By the time they arrived i had damage to my roof, my lanai and the closet in my bedroom. They denied all responsibility and refused to help after many dollars were paid to them. I looked around for help and determined they had caused a leak in my solar water heater. The solar hot water heater was repaired by the appropriate company, the one that installed it for the previous owner of my home. They confirmed that Barrett caused the problem and Barrett still denied responsibility and guess what? My lanai still leaks during heavy rains today hundreds of dollars later, but at least it's rain water not hot water from the solar water heater. So no, i don't recommend them.

An area that helps the buyer in determining the purchase is the home inspection. We contracted Pacific Inspection Group to help us with the home inspection and lead paint testing. Our decision to go with this company were three fold. The first was the positive reviews on Yelp. The second was their ability to do the certified home inspection and lead paint testing. And third, the quick response and service they provided. They were able to do the home inspection within the timelines. Tom (owner) was quick to answer our many questions. He was able to schedule our inspection within our timeline and assigned Scot who did the inspection of this home. The report was done electronically. It was thorough with descriptors, pictures, and standard grading. The report summarized marginal areas that would need addressing. Pacific Inspection used a systemic approach in their assessment. Scot called me after completing the inspection and went over some of the findings. He also shared the lead paint sampling and where he took them. We received an official home inspection report that evening. The lead paint sampling was sent out to a Pro-Lab site in Texas. That test took about two weeks. We are happy with the service that Tom and Scot at Pacific Inspection Group provided. We would highly recommend them to family and friends who are in need of a home inspection. We know they would provide a honest and thorough inspection of the home.

The senior project manager, Jaymie, had to intervene, because I left voice mails of disappointment and regret. Jaymie was great with communication. But Oahu manager, Steph, is like Spencer. She's hard to get in touch with and doesn't return calls when you have a question. Installation team of Josh and Kekoa were great and quick. Josh took pics of my roof tile grout cracking and Kekoa said they can help me fix it while they were up there. This was on February 14th, Kekoa said he'll reach out to Josh to get it fixed. Jaymie reassured me with a couple of phone calls saying that she will reach out to Kekoa. Fast forward to today, March 27th, and NO ONE has reached out to me. Hence to 2 stars. It would've been higher if communication and promptness with Kekoa could've been better. I would be wary of using an "off island" company like ProVision. If I knew it would be like this, I would've used an "on island" company. I would've paid a couple thousand more to have better customer service.

Jason got started and it was evident that he was passionate about his work and kept things tidy. I was able to pay him in increments as he requested and used electronic payment which was very convenient and secure. He completed the project in a very reasonable timeframe and I was quite pleased with his work and work ethic.
