He did my roof six…read moreyears ago and at the time on the last day up my total by $4,000 and threaten to put a lien on my house if I didn't pay. I paid it but little did I know the terrible work his crew had done. I had know him from minor repairs years before and expected him to be at least here most of the time his crew was. He was barely on site. Francis the owner was cheap and cut every corner possible which is why after six years I'm writing this. My fascia boards are rotting because he didn't want to spend the little extra money to do it right. With fascia board you should put a 1x2 directly behind where the face of the metal drip line lays so the water doesn't ROT YOUR FASCIA BOARDS!!! My home is old and had this extra trim on part of it but not all. I overheard the foreman and him talking a couple of times and in my gut knew something was shady. Indeed there was. His disregard for my overpaid roof is causing me a lot of trouble now. To those of you that gave Francis and his company five stars... just wait, you'll see. This is a terrible company that I totally regret paying for his workers to stay in Ocala to do my roof. That's how much I thought of him. What a mistake.

It only took only 7 days from the start to finish; replacing almost 20 yr old roof in bad shape. The process was flawless thanks to the dedication of Kevin, project mgr, Tess, office mgr and the tremendous efforts of staff including Josoe. Last weekend at 11 PM, I was in distress when I saw the water flowing out of my ceiling fan, then found few other spots in question over my old roof. To my surprise, Tess from Roof panda, answered my call in the middle of night, answered all my concerns with patience and compassion, and assured me that I will be in good hands with roof Panda. Immediately the next day, Kevin presented the proposal that I could not pass on. I got a few other quotes from others, however, they were subpar compared to Roof Panda's offer. I am a part time real estate investor over 24 yrs of experience. I feel honored and lucky to find and work with Tess, Kevin from Roof Panda in the ocean of many mediocre, sketchy or subpar roofing companies. Your search for roofing company is over, Roof Panda will take care of you! Thanks for all the fine work done Roof Panda!

There has been a huge difference…read morein the flow of rain water coming off the roof of the house, and we no longer have a washout along the back of the house. Adding gutters was a game changer, and 1st Class Roofing was the right choice for us. 1st Class Roofing came out quickly to do a quote. With it landing right in the ballpark of what we had expected to spend, it made sense to go with a company that took the time to answer our questions and do an actual survey and quote than others who did not. When installation day came, they were more than willing to take desired location for down spouts into consideration, and even with a slight delay in getting the product, they were always in contact with us. The installation of the gutters was quick, and the team they sent were extremely professional and hard workers. If you are looking for gutter installation, make sure to contact them. You will not be disappointed.

(I was present during phones calls where leadership shopped for the lowest priced labor by the square). Before hiring this company, ask whose crews are actually performing the labor portion of the work. Having one high school buddy as a "project manager" to supervise a Home Depot labor crew doesn't make them "in-house" any more than lending them a "1st Class" t-shirt for the day does. From a sales perspective, I am going on 6 months of delays receiving my agreed-upon 1099 commissions for completed and fully funded projects. It's become a revolving cycle of "next week," "next month," "after Christmas," "after this next commercial check comes in," or "when we get back from traveling out of the country." While leadership still seems to have plenty of time for vacations, sales reps with families are over here chasing money they've already earned. Before accepting a sales position, go over every compensation agreement point by point, and ensure the commission verbiage, formula and payment timelines are all documented clearly in writing. They state not having to payout 1099 commission because I was given a company gas card while using my own vehicle to drive to roof inspections, and that I could have used one of their old iPads as justification for withholding pay). What was presented as a "percentage of GROSS revenue" was later recalculated after labor, overhead, and profit were removed from the numbers -- effectively turning it into a "percentage of NET" rather than "GROSS." Unfortunately, I'm not the only independent/ sub contractor on here with bills and a family who's had to deal with severe delays on pay. Like another contractor wrote, I tried the persistent respectful approach for 6 months hoping this could be resolved, and yet here I am with unanswered calls, texts, and voicemails.
