A supervisor came by a few days after the install to check the work and fixed a few areas that he felt "were not to H&S standards." It's tough to find good contractors in the north woods, so I reached out to 5 or 6 different contractors to see if they could put on a new roof for me. This was in November, and it was already winter... so I didn't think the job could get done until spring. Well... I never heard back from anyone... EXCEPT NextGen contractors. In fact... he called me back within an hour!! We discussed what I needed to have done, and Tyler (the owner) told me they just finished a big job, and he could put my new roof on in 2 days!! His quote for the job was very well priced... in fact, much cheaper than I thought it would be. I agreed to the job, and I had a NEW roof 2 days later! AND... they did an amazing job!! The first big rain storm after our new roof was done, we had leaks and water running into our home…read moreby our patio door. I called multiple times and could only leave a voice mail. Don finally showed up and did a minor calk job. He told us to call back if we still had trouble. Well the next rainstorm the water leak was back. I left at least 6 messages and he never got back to us. My husband ended up going on the roof and doing some more calking. Not sure if that fixed the problem or not. I realize roofers are busy, but at least acknowledge the problem and agree to fix it at some point. What good is a warranty if no one ever calls you back for over 6 months?
