First time we ordered here the service was good and we thought we got a great deal so we decided to come back.. Second time was an absolute nightmare after receiving our $1k mattress smelling of a strong cigarette smoke. The mattress sold to me was suppose to be in a new condition but the product packaging had rips in the bag all over. I contacted the store to see if they could exchange this as a courtesy and Eddie said they would take care of it. We are currently waiting on an exchange. Stopped in to look for some pieces for my home as well as some for a rental property and I was greeted nicely by a few gentleman working. After browsing the store and kids show room, I asked how the buying process works as I've never shopped the outlet. Basically you can purchase the floor items ( some have items still in boxes brand new ) and pick up from the stock room located behind the building. This is super convenient as you can take items with you same day and for those that need. There are plenty of U-Haul and rental truck places near by. I found some items I loved and after I look around I will be back to purchase now that I know I don't have to wait on a delivery date. This was also very helpful as I'm in real estate and have tons of buyers needing furniture sooner than later. Value was really good, some things like the outdoor furniture I think homegoods may be better priced but I was impressed with the variety for the prices. read more

I walked in and purchased a twin bed, mattress, and boxspring, along with an electric lift recliner chair for my father-in-law. It was delivered on June 4. On June 14, I saw a ad on line the recliners, one get one free, we thought a second recliner would be very convenient as it's the only way he is able to get up by himself. When I called the store, they would not allow me to purchase the second recliner at half price. (It had only been 11 days since the delivery of the first recliner.) I've made several purchases over the last several years, have found great deals on furniture and have never been disappointed. First off, this is not a normal retail store so a large part of the setup is more functional and basic. Secondly, the staff will help you as much as you want them to. Some items in the front are normal priced as they are new but there are a bunch of other options towards the back of the store from returns or slightly beat up floor models. Inventory is constantly changing and nothing is listed online so checking back whenever you need something can sometimes pay off or yield nothing. read more

I placed an order online and used the financing and for some reason my order didn't go through, but yet I was charged for the first month of financing. I called them and they told me that they had to look through each and every order to find mine so that my contract could be canceled. Why? It obviously didn't go through so what's the problem? This is a special place. Most everything here has flaws. If you can deal with that particular flaw, you can save alot if cash. Maybe where you are going to place the piece places the flaw up against a wall. Maybe you can touch it up with a specialty crayon. It is hard for me to understand how some of this damage occurred. The manufacturer had to have QC, and the contracted delivery folks. My best guess is it happened when containers were dropped. We did buy here on this visit. It needs some touch up, and knobs, but she was smitten with it. I did like that there was no group of " casually sitting" salespeople waiting to pounce on us. Acceptance now are scam. Made a purchase for less than $1200. my pay off before the 90 days was over $1800 for no clear reason. Website is lame and doesn't provide clear information. I've bought a sofa and loveseat in May 2024. They started peeling using them after one month. I called in Nov the customer service and they said is normal peeling when it's not, and we work 12 hours so we use them only during weekends. We thought we were in heaven, turns out it was a nightmare. We feel completely deceived! DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE.. I wish it would let me post the video that the delivery guys took when they picked up the sofas!! When I pointed it out to them as soon as it arrived they showed me the video they took saying it wasn't them and I couldn't believe the sales man hadn't pointed it out to us! We would never have spent JUST ABOUT 1,000$ on a love seat and a couch. When I called the store to mention it to them he said he would refund 75$. When I said that wasn't enough he offered 100$. This business is better off if they call it Junk to go! We bought a $4,000 sofa and loveseat from them which were recliners as well. The first week it broke! Then we went back to the store and exchanged that with another set different style. That one broke as well and the seats started bending. We went back to the store shy and complained to the store manager and wanted to return the whole thing and get our money back but they didn't refund us. So we decided to pick a regular (no recliner, non electronic) sofa and loveseat. After one month the zipper on the seat cover broke. We called the warranty department which we paid $350 for, to fix the zipper. They send someone to take a picture and it's been more than one month that we didn't hear from them! This is a crook company which overcharges people for the junks they sell. The quality of their furnitures is below ZERO!! I WILL NEVER EVEN STEP IN THAT STORE ANYMORE!!! read more

Awful customer service and sales associate literally fighting over sales. Went in to purchase couch. Selected and told sales man was purchasing and wanted a matching love seat. He went to check computer and as soon as I stood up a crew cut looking sales woman literally ran over and put a sold sign. I asked when it was sold she said just now though she did not even have a customer with her. I said I was purchasing from another sales person and she said he should have put a tag in it. Over promised and undelivered. Purchased a couch from Stanley. We didn't want the protection, he called his manager Carmen and they promised us a $60 credit (half the cost of the protection) - took 3 weeks to get the credit and they only gave us $50. We had to call multiple times to get the credit even though Stanley said he would call us when the couch was coming in (he didn't) and call us after the couch comes in so we could get the credit (he didn't). I have never been thrown around so much for something we were promised by the seller. You can't get a hold of anyone when you call - they are either out or with a customer and they'll call you back - which they don't. I would recommend buying from the website or going elsewhere. The people working here - Danny from the back office and Stanley do not have very nice attitudes and you can never get a hold of Carmen. read more

Short and to the point: 1/7/14 Ordered furniture 2/1 first delivery: three pieces damaged, couch wrong color and no call ahead as promised. 2/7 second delivery: coffee table still damaged, never called ahead as promised. 2/12 third delivery: coffee table damaged again, correct couch never got delivered. Each time we were told they would check the merchandise before it was sent. They obviously didn't. We want to return everything but can't because they only give you 48 hours. If you are compensated you have to forfeit the warranty. Read all the reviews you can! Go somewhere else! read more

I can't find a place to leave reviews on individual furniture on their website so I wanted to leave mine here to help people. I bought the laney park sectional (light grey modular sofa) after sitting on it in the store. The sales rep was very helpful, not pressuring. Delivery was great, guys were neatly dressed, arrived on time and cleaned up completely. I really like the sofa, but my only complaint is that the fabric got nubbly within a week of just me sitting on it. I covered the chaise part with a blanket and that seems to be doing fine but that kind of defeats the purpose. It doesn't bother me enough to try to return it bc I really like the style, size and functionality. read more

After browsing through numerous show rooms, I decided to purchase my new LR set from here. I was greeted by a salesperson, who introduced himself and let me know where to find him if I needed assistance. I was able to browse the entire showroom without being bothered. Finally, when I went to find him, he was right where he said he'd be. I explained that I found some pieces that I was interested in but I wanted to wait until I had finished looking around other stores before making my final decision. He took note of what I wanted and gave me the number to reach him when I was ready to make my purchase. About a week later I returned to make the purchase. Everything went smoothly. I took one item home that day, the love seat and tables were delivered 2-3 days later and the sofa, which was on back order, arrived about 2 weeks later (still about 3 weeks earlier than anticipated). The deliveries were on time. The guys were professional, assembled everything quickly and placed it where I wanted it. Each time I received a call before they arrived and after they left. I'd say that overall my experience was very good. read more

My boyfriend and I bought a bed we had no issues with the delivery. They also have a great finance plan where you can buy furniture interest free for several years. We ended up having some issues with our bed - it was actually softer than my boyfriend preferred - he called back and they let us exchange the bed a couple months down the road with no issues. We have bought a house full of furniture from here. I am very disappointed with their service and living room furniture. Cushions on the sofa wore out extremely fast I called and placed a claim because we bought insurance they came out and looked at it. Never heard from anybody! The sofa looks like it was beat up and we just don't use our living room that way ,the chairs as well. The covers are all twisted the cushions are flat like pancakes the sofa squeaks when you sit on it. The customer service was just not there as far as the rest of the furniture in the house I'm happy with but I will never ever buy a sofa from here and I damn sure will not buy insurance. read more

I am appalled at the lack of customer service that Rooms to Go has shown me over the past several weeks. I purchased a couch from the company back in 2015. Shortly after (June 2016) purchasing the couch, I noticed that the middle of it was sinking in. I called and they sent out a technician. This person told my husband that this was "normal" and to not sit on that section of the couch. I didn't agree with this at all because the couch is meant to be sat on. I was told that what this technician said was the final verdict and that there was nothing that could be done. Fast forward to recently, I called because it had gotten worse, they sent out another technician because I purchased the extended warranty. The technician told me that "unfortunately the products are made out of country and they are not very good quality." About a week later, I received a phone call stating that the claim was denied due to "excessive force." I tried to argue that this was not the case and that if it was fixed back in June of 2016 we would not have this issue. She told me I needed to speak with the extended warranty department. I explained the entire situation to them and they said that I needed to talk to customer service again. They transferred me back and that women said the only thing she could do it to send another technician out. That technician came out on Friday and disagreed with the "excessive force claim." He stated "these people do not know what they are talking about, but I just work for them." I get another phone call today and was told that it was denied again. I explained my frustration to the woman and was pretty much told sorry there is nothing we can do. I asked for a refund on my extended warranties for every piece of furniture I purchased since then. She said she would send an email and someone would be in touch within 48 hours. We hung up and then I called the customer service line again to speak with a supervisor. I explained the entire situation to the customer service representative and asked to speak with the supervisor. I was then transferred to Ethan Scott, I explained the entire situation again. Now granted at this point I am extremely frustrated, but Ethan's response was not distasteful and rude. He proceed to blame the extended warranty department and told me I need to speak with them. I explained that they were just going to transfer me back because I had just went through this last time. He then began to talk down to me by "trying to explain how this works." I asked him to not talk down to me and said that it was horrible customer service. His response was "how is this horrible customer service if I am telling you who you need to talk to." He then tried to end the call and I fine just transfer me to the extended warranty department so they can transfer me right back to you guys. He paused and I asked for his supervisors name and he said he was the supervisor, and I said yes, but who is your supervisor. He then said again he was the supervisor, so I said well you have to report to someone. He then stated that that was not for customer's knowledge. I asked him for his last name since he refused to let me speak to his supervisor. He did give that to me and I asked to be transferred to the warranty department again. He then proceeded to pause and then hung up on me. At this point my level of frustration is through the roof. I have never witnessed such horrible customer service and such disregard for the consumer. I will mention that after Ethan Scott hung up on me, I did call the home office number to speak with a supervisor and got on the phone with Amy Perez, who was very helpful. However, I am still waiting on the warranty department to return my call. All in all this entire experience is exasperating and I do not appreciate the way Ethan Scott handled this at all! Last night we visited this store and saw a dining-room set we really liked. This set happened to be a "floor model" with about a 10% discount but was perfect after we thought about it overnight. We would have paid full price. At 10:00am today (Aug 14th) we called to reserve the item and were told the item would be put on reserved and marked. We left work early to get a truck, on the way we called to inform the store of our arrival. The person who picked up the phone let us know the item had been sold. She repeated over and over that they don't hold ANY Items in any circumstance. Obviously, there is a huge lack of training at this store. This is terrible customer service as they didn't offer to help rectify the situation at all. We were told to call around to other stores and hope they had the set. Its a shame to loose customers like this for such a small error. We are very reasonable but this was a shameful experience. Avoid this store if you value trustworthy business practices. read more

This has been the worst experience in buying a couch. The first time it was delivered, the couch was not even wrapped in any protection and scratched everywhere so we didn't even accept it. The delivery guys said they will call within 24 hours. After never receiving a call, I called them and had it rescheduled (after I had to escalate the call to a manager who could actually do it. I was told it could not be done until they receive the damaged furniture first). We got the couch finally and the wrong piece was delivered. We needed a right arm love seat and specifically told the salesman what we wanted and he ordered a left arm seat instead. And the furniture was damaged once again. We are now waiting again for them to fix the order and exchange the furniture. This entire process has taken about 2 months now. I will never shop here again. read more

I went there to ask her a question about my pay dates and to tell her that I programmed my days to pay them the 21st and she did not even let me speak, talking to me and my husband in a very bad tone and with a very bad attitude. they are terrorist,, I filed bankruptcy last year and went to room to go to build my credit back up and I paid my bill on time and we treated nice 6 mths after having my items my house was robbed so I filed a police report and showed them what happened and I always paid extra for the LWD extra insurance .and now they saying I'm still responsible for paying for they items although I was covered with insurance for damage stolen or loss but because my house wasn't a force entry they don't consider that stolen although my police report list everything in my house stolen but because they now have my credit over my head trying to force me to keep paying on something I don't have . read more

I went to this store on East Colonial dr On Orlando FL to select a bedroom set for my granddaughter. The person that helped me to select it was polite and respectful. My sister from Puerto Rico was going to pay for the furniture and the store manager sent her the link to her do the payment; but he included the taxes and the deliver which it is something that need to be paid at the store. She was unable to pay the taxes and the deliver online and I requested help from the managers and they treated me like trash. They did not know what they doing; they need training in how to treat customers. I did call Tampa and they did not helped me and also called corporate and it was worse. read more

I bought a very expensive sofa and was told the extended warranty covered any damage in the first year. Somehow a small cut occurred on the reclining part. RTG came out and then said that wasn't covered. I could have bought the same couch elsewhere for much cheaper but I wanted the warranty, which turned out to be a useless up-charge, as it ONLY covers manufacturer issues. My advice is shop elsewhere and I oh do shop there, tell them to take their useless warranty protection and shove it. read more

Our experience started out great at the store. Mike walked us around and showed us multiple sofa beds. We came back to purchase one and Mike took good care of us. We wanted to pick it up and were told "why would you do that. We delivery it and set it up and if there is any damage we take care of it." We waited a month for the sofa which was fine as we remodeled the den. When they came to deliver they brought the sofa to the door, did not even start to bring it in they said you need to sign this paper so we are not responsible for damage. If you dont sign we will take the furniture back. We did not sign so they took the sofa and left. Obviously they didnt want to deliver as it would have required a little work.
