Last time I had to add some furniture to…read moremy life, I was able to come here and get two matching armchairs, a three-cushion couch, and a dining room table with a leaf for $200 with delivery (up the stairs of the apartment building!) included. When they were moving the couch, they noticed it had a little bit of an odor they had not been previously aware of-- so they called and asked if we still wanted it, and when we did they delivered it with the rest, but refunded us $50 so the couch was free. Integrity! This was more than five years ago and the armchair I still have is only now reaching the end of its lifespan, and it has not been treated gently. The prices are a steal, they have quality standards, and they run a lean operation because they don't exist to make profits, they exist to raise money for child abuse prevention. (A pretty big contrast from the national thrift chain that pays exorbitant executive salaries and pretended paying people with disabilities way below minimum wage to staff their stores was 'charity'.) I honestly look forward to my next chance to buy from them. They also do donation pickup for free, if you need old furniture hauled away before a move.

Save yourself some heartache and DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. We are going on YEAR THREE of Jon Son,…read moreowner of this business ripping us off and it's still ongoing. Back story: Jon Son agreed to do flooring in our home for about $7,000 in October 2015. He did half the work and just stopped. Our home was torn apart, he agreed to 2 weeks of work that turned into 3 months, and at 8 months pregnant, his crew (who later admitted had never done flooring) moved our entire living room into the kitchen and didn't move it back. He told me I could just get a neighbor to help! I ended up moving it BY MYSELF, crying, with a huge pregnant belly. When I told him, he said, I'm stressed with other jobs and overbooked so I'm losing money on your job - sorry I can't help. THIS IS AFTER WE PAID HIM IN FULL. They damaged molding, baseboards, door jams, holes in the drywall, and we're still finding nails sticking out from places where they didn't know what they were doing. I was in tears daily and we had to live in our basement. They polyurethaned dog fur and sawdust into the floors, it's uneven, the color was wrong, and it scrapes your feet when you walk. IT'S A DISASTER. We also purchased 2 tv tables and a shelf that all arrived over a month late, wet from stain that damaged our carpets, and the shelf is tipping over. Their furniture may look nice now, but I guarantee over time it wont last. How is any of this professional from a business owner or even experienced furniture makers? Fast forward to 2017 when we won a judgement in Missoula County Courthouse for some of the cost to do the repairs. Out of the $5,000 he only paid $600 saying he has 6 kids and can't afford to pay anything else, despite agreeing to all of it in mediation only a couple months prior. We found out that his rent alone is $3,000/month and he's constantly having sales and his inventory is always changing - proving he makes a ton of money. We also found out from a private investigator that he has a huge cabinet making business on the side. He has been ripping people off in Hamilton and Missoula for decades - aside from ours, he has 2 other collections against him and they never got a dime because he's emptied his bank accounts and local agencies know him by name and call him a con man. We learned all of this first hand because we hired the SAME collections agencies to attempt any reimbursement. We also found out recently that his company didn't use tongue/groove floor boards but just slabs of wood that they screwed into the subfloor - since we have radiant floor heating, this has caused a huge plumbing issue for us and the entire flooring needs to be torn out! He said that if we removed online reviews, he would start paying us again (hardly makes sense if he's saying he can't afford to pay us back). So I removed my reviews (which is why this is new as of today), yet he STILL didn't pay a dime saying his business is failing. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS. He still refuses to answer texts. He still refuses any responsibility or to pay what is owed to us. He refuses to take any responsibility for the damage he did to our home, let alone the awful work he did. He took advantage of me while pregnant and my husband when we were new to town. GO ANYWHERE ELSE.

Will never do business with Jon Son or Wild West Furnishings again. He was contracted for nearly…read more$7000 worth of work, and he has been paid in full for six months, but the work is incomplete. Jon has been refusing to answer our phone calls or texts since he got the last payment. Additionally, his employees damaged some of our woodwork and covered the entire first floor of our house, furniture, light fixtures, etc., in sawdust. We have been forced to hire another contractor to complete the job and will be suing Jon for the cost. In our experience, Jon does not communicate with his employees and completely disappears anytime there is a problem. As a side note, there appears to be a number of reviews for Jon's business, which are not viewable unless you click a button at the bottom of the page. Had we read any of these reviews, we would have never hired him. I have never written a Yelp review before, but I am so fed up with him that I want to warn everyone to stay away from this business.

While I like the store, I do NOT like the online shopping! I ordered Christmas gifts for family and…read moresome foster kids that I am sponsoring for Christmas during the Cyber Monday sale. Kohl's split the order into 6 different boxes. The first box arrived today. In the box was a very, heavy cast-iron pot with 2 toys and a tween nail care set. The nail care set was crushed with its contents all over the bottom of the shipping box. Who packs a heavy item with fragile ones without putting the fragile ones in a separate box? I called the Kohl's customer assistance number. The phone tree is ridiculous to get to a real person. The online chat option wasn't working either. I was told, "You can go to the store IF they have one and exchange it (the roundtrip drive to the nearest store in good weather is over 3 hours and it is currently snowing heavily so it would be 6 or more hours of traveling) or we can process a replacement but if you don't wait for the rest of the order we cannot help you with any other damaged items." I was told the rest of the order could take until Christmas to arrive. These are Christmas gifts with some of the items needing to be mailed from my end, which means there won't be enough time for them to make it for Christmas. This is NOT customer service! I paid for undamaged items, and I should not have to wait for the other 5 boxes to arrive to file a complaint for the damaged item(s). Their Kohl's Capitol One credit card also will NOT warranty items like a normal credit card does, so avoid this as well. Definitely, NOT a good experience, and I shudder at what I'll find with the rest of the order, since there is another cast-iron pan and fragile toys and jewelry still in transit. I will NOT be able to get a replacement for the damaged nail set in time for it to be mailed and for it to arrive for Christmas. There will be a VERY disappointed child. I will have to miss a day of work to return the item to the Missoula store (if they have one in stock, which may not be the case, the representative said there was only one left at that store according to the computer but that is "often wrong"), pay for a tank of gas, add wear and tear to my car, and risk my life on the treacherous roads, or NOT have a present for the child in time for Christmas. For shame KOHL'S!!!! Do better!!!!!!!!!!
