We came to this coffee shop twice during our week in Bailey's Harbor. Their drink of the week was a pistachio lavender latte and it was delicious! Popped by Roost and Banter for a quick cuppa to go before heading to a nearby farmers market. They shop itself is cute as a button and their menu has all the usual coffee house hits (mocha, latte, Americano, cortado, drip). They also have a variety of flavors if you like your latte flavored. I opted for their caramel mocha, which was good! They have both indoor and outdoor seating, the service is great, and the prices are reasonable. Get to it! read more

What an excellent surprise. I usually stop for coffee either in Sister Bay when leaving town, or in Sturgeon Bay while passing through, but yesterday we decided to make a new stop to try something we haven't yet. It was such a cute little shop with great decor and friendly staff, I love the sense of community the place seems to have. Coffee was delicious - I got the "drink of the moment" and it was like an iced banana pancake drink with delicious syrups and cold foam. They make all their syrups in home too! I love how much they celebrate the community with flyers all around for what the happenings are in DoCo. Plenty of outdoor seating if you wish to soak up the sun! read more

Wow!!! We stopped here on our way out of Door. This was the BEST breakfast bagel I have ever had. I got the egg, bacon and chipotle cream cheese. I have tried to recreate this at home, but their bagels are SO good!!! Coffee was also AMAZING!!! I highly suggest stopping here!!!! read more

Due to all they hipe, we stopped here Saturday during the Farmers Market. Ordered Banana Macha and Strawberry Matcha and one oatmeal. Disappointed for sure. The Banana Macha was great, my Strawberry had no flavor, just Macha. The oatmeal was thick as kids Elmer's paste. Very thick. Oatmeal should be cooked well, and more of a smooth consistency. Only been here for coffee and pastries. Looked like they have some adult drinks, breakfast sandwiches as well. I like their cold brew more than the drip coffee but both woke me up :) The banana bread is so moist, almond croissant is insanely good. Family inhaled the danish before I could try it. read more

The staff were so friendly and inviting. The outdoor seating was perfect so my dog could join too! This little coffee shop is a gem! Stopped in for a coffee and walked out with the best iced toffee latte! The food was fresh and amazing, not to mention the staff was friendly and smiling. They serve Barleywine Roastery here and the cold brew is definitely a lighter roast because even as a cold brew it had quite a bit of acidity. If you like lighter roasts you would likely enjoy their cold brew. I also had a cherry almond biscotti which while it had good flavor it did not have the typical crunch of a biscotti. The staff were very friendly. The interior is exactly the same as it was during the Bearded Heart days. I would potentially stop by again but not make a special trip. read more

Very friendly staff! We ordered iced matcha lattes with almond milk, vanilla and pistachio they were delicious! Also ordered the honey badger bagel, it was the best bagel I've ever had! I wish I were a local I would come here all the time! Will definitely come back when we are in town read more

I'm old, moderately grumpy and particularly particular about my coffee. At home, I drink locally roasted, organic, free trade beans with milk from an Amish farm because I like it that way, d@mn it. Felt like a peasant for having to settle for store bought coffee on my birthday but LET ME TELL YOU WHAT. I just had the most delicious fvckin latte I ever had in my life. Wow. Wow wow wow yum. Really wanted to get number two, but I'm on my way to breakfast right now at Al Johnson's and didn't know if they'd appreciate the BYOC. Will be back tomorrow. If the rude service was not enough, the to go cup of coffee had a defective lid. To make matters worse the gal filled the cup to the brim! Lousy food tops it off! We went here 3 mornings in a row for our espresso fix when staying nearby. I should preface with my review by confessing that I'm an espresso snob: filter coffee won't do, and we have a grinder and espresso machine at home that I use every morning. I was delighted with Roost and Banter! Delicious cappuccinos. Great atmosphere for working or for visiting. And all of the food that we tried was spot on -- the breakfast sandwich, the lavender lemon scone, and the Greek yogurt parfait. Very high quality ingredients, fresh, and yummy.
