First impression was a great one. Very helpful and accommodating. Scheduled an appointment within a few weeks to fix a relatively new freezer. I received their number from Frigidaire hotline and thought we were on the right track to getting freezer repaired. The day of the appointment I waited from 12-1 and no one showed. I called over and spoke to two different people who were also nice but had no record of an appointment or our previous conversation. They then told me that they are no longer accepting new customers! I totally understand but why did you not share this weeks ago when I made the appointment? Very frustrating. He told me to call Frigidaire hotline again........ Also a frustrating experience! On hold for an hour!!!!!! Ugh! Wish this had went differently and not sure that was great customer service....... Mistakes happen but you surely could have made things right! read more

John is a idiot ! I'm 73 and he came at me like he was going to hit me . Why because I was told the fridge was 30" wide it was 27 and deep you have to bend and climb in to reach anything in the back. I wanted to exchange it and was ok with paying another delivery charge and the extra for the correct size. This place has no BBB rating, I wonder why JOHN! Go elsewhere John is a jerk! Badbuy!!!. Amazing service! Our 19-year-old GE side-by-side refrigerator was having wildly fluctuating temperatures in the freezer and refrigerator units. We were expecting a huge repair bill or else having to purchase a new refrigerator -- a challenge because our 180-year-old house has extremely narrow doorways, and the cost of a new fridge would have been exorbitant. The Stasukelis repairmen arrived within 2 hours of our call. Rick and Jeremy carefully diagnosed the problem (dust-clogged compressor) and resolved it. Rick explained what had happened and what to watch out for in the future (this is an old refrigerator!) No hard sell to buy expensive replacement parts or a new refrigerator. Total cost: $139. Electrolux chose Stanislaus Appliance to service my washer which is under warantee. Their service technician is exceptionally knowledgeable. He knew exactly what was wrong, and there were a lot of different things wrong. I'm mechanical and so I had a pretty good idea, and he was right, it needed more work than it is worth. Then came the inside service guy named Doug. I have never had to deal with such an immature ass in my life. We had a serious argument over the phone over what Electrolux said was wrong versus what I told Electrolux. Doug could not grasp the fact that I did not tell Electrolux the machine was loud and banging. I kept saying I told Electrolux the bearings were making noise and needed to be replaced. Quite different. Nonetheless Doug claims he sent someone out to fix the shock and drum mount, but I never saw any one come here, so how could that have happened?! All I got is lies and immature attitude from the top guy in service. Doug must be the owner's son or he wouldn't have that job. Doug should be assigned to the store room or warehouse where he can't alienate customers. read more

I did get a call back shortly from John from Stasukelis Appliance after posting this. I was asked to clarify. Re-reading this I agree with John that it looks like I bought the fridge from them; So I promised I would correct that this interaction was for service that Whirlpool set up. Which I would also recommend staying clear of Whirlpool. This appliance was not purchased at their store. I only had a service experience that was brokered by Whirlpool. So I can't speak about the store itself. But let's be honest, your not going to have a problem at the store. So I feel my experience with Service is pretty relevant. It was purchased from Lowes originally. I would also like to add that the first fridge that was delivered was DOA and Lowes came to drop off another one, that was last year. A year later now my fridge is dead again. My experience with Stasukelis Appliance (Service): I took Tuesday and Wednesday off work this week to have them come out to look at/fix the refrigerator. Whirlpool messed up scheduling so no one showed up or called Tuesday. I then called Stasukelis Appliance Tuesday afternoon and spoke with John. They had only just received the request from Whirlpool and they could not come out because they do not service on Wednesday. Took the day off (Friday, now I missed 2 days of work this week) being promised their "best" guy would be coming by today between 2-3. I get called literally 5 minutes ago 2:55 that he's not coming because my fridge needs to be completely warm before working on it. You would think they would have mentioned this on Tuesday when I called rather than 15 minutes before they are supposed to be here. I understand they couldn't work on it in the state it was in; but they could have come by to look at it. I am not an appliance expert. What if there was something I missed that they could have spotted had they come by and look at it. At the end of the day, commend them for calling me and trying to work things out. But they missed the target on service regardless where the fridge was bought or that Whirlpool makes a crappy product. At least come out on the day you promised you would be here to look at the thing. read more

Bought a dryer here 5 years ago. It's been fine until last week when I called for a service visit. The dryer wasn't drying anything and I didn't know why. Not only did they walk me through the best trouble shooting, but they promised to come the same day I called. The repairman arrived right on time, was friendly and very knowledgeable. He was patient, kind, explained everything and got the machine up and running in less than an hour, and at a very good rate. I'll need a new washer soon: I will 100% get it from Stasukelis. read more

We had a problem with our 4 YO Bosch Dishwasher leaking profusiously during startup. Called Stasukelis who said they would be out within 2 days. Rick "the Pr**k" showed up. We said that this had happened once before and that a Mouse had chewed through the Pump Adapter a mere $16 Part. He said that the Dishwasher is shot, "You need to Replace it!". When he pulled it out he took a picture and said there is a hole in the Pump Adapter, we said "REALLY!?" He was laying on a blanket and my wife said to be careful there was a piece of broken glass near where he was laying. He told her "Go Find something to do that is Fun, I am busy here, leave me alone." It took a week for them to return with the part, and he told us both to leave him alone. Never again. These people have no sense of Customer Service or Satisfaction. They should not be in a business that deals with the Consumer. read more

This is easily the worst service experience we have ever had. This company sent a repairman to look at our dishwasher, which is under warranty and will not complete a cycle. The repairman ran diagnostics and said that he did not know why his equipment was showing problems with the dishwasher because it was fine (!). My wife told him it would not run. He said it was fine and left. It will not run more than 5 minutes then shuts down. So we called this company today and their manager simply said that their repairman did not have time to look at it more carefully and we did not buy it with them. Both the manager and the serviceman were very rude and argumentative with my wife. We will *never* use this service or purchase anything from these people. I strongly advise anyone thinking of purchasing an appliance to go elsewhere. They are awful. read more

I wish I had read the reviews before going there but my husband said it was a family business and we should support it. My experience has been awful overall. From the moment I got there, there was no warm greetings, rather a cool impersonal greeting from the manager who clearly felt annoyed that we interrupted what he was doing before. By my husband insisted. So we bought things and found out that later on we couldn't collect the reward because our day of delivery was going to be after the time we could collect the reward WHICH we were not told about it. I had to go back there and then the manager/owner didnt even bother to apologize and just said not to worry that he would take care of us after delivery. Then I had to go back there 3 times until he finally re-wrote the receipt and each time he always seemed annoyed by my present even though I was always patient and polite. Then it got worse as the manufacturer we were suppose to get the rewards said they didn't accept the hand written receipt that store gave us. Bottom line, I had gone there again, sent my husband, called several times and no one replied back. They kept saying I will call you back and never did then when I called them, the manager was always super busy and I was treated with such lack of respect. After almost 3 months dealing with them, they should be treating me really well for being so patient. I was told they couldn't drop everything to help me out, EVEN THOUGH IT HAS BEEN ALMOST 3 MONTHS OF BACK AND FORTH. Then they needed proof that the manufacturer was really denying my request for the rewards. I sent it to him, then he accused me of saying I never sent it to him, then I said I have a record of my email been sent , then he said "oh, I was having computer problems." The whole time I was been treated so poorly. Then I was promised another call which again never happened. Finally I lost my patience and told him I was going to call the BBB and it was finally when they decided to pay attention to me. I know things happen and problems arise but I was very very patient and still been treated in a terrible manner. I am disgusted and seriously disappointed. I am so mad at myself because I should have checked the reviews!!! I will never ever go back there. That was one of the worst customer service experiences in my life. It wasn't so much that it took so long, it was the lack of communication from them and the broken promises. I have phone calls and emails to proof it. I guess not all small business failures are actually the fault of big corporations. It is often the case that the customer service is not there anymore! My problem was finally resolved after the manufacturer sent me am email approving the rewards. However, the store never ever bothered to call me and let me know as they had promised (as usual). I just moved into my first new home and purchased my new washer/dryer from Stasukelis. John was friendly and knowledgeable. He made recommendations after asking some questions. He talked about the products and what I could expect. Found a great set at a great price. It doesn't end there! Delivery day came and they were right on time, did I mention FREE delivery. They set up my washer and dryer, explained the settings and made sure I had all the info I needed. I will purchase all my appliances in the future from this great local store. I purchased all new appliances from a different vendor and within a year had problems with refrigerator. Called company we purchased and they gave us a crazy rate to service. Called Stasukelis and they suggested we call Whirlpool and get a service ticket started. Over 7 months later and many visits from their service people we are now getting a brand new frig. I can not thank Stasukelis enough for their help through this process especially understanding that what Whirlpool paid them for all of their help and what they typically would have made is significantly different. read more

I called on a Saturday and made an appointment for the coming Monday to get my refrigerator checked out, it was not cooling correctly. However by Monday it was working fine so we called and cancelled. This happened again and we cancelled that day also, however we were told to go find another dealer as we cost them loss of revenue with LG? How if they never came out and still had time to book another client I don't know. We were told they usually don't allow another chance if you cancel the first time. We tried to be courteous by calling early on Monday when the appointments were set up so they could fill in the time with other clients, but when John called us back after the first rude call, is was less than pleasant or professional. LG should follow up on client reviews of their select dealers. read more

New to area and want to support local businesses. In-store service was good but bungled installation of washer/dryer resulted in me paying a plumber $125. Installers put washer drain hose down wrong pipe so had water all over the place. Installers urged me to call a plumber and I did. He laughed at the stupid installation mistake, but I still owed him $125. You'd think I'd have heard an apology from the store but not a word. I have never had better repair service for an appliance. I called for service on my refrigerator and they had a repairman diagnosing the problem within two hours of the call (he was actually early). He found the problem in less than fifteen minutes and ordered the part . The repairman was back with the part within three days time. He arrived about fifteen minutes early, installed the part and checked to make sure it worked and was gone in less than 30 minutes. Purchased 4 new Bosch appliances January 2, 2016. The appliances are good, the installation (through the contractor we hired, that uses Stasukelis) was good. The follow up with replacing a damaged fridge door was good. My gripe? Follow up on the two rebates we were promised. We were willing to submit the rebates, but John at Stasukelis said they would handle. We got the first one in an acceptable amount of time. We are still waiting for the second one, 6+ months later. I had to call and call the store for updates. Messages left for return calls were ignored. I finally said just send us the information and we'll follow up. To date I've gotten no confirmation from this second rebate company that this rebate was even processed. Maybe it was and the problem is with the rebate company, but the lack of follow up from Stasukelis on this has been poor, and dealing with them on this has been extremely frustrating. read more

If you have a problem after delivery you are stuck with the appliance. No replacing it. Very rude and impersonal. for the appliances you already own, this place is the one to go to. i have had 2 different dryers (mom's and mine) both break the drum belt. cost of one was about $10, the other was about $15. they will tell you how easy it is to change, demonstrate as much of it on the floor with their appliance, and then if you have trouble, call them, they walk you though it!! yes, all for under $20. where, i ask, can you find knowledge of the product AND help with a smile for that? This is one of the best appliance stores out there. I am a repeat customer. I recently purchased a Fisher and Paykel washer and dryer and absolutely love them. I was having a problem with my dryer over heating and when I explained to the sales rep what was wrong he told me how to fix it rather than buy a new appliance - he didn't have to sell me the new set however with that being said since mine were purchased there 19 years ago I wanted a new set anyway. They delivered it swiftly. There was an issue with the dryer - they ordered a new one and within 2 days brought another one out. The delivery guys were curtious and professional. I will always shop here for appliances - it's refreshing to be able to go to a local mom and pop store and leave out the big box stores who you have to fight with to stand behind their products.
