Please read further!! NOT a great store They had great staff - no longer! I Loved the amount of furniture choices and display set ups. 5 star last year. 13 months later I'd leave a 1/2 star. Several thousand spent on furniture. Couch. Deck furniture and 2 Flexsteel recliners. *** After 2-3 months started to have issues with one recliner. Had to PLEAD with them to come service recliner. That was after multiple emails and them telling us to do various things to troubleshoot. Recliner has never been right. We have 2 identical ones. So, we can directly compare them!! We purchased GBS Warranty coverage. Guess what? They won't cover anything either!!! The store manager, Anita Lozano will do absolutely nothing to assist unless we are willing to pay further.. I reach out to FlexSteel for the problems that are covered for 5 year and Lifetime issues ( reclining mechanism. Seat cushion failure, springs, base ) they tell me to contact ROOMS AND REST. Worst customer care I have EVER experienced!! So much for giving my money to a smaller local business. read more

I purchased the Snore Bed. Ryan lied about the bed. He stated it would adjust when my husband snored. He stated it would vibrate when he snored. It raises up one time and stays there. The bed cost $10,000. He did not tell us the bases would be uneven. There is 2 inch difference between the 2 sides. Now he wants to sell us a $1,500 base to make up the difference. The worst purchase and waste of $10,000. I want them to take it back and refund the money. Guess what? He lied about that also. Worst experience and waste of money. He will say whatever he needs to to get a sale. He is a criminal of the worst kind. He can't be prosecuted for his lies. read more

Horrible! Rooms and Rest does not have products in stock but sales people will tell you they do. Will lead you on month after month saying it will be here next week but products never come! Customer service will call you a lier for trying to get the products you already bought. Don't go here! You've been warned. read more

Everytime I go into Rooms and Rest, I find the exact piece of furniture I want at a excellent price. We have had nothing but the very best experiences with their store and furniture. We recently got a new couch, end tables, bar stools and bed! The manager is so helpful and kind and they really do great their customers as a top priority! We will definitely go back for our next furniture purchase. read more

I was told by the sales person Kevin that they don't take back couches after they have been purchased, I had been told otherwise when I purchased the couch . I wanted to return my stuff after 4 days of receiving it and was stated on the paperwork that I would have had 10 days to do so. They lied to me and made it very clear to not do business with them. I will never go back and do all I can to make sure no one goes there in the future. read more

After spending nearly $9k in this store I am EXTREMELY disappointed when I had an issue recently with bar stools that I purchased less than a year ago that started pilling up on the seat fabric. The chairs hardly get used so when I called and spoke to the girl who handles this dept. she directed me to call the warranty company which I also purchased when buying the bar stools. They told me the fabric wasn't a covered warranty and I should call Room and Rest back. When I called back the same girl I spoke to was very rude and told me there wasn't anything she could do except send some one out to remove the pilling and thats all they could do. Obviously it's an issue with this fabric and only having them removed will cause them to come back I agreed to the appointment. In the meantime I left a message for the owner, Paul who never returned or acknowledged my message. Very disappointing and I was actually thinking of buying more furniture there. The least they could have done was to swap out the 3 bar stools for new ones or give me a credit, I the bar stools. The lack of service is very obvious so use caution when doing business with them. When the owner can't call you back that says it all. Supporting small businesses is important but apparently they don't stand behind the products they sell and they certainly need to know how to treat their customers because it starts at the top!!! read more

Very unprofessional and pushy. Employees have very little knowledge about the furniture. I needed to furnish most of my new house after moving to the area, but now refuse to go to Rooms and Rest or Interiors. After purchasing a headboard in the clearance area, I witnessed the employee (Hunter was his name I believe, younger man that works nights usually) dragging it across the floor and banging it into other furniture on his way to the loading area. I almost said forget the purchase right then! I will never purchase my furniture here again. I will travel to the mpls area for all my purchases. I made it clear I didn't want or need her help, and yet every time I turned around she was standing there watching me. Bought an twin mattress about year and half ago....pillow top...top of the line I was told. so within 2 months of getting it the side of the bed I sit on all the time ...the springs are giving away and it swags. Too my mom into look for her a twin bed too and told the sales person what was happening with my mattress and she told be that of course that would happen cause I should never had brought an mattress with springs but one that has memory foam in it because of the weight factor....so why did by salesperson that sold me the bed not tell me this when he was helping me!!!! So now I wake up every day with back pains from sleeping on an uneven bed for the last year and 4 months. At least when I went looking for an recliner last month the sales guy let me know then that the chair I was looking at would not last me long with my body built and would not be comfortable for very long either since I wanted something I could also sleep be cause of the back pain I get from the mattress they sold me read more

I am utterly disappointed by the Lockhart mattress I chose from Rooms and Rest 7 months ago (August 2014). In that short time period it has been replaced two times with the exact same mattress, and this is because by law mattresses cannot be refunded, only replaced. Here's the kicker: I'm a graduate student with no income, living off of student loan money and they asked me to invest a minimum of $225 if I wanted to upgrade to a new mattress. My only option is replace with the same defective mattress or invest $225 that I do not have for the next best mattress available. I advise everyone, but especially college students, to stay away from this business! It's a major scam. read more
