Rooms to go sells poor quality furniture. We had gone in a few years ago and purchased two sofas and a recliner. The recliner I have to grease joints every year due to squeezing and grinding. The large sofa frame snapped about 3 months after the warranty expired. I sistered the frame and it's held but the one side sinks a little. The other one just snapped as well after my child sat down. Opening it up the frame broke the same way, bowing out. I looked at the other side and it was bowing a bit too. The center brace was installed with a piece of wood too short and is splitting as well. We have gotten maybe a quarter of the life out of them we should have gotten. read more

I went to the Rooms To Go store in Altamonte Springs to buy a Queen mattress for my son, specifically to avoid issues that sometimes come with online orders. As soon as I entered, a salesperson named Gloris Estabas greeted me and showed me the mattress section. I asked about a "Buy One, Get One Free" promo, and although it didn't show up in her system at first, she later said she was able to apply it. However, she did not walk me through the full pricing details, including taxes and fees, before proceeding to payment. When it came time to pay, I used my bank card, but she claimed the transaction didn't go through even though my bank showed the charge was completed for the total of $1,032.54. In the end, I was charged for a mattress I never received, and no order was ever finalized in their system. When I spoke with the supervisor, she told me that the order was not completed and that I would need to wait until the next day to see if the money would be returned to my bank account. However, the money was never refunded, and it now shows that the item was paid to Rooms to Go. I contacted my bank and started a dispute, but I was told it could take up to 10 days. Meanwhile, I'm out over the total $1,032.54, did not received support from Rooms To Go, and my son still doesn't have a mattress. Very disappointing experience. read more

Bought a mattress. salesman said they would remove the old mattress and set up the new mattress. Paid the delivery fee of $69.99. they refused to take the old mattress. Said there was a stain. There was no stain. It was just wood fibers from the platform. Why would they care anyway? They're just going to shred it. What a rip-off! Called the store. we recently purchased a sectional from rooms to go. It was delivered the last part of November, and in less than 30 days we had an issue with one of the recliners not working and one of the USB ports not working. The recliner is stuck in place and will not come out or go back in, a technician was sent out a few days ago only to say that parts needed to be ordered. It is ridiculous that you spend that amount of money on something that breaks within 30 days we have purchased many items from rooms to go but it looks like we may need to find another place to start shopping for furniture , the technician said that it will probably be several weeks before we hear back from rooms to go. Why send somebody out just to tell you that they can't repair it and they have to send the information back to rooms to go to make a decision. Customer service is terrible. read more

Rooms to go where you have to pay no interest for 5 years after you buy any furniture there. This location is pretty big and has tons of furniture, you can get anything from a bed set to a furniture set or a dinning room set, there prices are a big expensive but they do offer a lot of warrantee and delivery. The lady who helped me out was very nice and friendly and even though I arrived when they were almost close she was still very polite and helpful and took her time helping me out and explaining everything. Good place to buy a living room set or dining room set but not much of choice in beds , I only saw a very few available. read more

We tried everything to remove it and nothing worked. Rooms to go did nothing, they said it was normal wear and tare and would not honor our warranty. We hardly sit on the couch, its more of a show piece. Its definately a defect in the fabric. We called a fabric shop, they came and looked at it and said wow, this is bazzar, I dont even know what type of fabric this is and I doubt we can get that green out. So, the only choice we have is to throw it in the trash or just live with it and be embarrassed when we have company over. Do not buy anything from this company, they just want your money. I bought an entertainment center that was reshipped 4 times before the 3 pieces were not all broken. I bought a bed room set that needed to be reshipped twice due to scratches and broken pieces. I was sent my last reshipment with the wrong back board for my dresser. They told me it was on back order and would take up to 90 days. I called on day 30 and 60 to inpatient customer service in this store and on the hotline telling me wait till the 90 day mark. Today marks 93 days and I call to find out my order was canceled and they discontinued my set. The only option is to go pick out a whole new set for equal or lesser value. This is a 5 piece bedroom set, real convent to just get a whole new set and get rid of the one we originally liked. But don't worry they won't charge you for shipping like the first time. Today, my husband and I had the absolute and utmost pleasure of working a saleswoman named Rina. Furniture shopping is stressful, expensive and the thought of it can make you cringe but if you manage to find yourself a salesperson who truly loves what they do it will make all of the difference. Rina is exceptional. She isn't pushy, she listens and she offers humanistic opinions. You know when you walk into a store and someone tries to sell you something JUST to sell it? This company is terrible. If you pay by debit card and you decide to return it will take 21 days for them to refund bc they send you a corporate check. What kind of ancient return system is this. I went in to purchase 2 frames, they gave me the run around. Only to find out that the frames were discontinued. When I requested a refund on my debit purchase they stated it would take 21 days. In January I bought a couch and table at this store. The salesperson was fine and the delivery was annoying in that you can't decide the time however, both were ok - The problem is the table was rec'd scratched and because of the styrofoam covering it it took me a day or two to notice that it wasn't dust but a scratch. I purchased the additional warranty on both items. They came out and looked at the table - which again req'd us to leave work to meet them - they then called me and told me that they don't cover the damage and that it didn't matter that I had purchased the warranty for add'l damage. That only covered " one scratch" and any manufactures damage. They decided it was more than one scratch so they wouldn't cover anything and their delivery persons carelessness and my purchase of their warranty didn't matter. What a rip off, be very careful - I am now going to dispute through my american express and will NEVER spend my money there again. What a shame! This would not work for us and the people were extremely rude. After contacting their customer service line, the only thing they offered was to change the delivery date to the ending of April. My wife and I visited this place today 2/15/18 to look for a sofa for our house. Upon entering the store the staff was sitting in chairs in the front and socializing with each other. No one got up to greet us and finally a young man named Eric came from the back to help. We walked around the store and looked and received no help at all. I decided to buy 2 pillows and this is where it got interesting. I grabbed Eric and told him I wanted to pay. He took me to the back to a desk where the lady acted like someone was bothering her. Then the second delivery never received a heads up they were coming until they were 11 minutes away. I was at work. So no delivery. Third delivery night stand still damaged. After the second week I never received a call to reschedule delivery or a call from the regional or corporate as promised by the store. So I called to get a refund. The store told me to call the call center the call center told me to call the store. When I asked the store for the regional information he told me they can barely ever get a hold of their regional and he may not call me back. After express their dislike with their regional manager I called the corporate call center. After speaking to numerous supervisors and weeks and weeks of calling hey finally agreed to pick up and refund the nightstand. Worst costumer service experience I have ever experienced.
