they do! read more
