I have been taking our high energy puppy to Room for Paws for daycare for several months. The facility is clean and the employees greet my dog when he is dropped off. He is beyond excited to be there for the day and is exhausted when he gets home. Their Instagram account is great and I love to see the dogs' photos with the music which is posted daily. My dog has also stayed at Room for Paws for weeks at a time while we are on vacation and doesn't want to leave. I highly recommend Room for Paws for doggie daycare and boarding.

If you are looking for an amazing doggy daycare and boarding facility, look no further. The owners and staff are so warm and welcoming. My dog can't wait to get in the door. He always exhausted from playing with his friends!

My 13 year old Penny enjoys day care but the staff realizes she needs to have periods of rest in her suite. My youngest Stella is a bundle of energy & every day is a party at day care for her. As a matter of fact when I picked them up the other day after boarding 2 plus weeks, Stella didn't want to leave! ** LONG POST** I normally wouldn't post something like this…read moreand I am not looking to bash anyone in anyway. But, on Friday I dropped Luna off at Petsagogo in Research park. She's been here a number of times with no incidents... I dropped her off around 8:30 and picked her up around 4. By the time we got home we noticed her side was gashed and there was dried blood. I reached out to ask were they aware of this? Or had they seen this? As it was a Friday and it was late I decided to clean it up myself and Saturday morning I would call her vet. In the meantime the place called me back & explained they hadnt see this happen or that they were aware .. but apparently they saw blood AFTER we happened to leave, separated the dogs, but couldn't find the source. Well, that's because my poor girl wass the source of the blood... although they were very kind, they could not offer me an answer or anything in return. Fast forward to Saturday morning and we get into the vet. Luna ended up needing six staples and is coned for the next 10 to 14 days with limited activity. I have to spend these days walking her on a leash, she can't run, she can't play. She is on a strict bed rest to keep the staples in tact. I decided to reach back out to the place and let them know the outcome. Sadly the only thing they had to offer was that " Staples usually hold up." I asked them to run their cameras so that they can see which Dog did this to her, and in hopes that it doesn't happen to another dog. I know these are risks we take when we drop off our fur babies and I know we sign a waiver when doing so. My biggest concern wasn't that it happened, it was that it happened and no one knew. It happened & I wasn't told because they weren't aware which makes me wonder how often are these dogs left unsupervised? Needless to say I won't be sending her back. I'm glad she's okay and she's going to get all the TLC she needs! I just wish it didn't happen.

He is communicative, caring, and has a great bedside manner. It is clear he truly cares about his patients and their owners. He gave my dog his wellness checkup last year. On the other hand and unfortunately, unfortunately, there are absolutely NO good things I can say about Dr. Schoenhut. She didn't return calls on two occasions despite our reaching out multiple times and being told things like, "oh she'll call in in 30 mins;" "oh, she was supposed to return your call after lunch;"; "I'll remind her again in just a minute;" "She's currently in with another pet but she'll reach out before she leaves (which she didn't). It took three more calls the next day (with similar excuses) before she called after the practice had closed for the day. I had brought my dog in for a number of reasons because he had a lot of muscle and overall weight loss in a very short period of time, could no longer jump up onto even the couch, his face had become gaunt, and his face and body (particularly the former) had been turning gray very quickly. Based on his condition, I was pretty sure that he had cancer. I've attached two pictures. The first is what he looked like during his wellness exam with Dr. Nolan about 8-ish months before I came back. The second is what he looked like the month after the exam by Dr. Schoenhut. He wasn't quite as wasted away at the time she examined him, but it wasn't much better. After Dr. Schoenhut examined him, she ordered a number of tests. When the results came in, she started breezing through things without defining the medical terms. I had to stop her, asked her to break it all down, and what it all meant. I asked her to explain the results and just to be straight with me if it looked like it was cancer--particularly because of the way he looked. She was kind of vague, talking about how certain markers *might* indicate the presence of cancer, and then recommended other tests that could be performed--including something like bone-marrow extraction--that would have cost over (if I'm remembering correctly) about $3,000 to $3,500 if we wanted to be 100% certain. I later learned that one of the markers on my dog's original test was in the 9,000 range but normal was in the 300 range, and that plus another elevated marker, together with his physical condition as shown in the picture below were sufficient to diagnose the presence of cancer without the need for the other really expensive tests In both visits Dr. Schoenhut--unlike Dr. Nolan--made me feel like she was just rushing through the appointment to get onto the next appointment. Literally the worst vet experience I've ever had in the 21+ years I've been a dog owner. But for the fact that Dr. Nolan and the staff are so great, I'd have rated the business no higher than 2 stars. If you do choose this practice, make sure you ask for and get Dr. Nolan.

I explained that it wasn't an emergency, but I was concerned, and everywhere else suggested an ER visit that would've easily cost me thousands just for basic tests. When I called Hope Veterinary Group, the front desk gentleman was so kind and understanding. He told me he could fit Simba in the same day if I could get there soon -- which already made me feel relieved. When I arrived, the office was clean, quiet, and welcoming. He quickly signed us in, and we didn't have to wait long before the vet tech came in -- a wonderful, calming Polish lady who made Simba feel instantly comfortable. She had such a gentle, motherly energy, complimenting him the whole time and asking thoughtful questions. The veterinarian was just as amazing -- calm, sweet, and incredibly detail-oriented. She walked me through exactly what she wanted to test, along with the prices (which I appreciated so much since I don't have pet insurance). She and her two male assistants handled Simba with real care and kindness -- they were gentle, professional, and clearly loved what they do. Simba had bloodwork, a urine test, and a vaccine done, and the whole process was quick, stress-free, and handled beautifully. As an anxious pet owner, I left feeling so much more at ease. Honestly, this clinic deserves way more love and recognition. They were the only ones willing to go above and beyond when I really needed help -- without pushing unnecessary costs or delays. From now on, Hope Veterinary Group will be my go-to for Simba's care.
