Our fairly new Craftsman Lawn tractor wouldn't start. We brought it to a local business that specializes in lawn tractors and snow blowers. After a couple of days, they said they couldn't fix it and dropped it off to us. So because it was under warranty there were only 2 companies that we could try, so we decided on Ronnie's. I'm so glad we did. They not only fixed it, they put the broken part in a tiny plastic bag as proof and explained what happened to cause the problem. Love Ronnie's -- they know what they're doing, pricing is really fair, the parts I've needed are always stocked, and their turn-around time is way better than other places I've used. Today, I needed help after a storm and they were here this afternoon, took care of the problem, and when I said I didn't have any cash, I got a smile and a wave, "just mail us a check for $40," and instructions for the specific tool I needed to fix it myself another time. My extended family has been using Ronnie's Small Engine for decades. For good reason-- Brian and the guys down there don't fart around-- stuff gets done, servicing (and selling) dependable equipment, they even stock parts and accessories too (a real time saver). The work is QUALITY. I'm not the only one who knows this. You walk into the shop and the floor is covered with equipment waiting pickup-- snowblowers, brush hogs, hedge trimmers, chainsaws etc. I came in last week needing a deep servicing (almost an overhaul) on a Shindaiwa saw we bought from them in 2002, which had lain unused for over 2 years, gas turning to gum in there. Just over a year ago I was shopping for a new Scag Mower, and fortunately for me I came across Brian and Ronnies Small Engine. Brian told me about various discounts I could save with, while no other dealer in the area told me of these discounts. Brian was the only other dealer that allowed me to test drive the mower at a customers house.....and he didn't pressure me to buy from him. Well, obviously I did and I now travel an hr to have all of my mowers repaired by him.....2 things. 1.) When Brian fixes something, the problem is fixed!!! 2.) His prices are fair...no gouging his customers..... listen, everyone needs to make a living right?
