Our deck is more than 40 years old and had multiple layers of coatings applied over the years, yet it continued to leak. Louis took the time to thoroughly inspect the deck, explain our options, and recommend a solution that made sense. We never felt pressured--just well informed. The crew's workmanship was outstanding. They carefully removed the existing railing, cut away old flashing and failed coatings, installed new plywood where needed, added new flashing, applied a new waterproof coating system, and then reinstalled the railing. Throughout the project they were professional, efficient, and extremely courteous. What impressed us most was their attention to detail and communication. The work was completed ahead of schedule, the job site was kept clean, and the finished deck looks beautiful. Most importantly, after our first major storm since the project was completed, we didn't have a single leak. If you're looking for a roofing or waterproofing contractor who is honest, knowledgeable, and stands behind their work, we highly recommend L&R Roofing Solutions. Louis and his team will take great care of you.

Summary: Roof underlayment and tiles replaced. Some wood panels and facia replaced due to dry rot…read moreand wear. Very satisfied. Like a lot of people, I use Yelp to find contractors. I check obviously for plenty of good reviews. I'm looking for professionalism, timeliness, pride in workmanship, and just overall customer satisfaction. L and R past the the reviews. Plenty of people seem satisfied. The next thing is, I check their website if they have one. Most businesses do now have some kind of online presence. Theirs was very smooth and easy to navigate. I requested a quote online, and in about 24 hours got a response. The owner, Luis, came out, climbed the roof, gave me a rundown of what to expect, should I use their services, and told me they would not contact me again or try to pressure me. They certainly followed through on that. They did send a quote. Their website makes it very easy to accept the quote and has finance options. Their contract is laid out very straightforward, full disclosure. Nothing hidden. In this online business world, where people expect more online transactional capability, you just expect businesses to offer that. But many don't, particularly in the contracting world. So, anyone who is attentive to making it easy to transact online is very focused on their business, in my experience. It's just another sign of professionalism and tells me that probably they will also be attentive during the actual construction process. That's just my general experience. It does not always hold true. But in this case, it did. After the HOA approval, I decided to use them for the roof replacement. Costs were in line with about what everyone else is charging. I paid the 50% down, and got a call from Victor the foreman to schedule replacement. They were very accommodating and got busy. There was a minor hiccup, but not their fault. The supplier delivered the wrong tiles. I'm sure that caused a bit of stress for Victor, because they have plenty of jobs scheduled. Anyway, the day after the day they were supposed to do the work, the new tiles were delivered. And then the following Monday, the tiles were loaded onto the roof. The next day they were laid and completed at the same day. I'm no roofing expert, but have some common sense. I climbed the roof before they laid the tiles just to check out their work. All the flashings were very nicely placed. Everything seemed to be high-quality. The underlayment was very nicely laid. And, each day they cleaned up pretty well. When the work was completed, they cleaned up better than I had the yard cleaned up. Victor very professional. If I need any maintenance on the roof, I definitely would consider L & R again. However, I suspect the roof will out last me and my wife.

I don't write a lot of reviews, but CopperWest Roofing definitely earned this one…read more Our 25 year old tile roof house was overdue for replacement of the underlayment, so I started searching for a local roofing company for quotes. I got multiple quotes, and chose to hire CopperWest Roofing. Here's why. First, CopperWest Roofing is not some big roofing company with lots of overhead, where you're just another job. They're a family-owned, local small business, and the owner, Jordon, is actually out there on the job, hustling every single day making sure everything is going smoothly. If you have a question, you just ask Jordon. He gives you his cell number and tells you to call or text him anytime if you have questions, comments, or concerns. Direct access to the owner, that kind of service is pretty rare these days. I also liked that they're not trying to impress people with a bunch of flashy trucks or a huge sales pitch that you end up paying extra money for. It's just an honest, hands-on, owner-run business that takes pride in doing quality work and treating people right. His business obviously runs on his reputation, and word of mouth recommendations, and I definitely recommend giving him a call, or send him a note through the website. The roof looks great, the crew cleaned up before they left every day, the communication was excellent, and the whole process was stress-free. If you're looking for a roofing company that works hard, cares about the work they do and their customers satisfaction, I'd definitely recommend CopperWest Roofing.

Jordon was great to deal with - friendly, trustworthy, and competent. I requested a change to the underlayment, which Jordon indicated was no problem and verbally let me know what the price difference would be but did take a little bit to get the official updated quote. Materials arrived on time and on schedule (tbh, I was worried that they weren't going to be). Work started promptly on time, and while the crew did work full days, they ran over by about a half day (luckily we weren't in any kind of rush). Workers cleaned up daily and pretty thoroughly at completion. While I do wish there was a little more communication regarding updates to the project, I would definitely use this company again.

Funny/not funny story: I was actually going to go with another roofing company for my house but the owner pretty much ghosted me after I decided to go with him. After emailing and calling with no response, I looked at the state contractor's website under his contractor number to find out his license had expired because he hadn't paid his fees! So, it worked out for the best that we went with ReVamp instead. Everyone was very professional and courteous. The job was done at the specified time frames and they were quick to come out and look at something I thought might be an issue after the job was done. When it's time to do some more roofing work for our house we'll be sure to get in contact with them again.

I received a call back in less than an hour after submitting my request for a quotation. That was very impressive. I believe I got an inspection visit the very next day. The quotation was also received within a day, and on a Saturday at that! Dai Zayas, who I presume is their office person, was very professional and courteous and replied to every one of my inquiries be it by telephone or email. I know that a courteous, professional and maybe even a happy person should be normal for front line people answering telephones or replying to email, but that unfortunately today is not the case. But Dai was all that and more! Ruben was the person who came out and inspected the project. He too was very professional and courteous. He inspected the problem area, took several pictures, which he then showed me on his tablet. It was nice to be able to see where the problem was and learn what could be done to remedy the issue. Ruben's quote offered two options; one a perfectly acceptable "fix" with a warranty, and a second larger scale option that really was more to let me know what it would cost should they discover more damage underneath the shingles as they began the repair. Essentially, the second/larger option spelled out the worst-case scenario, so I would not be surprised after-the-fact. I found this to be very considerate and again, unfortunately not a business practice you will find very often today! However, Ruben was very confident all I would need performed was the "fix" proposal. That turned out to be the case. Ruben, if you are one of the lead people at Revamp, you are setting a great example! Devin, the young man who came out to do the work was yet again, very professional and courteous (are you starting to see a theme here). He spent time prior to starting the work explaining what he planned to do, then upon completion, re-explained what he had done. He also took pictures and showed me every aspect of the work completed. I know I am harping on these types of points, but I just don't encounter enough young people doing their jobs today that act like Devin. He honestly seemed thrilled to be doing what he was doing to earn a living and it came across. I wish more young people would act this way. Nice job Devin! The price was significantly less than the two other bids. I am not the type person who always picks the cheapest price because as the old saying goes, sometimes you get what you pay for! However, between all the 5-star reviews here on Yelp, plus how responsive and courteous both Dai and Ruben were before I agreed to hire them and then Devin on the job, it was an easy choice. Another small point on the prices quoted - and I may be off base here - but as a Scottsdale resident I sometimes feel I get the "Scottsdale" quote from contractors. My home is pretty modest and old and essentially the type structure you would find anywhere in the valley. However, I think that when a Scottsdale address is associated to a bid request, for some reason contractors think they can extract a little bit more. I didn't feel that was the case with Revamp. In closing, I sense that Revamp spends time training people how to act professionally and finding the type people who are trainable. Nice work Revamp - keep it up and you will be around a long time. I wholly endorse Revamp Roofing as a company you can trust and urge you to call them for a bid should you need any roof work. You will not be disappointed.

THIS COMPANY PROUDLY ENDANGERS WOMEN BY TRESPASSING, LYING TO THE COPS, AND LAUGHING ABOUT IT…read more PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY. PLUS THEIR WORK IS LAZY. I live in a condo and my upstairs neighbor's insurance company hired Straight Arrow to fix his patio. An employee pushed my patio gate open, the one BELOW the staircase to the patio they're working on. It's literally impossible to access from the staircase and it makes no logical sense. When I questioned him, he said he thought the condo was two story. When I asked how that worked when there were two numbers, he said "I don't know." I then spoke with my upstairs neighbor who said they knew it was two story as they watched him leave and told him he can't go back on his patio, so he took a duffle bag to stay elsewhere. Yet, the dense employee continued to lie to my face because he didn't think he'd get caught. I called the owner of Straight Arrow Roofing who said "well I'm sorry he used your water" without acknowledging his employee literally forced his was into my enclosed and gated patio, trespassing on my property. He even tried telling me "it wouldn't be good for [me]" had I shot his employee on my patio out of fear. He got very quiet when I told him I work in law and that's not how that works. The cops also didn't feel the same when I told them three times that the man "needs to be trespassed for his safety and mine" lol, they understood. When I called the cops, the employee who trespassed on my patio called someone and laughed about the situation. Here's a cute picture of him laughing about violating a woman's home and lying to the cops about it. The whole video was sent to the insurance agent who hired them. When my husband and I left to run errands, the arrogant employee told him "hahaha the cops came and did nothing." He said they'll be back, they misunderstood, and the police had him formally trespassed from my home. I also sent photos of the patio to my neighbor and the tape wasn't secured tightly, the plastic is everywhere. Shoddy work from garbage people as expected. UPDATE: The curly haired kid isn't on site anymore after being trespassed. Guess who's laughing now boys. No one from this circus still called or text back to apologize, but I'm sure you apologized to Brian which is good enough for me ;) Someone likely told them to tape off the stairs after I posted the pictures of the shitty work - they didn't do that the day they were trespassed lol. Thankfully the work is done and I hope you all learned your lessons. Don't ever try this type of predatory behavior again or may you be handled appropriately by the women you happily violate - especially because it's completely legal in this state. SECOND UPDATE: The work took longer to complete as the workers didn't tape off my upstairs neighbor's patio and an Amazon worker threw a package on it. They also damaged my wall by forcefully opening my gate when trespassing and are actively laughing it off when I ask for their insurance information. I'll now be contacting the appropriate boards. Good thing I practice law and can sue you at no cost to me ;)
