We wear told that it could be 8 weeks for two of them and possibly 12 weeks on the other two. We made a down payment of over half the price. It's now been 15 weeks! Last week we were told that they have to order 60 items in order to place the order. Thinking that the more recliners they can get on a truck load, the more they save on shipping, at their customers' expense. Needless to say that we will not be buying anything more from Johnson Furniture.

The furniture here is beautiful and well made. You'll find items actually made in the US, which is…read morenice to find. We bought a dining set recently and had several issues. First, they ordered the wrong table. We didn't find out until it was delivered and realized they ordered the standard height instead of the counter height. They ordered us the correct table and left us the incorrect table so we at least had something in our dining room. However, it took about six weeks to get the correct table. Then when they delivered the new table, they didn't have any felt pads for under the chairs because they had run out on the delivery truck. It ended up being an extra run to the store for us to purchase them, even though it should have come with the table. In the end, we got the table we wanted but with plenty of hassle. Update: Due to the personal follow up by the store manager, I'm increasing the rating to 4 instead of 3. The customer service has been nice and they admit there were issues with our experience and they plan to make improvements to their process as a result. They have made an effort to make it right with us as a customer and earn our business in the future, which we appreciate.

I also bought two vintages designer lights and a couple pieces of glass labware to put cocktails in and put on the rolling cart to roll around the house (see above). I also bought a very cool looking gumball machine where you push down a little lever and a gumball comes out.** **I have put real gumballs and M&M peanuts in this thing and it has yet to spit out a gumball. It's pretty cool, though. OK, these guys have vintage cocktail glasses and shakers (do you see a problem here?) and more labware that I might buy. And a couple great vintage stands from a chemistry lab that has lots of clamps for test tubes. I'm trying to justify this one. My god!! They have two gigantic overhead light fixtures on rolling frames. If you live in one of those hoity-toity warehouses there is no excuse not to buy these. O, VINYL RECORDS YOU PEOPLE.
