I just want to give a shout out to the delivery guys who carried everything upstairs to my apartment and set everything up less than an hour. They were the most friendliest people and efficient. I chose rooms to go because the sales people were very welcoming and listen to our needs and took us straight to what we wanted to see. Very disingenuous and confusing billing practices! . However courteous and pleasant the sales staff may be, beware of the hidden costs and promises offered in relation to the final purchase product. Be wary of presented "gifts" or "store credits" in your purchase which are unexplained and can boost up the purchase price. Everything has a cost that may not (and in my case) be explained by sales or management. Having a grievance with my mattress purchase one month earlier and high inflated cost to exchange, I was told by the Naples management that it was a corporate decision to resolve. Don't waist your money on extended warranty! Buy from a reputable store! Purchased a leather Lazy Boy recliner for $1,400. Within 8 months the leather cracked in two areas and the dye wore off in other areas making this chair ready for curbside. To make matters worse the aggressive sales person convinced me to purchase the extended warranty, which Rooms To Go did not honor! She made it sound like just about anything including our grandchildren spilling nail polish on it, and they would stand behind it. This expensive leather chair is trash. Both Rooms To Go and Lazy Boy said "it was because of excessive wear". Think about it, they can say that about any deficiency in the material. It is a very poor quality product sold by a store that will NOT back what they sell, or keep their word. My wife and I are both disabled and on a fixed income. This was a real "splurge" for us. Yari gave a very effective presentation of mattresses that i thoroughly enjoyed. The mattresses were too firm and expensive for a liking of mine. I felt for her to only be a commission only saleswoman. She gave great recommendations on what do with previous mattress. That's a board meeting winning idea of any mattress company employee to walk-in with accepting trade ins or pricing in previous mattresses. I will simply state the facts and you decide if you think this is a company you would want to do business with. 18 months ago, I purchased an outdoor set consisting of 4 Adirondack chairs and a firepit table. This set was available in many pastel colors. We decided to buy the 5 pieces in all different colors. We have had no issues with them except that we noticed several months after the one yr warranty expired that one of the pieces had been put together with some components of the wrong color chair. The seat and back were the proper pastel red but the frame was tan. Nothing had faded, they were just the wrong pieces. I completely understand that it was past a year but was confident that if brought to right persons attention, it would be corrected. Well, no chance. Bought a couch and dinner table set here. Couch is decent. Enjoyable to sit on, as one should be. The dining set, on the other hand. Holy crap. Bought a table that seats 6 - 8. We don't use the leaf so we sit 6 normally. The finish on this table it pure crap. I'm not even sure they properly sealed the table. Bought the warranty, but guess what? Doesn't seem to want to cover this issue. So, plates stick, glasses, cups, silver ware, everything. My poor kids can't even do homework on this table because the paper sticks and causes the paper to rip. Napkins? Ha! If you want them permanently stuck to the table. It sticks so bad, we needed four people to pull it apart to use the leaf! Rooms to Go sent out a guy when we complained and put in our claim. He was stunned, but didn't seem to help our cause. He left and told the store "it was a chemical reaction". Wtf does that mean? Can't recall doing chemistry experiments on that table, and unless the molecules in our water contain toxic substances, I call bs. So, I get to trek my butt down to the local hardware store, spend another $xxx amount on sandpaper, stain and sealer, and do the job that should have been done prior to delivering the table. We purchased over $6,000 worth of outdoor furniture May of 2024. I suggest that you never do business with this company. Here was my experience. Unfortunately the furniture had an insert between the nylon layers and when it rained it absorbed it and retained it's moisture for days and created mold. We contacted the Naples store and were told that it was not covered under warranty and we needed to speak to the manager. I relayed the information to Heather, the manager, and she said there was nothing she could do per company policy. I then asked if she had any ideas or something she could do as a manager. Her response was, "Do you see my name on the sign". I asked, not demanded, if she could discount a cover for the four chaises and she got very nasty. They were on sale and I asked if she would give us the sale price in September, currently, and she said no. Then I asked if she had them in stock and she said yes, but only two left. I asked her to hold them for me because I was coming from Bonita Springs about 30 minutes away and she said no, again citing company policy. I contacted their customer service and spoke with Jacalyn who stated she could do nothing, but was very apologetic for the way I was treated. I explained that Heather accused me of being demanding, which was a lie. I was even willing to pay full price and she would not even hold them for me for 20 minutes. She was extremely rude to a good customer and a terrible manager. This was not demanding at all. I then sent a very detailed email to customer service on September 9th recounting my horrible experience and to my surprise I received a response. They set up a ticket number 389313 and asked me to contact Matthew at 813-683-3633. and gave the office hours Mon -Friday 11 to 6:30. I called at least 10 times leaving messages and never heard back. In conclusion, I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND doing business with Rooms to Go with their rigid policies, managers with no power who are very rude like Heather, and no follow through from customer service. read more

I purchased the Solana Patio Dining set in November 2019. During this time, the chairs have created mold every time we clean them with bleach, as recommended by RTG. The chairs (6) are completely ruined with mold no matter how many times we clean them per week. I spoke to the manager "Heather" who was very rude and felt she had the right to yell at me because I am trying to find a solution. I spoke to RTG customer service who kept repeating about bleaching them and that it is normal for mold to grow on furniture because it is Florida. The manufacturer has a one-year warranty, but the manufacturer is in China and has no representative here in the US. I purchased a queen bedroom set at a Rooms to Go in Naples, Florida. I noticed that the headboard, which is made of wood, part of it is coming apart. They said it couldn't be exchanged for a new one. Rooms To Go offers a one year service contract for manufacture defects. After reviewing my order, they confirmed that my service contract expired in May 2020; however, they do offer an extended protection plan. None was purchased for my order. It is pretty unfortunate that a buyer has to purchase an extended protection plan because of the poor quality of furniture that Rooms To Go sells. I am not going to purchase any items in the future from Rooms To Go and tell new residents not to purchase from Rooms To Go because of this. DO NOT BOTHER BUYING THE WARRANTY!! Less than a year ago, I bought a sofa. Since it was cream colored, I went ahead and bought the extended warranty. I live alone and rarely if ever use this couch. The first problem was the backs of the couch were not real cushions, they were just a little poly-filling and had absolutely no support. I had to go out and buy a mattress topper to cut it to fit just to have some support. I'll even say that was my fault for not checking this more carefully before I bought it. I then had spilled some tea on my couch and immediately cleaned it up but it left a 'shadow'. Also, the seams were starting to fray. I called Rooms to Go but neither my 1 year warranty of my extended warranty covered this. I asked what it covered (because the sales woman ABSOLUTELY said it covered any stains) and they said it basically only covered ripping (and I would bet if it ripped they would say that wasn't covered either). I will not buy from them again and I highly recomend not buying their warranty - it's useless. read more

Professional, knowledgeable and courteous, Migina listened to my furniture needs, and guided me through the showroom, taking me displays of just what I was looking for. First visit, I purchased a couch and barrel chair. Second time, a dining room set and another occasional chair. She never "pushed" a sale and was courteous and pleasant throughout. I would recommend to anyone contemplating shopping there to seek her out. The reason I did not give Rooms To Go a five-star rating is the chain's warranty policy, which is pushed on customers at point of purchase. I went to Rooms to Go last last week. I bought a bedroom set (bed, dresser, and a matching chest). It came without the matching chest. The dresser was broken and the guy who brought it said they will come back to change it. Called costumer service and I had to wait over an hour to talk to an employee. He said this set didn't come with the matching chest, which is imposible because we made sure and ask them a few times what pieces were included. The guy on Costumer Service said Rooms to go does not have a return policy and nobody told me that when I bought it. He also said he's going to talk to his manager on Monday and will call me back. Rooms to go delivered my furniture on Thursday December 16th 2021. The crew didn't clean up or fully assembled the furniture. They left all the styrofoam in our place and we had to align and install 3 drawers in the bed even though we paid for assembly. But the main issue we have is that Rooms to go dumped all the boxes and wooden crates not only from my delivery to the dumpster that belongs to construction company and inside our trash room. The condo management is after me and want me to remove it immediately so they have access to the trash room and the dumpster.   I called on December 17th and was told it will be removed right away. Today is December 27th  afternoon and all derbies are still here. I called three times already and all I get is "there is nothing we can do". It's up to delivery department but they wouldn't even give me their number so I can follow up. I went to the store where we bought it and they promised to follow up but they didn't. When I called them today they said it's up to the corporate office which I called 3 times and sent e-mail twice but no follow up.  Very frustrating experience. No follow up or any help on their site even though their guys dumped their stuff illegally in condo property.  It's been 11 days since they dumped their stuff and there is no help. Had a terrible experience with Luiz (salesman), Phil (salesman), Ramon (store manager) and Alex (delivery man) at the RTG on Tamami Trail, Naples. Luiz didn't return my call so I was shifted to Phil who promised free delivery and set up of my order on the date originally agreed on with Luiz for the hassle I'd had so far but only IF I bought the extended warranty. Finally I said yes just to get the correct delivery date BUT when the Alex/delivery guys showed up with my furniture, Alex said the order was for a door delivery NOT delivery and set up. He refused to wait one minute while I called Phil to verify it was a delivery and set up. 30 seconds after Alex left, Phil answered and confirmed it was supposed to be delivery AND set up. BUT he could/would not contact Alex to tell him to return. So stuck with unboxing myself and when we did, one of the drawers on the dresser was broken, which if Alex would have done what he was supposed to, could have dealt with at that time. So we went to the store, talked to the manager, Ramon, who was rude and hostile and said there was nothing he could do, no discount, and we would just have to reorder. Delivery guys would come back, pick up the damaged furniture and bring a new one. And if I had any problems, to call customer service and talk to them. So I did and customer service (Jennifer cut me off, Sheryl had no clue) both told me I needed to talk to the manager of the store, that customer service couldn't help. Talk about the run around!!!! After approx. 2 wks. they call & say that it's discoloration due to normal wear & tear & not covered by warranty. They delivered a faulty sofa, not the same as what we thought we were getting. I talked with my sales person, she said to contact Customer Service and they will fix it. I called and left my name in the que. I wrote an email to Customer Service, still no reply, went into the store, they said they could send a tech out to see what the issue is and they would email Customer Service with my request. I called again, stuck in the que. This has been nearly 3 weeks now. I also wish I knew about the no return, no refund policy.
