Truly a hidden treasure! It was VERY far from our resort, but we were in the area to see a local chiropractor and it just made sense to stop by. Fer was a wonderful and just so attentive. I ordered a cup of cappuccino with rum and all I can say is yummm My hubby ordered a healthy fresh fruit juice- also yummmmmm We ordered a muffin Rooster to start and we both ordered breakfast plates. I ordered Enfrijoladas Tradicionales and my hubby ordered Huevos Rancheros with over easy eggs. See pics below The ambiance is relaxing with instrumental music playing in the background and the option to sit indoors where there is air conditioning or sit outside in a shaded area- we chose indoors. The food was tasty and we would recommend and we would return if possible.

Really awesome breakfast place - upon arriving, we could not find parking. We called the restaurant up, and the worker actually came out and helped us park. This breakfast spot was still a close drive away from the tourist/hotel strips so it felt pretty safe and had a good vibe (with minimal crowd) The Huevos rancheros were our favorite, the egg yolk had a slight orange hue as well and it was very delicious. This place makes their bread in house and it was great to use the bread as a sponge to soak up the red sauce. I also enjoyed my cappuccino! The drink itself is a huge portion. Overall, really enjoyed all the food we ordered and would highly recommend getting brekkie from here if you're staying at a nearby hotel. The service was also really friendly - the two people working were pretty kind to us. Check it out for a cheaper local brunch option!

Very good! My boyfriend and I had breakfast here. Ana, our waitress, was lovely and willing to provide recommendations from the menu and for around the area. We had the veggie Benedict, waffles, and omelette. 10/10 recommend! Very friendly and fair pricing.

We were missing some traditional American breakfast and found this place on trip advisor. We were super satisfied with this place. First off, it was air-conditioned. We came here on a Wednesday during a very hot time in Cancún. Nadia, our server was very attentive and seated our family of 6 right away. She was very nice. We had some mocha fraps and taro drinks that were very delicious. Hubby said his cold coffee was quite bitter. He drinks black coffee all of the time, so he was surprised that the coffee that wasn't so dark was much bitter. The little ones had a chocolate chip trio and regular trio hotcake breakfast that came with milk. We also had the banana french toast (pan frances de platano) x3 ( kids ordered this too), which was probably one of the best I've had. It was like banana nut bread, moist, and toasty. Hubby ordered the creme brule french toast (pan frances de creme brule) and was very happy. We also added waffle montre cristo, which was also delicious. Our son also had the brownie and was happy with it, too. It came warm. I'm super happy we came here. We spent about $106 usd for all of this. 7 dishes plus the brownie and drinks. It is definitely a must try in Cancún.

We were visiting Cancun for one night before heading to Isla Hollbox, and decided to grab breakfast here on the way. The food, coffee, service, and atmosphere were absolutely perfect! The patio seating had plenty of fans, plants and shade! I'm a vegan so I was very pleasantly surprised to see vegan options on the menu! I ordered a mix of veggies, avocado, potatoes, salsa and a dirty chai latte with oat milk! Will most definitely be coming back again!

They've moved to Calle Mero!!! The service was amazing and our food was delicious! They're very friendly and the prices are good.

We had a hankering for breakfast. So, we stopped at this quiet neighborhood gem after my partner discovered it on Yelp. As one can see from the pics, this is a very small, yet quaint, place that serves up some unique Mexican food that I had never had before. After ordering our coffee drinks, we perused the name menu, which had quite the selection. There were typical things, such as cereals and fruit, but we both opted for two type of molletes. The base of this dish is a slice of focaccia bread topped with retried beans, cheese, and an egg mixture. My eggs were scrambled with bacon, and then I topped it off with hot sauce. Both dishes were served on small carving boards for that extra touch and a side of salsa. I have to say that these were pretty tasty and something different from the food that we enjoyed in Cancún. You definitely want to hit this spot up if you're ever in town!

Rooster is a very small café with an okay menu. My waiter was pretty good, he was nice and he was willing to answer any questions i had. I ordered one of the egg dishes, Florentinos, which is like spinach and some cheese on top of scrambled eggs. It comes with a side of toast. This dish is OK, the eggs are pretty well seasoned. I also got a Hawaiian smoothie... It was OK but there were still some chunks in the drink. Overall, this is pretty average and nothing too special.

We were searching for a cafe to have brunch at before heading out to Isla Mujeres for the afternoon. I'm so glad we picked this one!! There is seating inside as well as upstairs on top of the restaurant. It's hard to explain how cute the setup is, but there's even a table right outside the door, halfway up the stairs! I had a cappuccino which was lovely since I hadn't had one in forever! It was just perfect. I had the Mollettes de Huevo con Chorizo. Basically, it's like french bread with eggs, cheese, beans, and chorizo on top! It was super filling but also a good hit of protein to get me through the day. This was a dish I'd never had, and my sister, who lives in Mexico, said she's never seen one that big! It was so good! The bread was soft but held up well to the toppings, and the eggs were spot on as far as doneness was concerned. My sister got the quiche which is filled with veggies. She doesn't eat the crust, but it looked yummy as well. She really enjoyed it, and it was also a huge piece! She raved about the moche frappe she ordered too.

Serrano and custom sandwich, almost empty berry smoothie!

Came to have breakfast and did not find the restaurant. They might have a new location. We ended up going across the street to Cafe Nader.

It's pretty hidden so be sure to look for the Marina Sunrise sign ( see in my pictures). You walk upstairs and through a Starbucks pop up store/convenience store and then back down to the patio. Very small area but all tables have a gorgeous view of the water and if you get there at opening time (8am) like I did, you get to see the guys getting the rental boats ready for a fun day out on the water. This place is sooo inexpensive and really tasty! If you're looking for a break from the overpriced hotel breakfasts, this is your place. For 90 pesos ( roughly $4 USD) you get your choice of eggs, meat, OJ, coffee. That's a serious bargain. I mixed it up and got scrambled eggs with chorizo and got Grapefruit instead of OJ and opted out of coffee since it was already so hot outside. They also provide delicious tortillas. Totally worth every penny and more! Back home a basic breakfast like this would have run me close to $17, so it was nice to get a break for breakfast not costing you as much as other meals. Worth coming by and enjoying a peaceful traditional breakfast.
