The last straw bale that broke this ersatz St. Sebastian's back was a vehicle that was returned with multiple knife-cuts to the side of a leather seat and a 5" scrape on the top surface of the driver's seat that removed the top layer and color. And oh, yeah, they decided to break off the electric mirror adjustment control as a thoughtful bit of lagniappe. A horde of people at Koby verified the new damage (easy peasy since the mechanics and service writers knew none of the damage was there when they were working on the vehicle BEFORE it was sent to Ricky's House of Carnauba Horror) and one sharp-eyed individual noticed the vertical slices in the new clearcoat. (The clearcoat was new because of damage to the car door during a previous Koby service appointment. But that's a story for another time.) Interestingly, Ricky used his transcontinental psychic abilities to prove that he knew the damage wasn't done by his employees. One hopes he learns to channel this invaluable trait into predicting natural and manmade disasters so that he can be of true value to mankind. Meanwhile, I would advise finding a different auto detailer unless, of course, one of your longstanding Family Traditions involves instructing Beauregard to take the fleet of Range Rovers and Buicks for their quarterly Simper and Shine under the tender ministrations of Alabama Auto Clean OR you have documentation certifying you are a bonafide Local and Well Connected Member of the Community of Mobile.

They are amazing!" They have several levels of service, but it's all listed at their website. I told the guy how highly recommended his company came and I jokingly told him he now had to live up to his name. He laughed and promised they would. They did! To be honest, I didn't even get a carpet shampoo, but it looked better than when the detailer did it in Atlanta and that was WITH a shampoo. I got the "Complete Detail" which I'll admit is pricey. I paid half of that in Atlanta, but again, the one in Atlanta wasn't nearly as good as this. I'm not rich and I have a really old car (it's a '97 Geo with over 150k miles), but I do like to get my car detailed at least once a year just to keep it looking decent. All I can say is that you are definitely getting what you paid for. I don't like to part with money at all (see my review for the dollar theater in Atlanta) and am a serious bargain hunter. Still, this was worth it! I'll definitely go back and tell everyone I'm very pleased. :)

They charged me a flat rate, which was lower than any of the other prices I've seen out there to come to my home address and detail the inside of my car and wash the outside. I never had my car detailed before and don't know anything about waxing. Matt patiently answered my questions and even showed me what the differences between waxed and un-waxed look like. He was up front about pricing as well. My car had five years worth of red clay, dirt, grime, dog hair and kids eating in the car so it understandable why it was an all day project for Matt and Brittany. However, they did it! My leather seats look perfect. My car looks and smells like the day I drove it from the dealership. Cant remember the exact wording. Im on disability. It took some time saving for this. Sweety helped out too.i added a $40 tip. My car was used by my bodfriend while i was in the hospital 3 weeks. Driving it to his construction site job.. eating in it while going to the hospital each day. Alabamas red dirt was ground into the drivers carpet and the red dust was on the dash and such. But he was told it job would cover EVERYTHING. Of course the usually cleaning and the seats shampooed and trunk done. Plus a wash for the outside. The outside, floors dash and middle console was great. The trunk was never even opened. I was called outside after they had partly done it.. asking " what was most important to me to be done" I found that a hard question to answer. It was obvious the promised job wasnt gonna go. I got that. But i thought it strange to offer such a without seeing it first. I didnt know how much longer it would take for what i was willing to SETTLE FOR to be done. They had already worked on it 2 hrs. The drivers side floors were vacuumed, dadh and console and some windows cleaned. He had a small vacuume. Dont know how strong it was but that had to take a lg part of the 2 hrs. All in all. The outside looks Great!. The floors and front seats and dash n such looks great. They earned their money no doubt. But the back seats has serious stains from hauling decorations and such frim the holidays and all. My bf will have to clean it. And the trunk. There was no trash or anything to work around. The windows needed a good going back over. And drivers mirror was no good. But you cant meet or hire anyone harder working or nicer. So. I bought a new 2019 Bullitt Mustang in 2020 that had been sitting on the lot a whole year. It had…read moregone through the dealer's "scratch washing" bay so many times that the Highland Green metallic paint was dull from micro-scratches and swirls. I got an awesome deal on the car and figured I could get the scratches mostly out on my own. I was rescued by one of Cameron and Gavin's customers who sent me to Down South Detail - WOW that was like winning the lotto! These craftsmen did a paint correction detail plus a ceramic coating that made the metallic dark green paint GLOW in bright daylight or dark! Not even a hint of scratches or swirls left. They also did the black wheels which stay clean much longer, and stay shiny! Gavin even got carried away and got in the engine bay shining up metal, painted, and plastic parts that glow now too! Now I get stopped on the street by complete strangers asking me about the paint. I tell them it's "Down South" Highland Green! So of course I left them my 3 year old Black Harley Low Rider "S" with the dark gold wheels that always get grimy from dirt and brake dust. It has a lot of miles and swirl marks plus a dozen real scratches on the tank where my knees hugged it during "oh crap" moments in the Rocky Mts. Again these new family members of mine presented me with a Harley that looked brand new - with all scratches and swirls Gone! Again, Gavin went wild and polished aluminum and stainless steel parts, and even polished and coated my gauge lenses which bead up nicely in the rain. The gold wheels stay bright and clean sooo easily now, and are a breeze to clean! I have been to numerous detail shops around the country, but Cameron and Gavin perform at higher level than I ever though possible. THANKS!

The red light appeared briefly but never came back on. For a brief moment, my car was sprayed with soap, and that was it! I tried moving my car back and forward trying to get it to work, to no avail. There was no attendant there, so I tried calling the number posted on the Internet, which was disconnected. The business next door said the number had been changed, but he didn't know it. He suggested I wait to see if the attendant returns soon in his black truck. I waited 15-20 minutes and no luck. My car was really a mess now since it had been briefly sprayed with soapy water. Since I have no way of contacting them, I will have to dispute my $10 credit card payment. Additionally, had to go home and wash my car myself. Very irritating!!!

I've used this car wash several times and always did an acceptable wash using the drive thru…read moremachine wash. Today around 4:30pm I drove through the and got a wash and when it applied the foam (which usually covers the windshield and windows so much you can't see out) instead I got a spotty amount of about 75% less foam and when I got out of the wash and checked it was a crappy wax wash job that looking like the car was only half waxed and washed and this was the premium $10 wash. I tried to contact the Carwash but the number for the website of 228-474-4003 was not in service I'll attach a picture of minimal foaming agent machine used. Normally your car is heavily covered and the foam is multi colored. I would not recommend using the machine wash here.... and I'm screwed on a refund since no way to contact them.
