The best bagel breakfast sandwich I've ever had! Would love to come back to try their beignets. Perfect spot for breakfast if you are in Egg Harbor!

Amazing every time guaranteed! Grits were so delicious creamy & smooth best ever! Hush puppies wow, moist & lobster perfection! Shrimp big and beautifully cooked! Jambalaya seasoning spot on! Always friendly & welcoming staff. Great little spot for dining indoors, outside or to go! Order on line & it's ready to go for pickup.

Thrilled to find this breakfast/lunch gem still opened after having visited a few years ago in Door County! We had a delicious brunch of breakfast burrito and breakfast jambalaya with egg, andouille, green onion and rice. My wife had the burrito and when asked if it compared well with its San Diego cousins, she said it was good! The jambalaya was more than enough to eat and had a nice heat. Took a bit of both back to our room for breakfast tomorrow. We both got the bloody Mary's (they had a kick of both alcohol and spice) which included a pony chaser of Miller Lite. I'm not sure if chaser with a "bloody" is a Wisconsin thing because I'd not had them anywhere else. To top off the meal we got 3 beignets covered with powdered sugar still warm from the fryer. Definitely recommend a visit when in Egg Harbor! Note: they had outside patios which were wheelchair accessible, but a step to the indoor area which made it inaccessible to us. Also, even though we ordered for the patio, another customer had told us they placed our drinks on the inside counter and didn't deliver them to us.

Tasty, polite, bright, and beignets! Counter service bagels and other brunch items. Keep it light with a bagel (REMEMBER you've got to toast it yourself in the toasters in the dining room.) Or go heavier with the breakfast jambalaya or little piggy sandwich. The inside dining room is small, but has lots of windows and wood. That gives it a bright country homestyle vibe. Service is polite. And the food is delicious.

    Tater Tot Scramble - Amazing!

Had a great lunch/brunch here! Weather was great, sat outside and enjoyed the food and surrounding activity on the street I ordered the Tater Tot Scramble and absolutely loved it! This is a dish that I'm going to have to add to my "go to" lunch list when I'm visiting Door County. Ordering lines were long (because it's good!), and bathroom lines were even longer. So plan accordingly.

I lucked out by being in Egg Harbor on Big Easy's last day of the season (10/26/24). I ordered ahead online and picked up. The breakfast pizza was truly quite delicious, I was surprised. It's unique offering and the sausage gravy caught my attention. It was super flavorful. Could only eat half; the leftovers did great in the fridge and heated up well. The staff were extremely energetic and friendly with everyone who came in. Definitely a great breakfast spot.

Dog friendly outdoor seating. The 2 dogs present were well behaved and only barked one time. Not wheelchair accessible to get inside. Our drinks remained on the bar inside as they are not allowed to deliver alcohol outside. Another customer, who must have heard my husbands name when he ordered, came to our table and told my husband our drinks were inside waiting! Breakfast Burrito was tasty and huge. Took half home. Beignets were okay. Large and doughy. Extremely loud with lots of passing traffic. Too busy.

My parents and I stopped by around 12 PM on a Thursday afternoon. The restaurant was fairly empty so we had a lot of space to sit down. You put your order with the cashier up front and then they bring everything to you once the food is ready. Food came out pretty quickly. Service itself was great as well. Everyone throughout the shop was very friendly. I ordered a WILDBERRY ACAI WITH LEMONADE and the flavor was good but it was a bit too sweet for me. For my main, I got a TATER TOT SCRAMBLE. The tater tot was well fried and had a great flavor. The gravy was a surprising addition but it did really bring the rest of the items of bacon, cheese and eggs together well. The scrambled eggs were nice and soft. Additionally, portion size was big it ended up being enough for me for two meals. All in all, a great brunch option in the area!

What a great walkable location with some deeeelicious southern breakfast! Super cool place with cocktails too for a nice little brunch. The staff was helpful too in picking out some food since it was our first time. Only negative is the water station needs much bigger cups.

I came here and ordered at the front. I got the utensils, condiments, napkins and water that's available in the side areas near by. The food was served to wherever I was seated. Outdoor patio seating: Nice outdoor seating area and it is dog friendly! (Brownie points for that!) Customer service: The staff were all nice and helpful. Drip coffee (regular $2.50): it is a regular coffee. Beignets ($7): One order comes with an order of 3 beignets. I had anticipated the beignets to be filled with chocolate, but it wasn't and it tasted like fried dough with powdered sugar on top. No sweetness to it. Looks can be deceiving as it sure looked tasty in pictures but I also read a review previously that there was chocolate in it so maybe that has changed recentIy. I wouldn't recommend ordering this.. Build your own breakfast sandwich, comes with your choice or side ($13): I ordered with an Asiago bagel, sausage and pepper jack cheese. The bagel sandwich is huge and was filled with 2 sausage patties and 2 eggs. It was very filling to say the least! I had tator tots with the order which came out fresh, hot and crispy. A good meal prior to a long hike or if you are uber hungry. The bagel sandwich overall was tasty as well! Would recommend a breakfast sandwich. Louisiana Skillet ($14): The skillet was big and filled with lots of andouille sausage (generous on the amount that goes in the skillet). A go to for meat lovers. The egg tasted a bit like it was made from powder..or maybe didn't taste as fresh. The overall skillet was good but would opt to try another item on the menu next time. I'll be back if I'm in the area.

This place was packed but getting through the line was easy. Staff was friendly and patient as we navigated through the menu knowing there was a line behind us. We didn't get the beignets but should have because it was a hot item for sure! Give this place a whirl, you won't regret it! The food was delicious but the 5 stars are definitely for the staff!

The big easy is a cute little place to have breakfast in Door County! The service was friendly and the restaurant had plenty of seating. I would say the coffee was meh and the breakfast sandwiches were a bit overpriced, but our food was tasty. My only suggestion was to not put so much sausage on the sandwich, 2 patties was way too much with everything else going on.

This place was immediately next to our resort, and sold me at beignets. We mozied over on a Friday, snowy morning and got excited to see a cute little New Orleans themed cafe. It wasn't too busy and the cashier kindly explained the menu for us first timers. There was plenty of seating and natural light. The selection on the menu was bigger than expected, too! I highly recommend building your own breakfast sandwich. It's hard to go wrong it was so tasty!! The egg was cooked perfectly. The tots that came with it were fried to perfection. Super crunchy. We ordered beignets since my boyfriend had never tried one. Beware, they come in an order of three and it's a lot of food! We took some home for leftovers. The French pastry was yummy and authentic. Warm with plenty of powdered sugar. Texture was awesome. We would come back again! It wasn't the cheapest of breakfasts, but we got good bang for our buck. Would love to come back and try a smoothie, too. It's a great addition to this area's ambiance and restaurant scene.

It was early so only a few other parties joined us up there so it was a very relaxing time! Our server was super nice, got our orders in quickly and we got to watching the bay. Food was so good, albeit a little pricey for what you get. My shrimp wrap was actually amazing. It lists a habanero-cherry slaw, but dont be scared (or get your hopes up) because absolutely no spice comes through. All i tasted was a very nice, sweet coleslaw. I wish there was a bit more of a kick! The whitefish looked great, i snagged a fry and it was covered in some citrus spice that was really unique and tasty. I laughed a little at the straight-up untoasted buttered bread they served it with, but maybe that's just not something im used to seeing! Good, quick experience with a nice view downtown. Friendly staff and the alcohol selection looks delicious (and extensive).

The food was…read moremostly good, the setting--we sat outside on their deck--is stunning, and the service was good. I was having lunch with my husband and a friend of ours. I ordered the Ahi Tuna Tacos, my husband ordered the Whitefish Tacos, and my friend ordered two appetizers as her meal--the guac and the ceviche. She also ordered a cocktail--I think the margarita (I remember she said she wanted salt). My husband liked his tacos quite a bit, but one odd thing is that the lunches come with either fries or watermelon. As he isn't a watermelon fan, he got the fries, which is the odd thing is having fries with tacos. But as someone who is really picky about her fries, these were very good--fresh and hot. The Ahi Tacos were also very good. For $20, I would've like maybe more than two tacos, but since I ate a lot of his fries, I wasn't starving. And I do realize food prices have not been going down... My friend's guac was fine, but her ceviche was not ceviche. The first time it came out, it was green--it looked exactly like the guac, so she sent it back, explaining that one should be able to see the fish and it shouldn't be green (and she tasted it--whatever it was, it was not ceviche). The second time, it was certainly fish, but it was more like a fish salad, but it did not have the acid in it that one expects in ceviche, as that is what "cooks" the fish. She said it tasted it fine, but just not--yeah, I've said this a bunch--ceviche. Oh, and her cocktail was fine. We will definitely go back next time we're up that way. On a sunny day, it would be gorgeous. Our day was a bit iffy, and we were lucky--we got our bill just as it began to rain, so we were able to duck under the covered bar to settle up, have a brief convo with the bartender, and went downstairs to the Chocolate Chicken to get a piece of chocolate (my husband's and friend's chocolate was fine--I'm a pain in the neck, and I wanted darker chocolate with more pecans!) and wait out the rain.

We decided to give this place a try for dinner because we could smell the smoke while on a walk earlier this morning. We do our own smoking at home, and love to try other barbecue. This is a very casual place, like most of Door County. I think it's been renovated to add the outside area in back. The bar room is Wisconsin old-style paneled walls, the oval bar fills the room! It's tight and really a one-person aisle--you have to be careful of servers bringing large trays of food in the same aisle. The indoor dining room is plain and nothing special. We sat outside on the covered patio. The bay views are nice. Service was prompt and friendly. The food is ok. I had the smoked chicken and hubs did the brisket. We both felt the proteins were too dry. Good smoked meat is moist and flavorful, this really needed the help of the sauce. The sides (coleslaw, mac & cheese, baked beans) were ok as well. I did like the sauce! We ate our dinners and didn't leave hungry, but wished for better. It was a busy holiday weekend and maybe things just got a bit off for them? With so many other great restaurants in the area, we probably won't go back unless it's necessary, I.e they are open fairly late.
