I live in a condo on the bottom floor. Previously we have had two sewage floods come out of our kitchen sink. So needless to say when our toilet wasn't working and wasn't responding to attempts to get the water to go down we wanted to make sure we would not relive this nightmare again since both times we were held responsible for the bad plumbing in my building. We were told that the builder New Orleans had a fire and all the plumbing plans were destroyed. No lie. So I called the HOA emergency number to send out a plumber from Root 24. The plumber was rude and intimidating and treated me and my 85 year old mother as if we were idiots. Clearly a misogynist. I would never let them back in my house again. In August 2023, I had Root 24 install new faucet. it was not installed properly and, a few months later they sent a plumber out to fix it. My sink faucet fell off again and route 24 is refusing to fix it. It has been 8 months and I am being told it has been too long. I spent a lot of money for a plumber to complete the job thinking it would be done correctly and it was not . If the faucet was installed properly it should've held up for several months.. extremely disappointed that they don't stand by their work read more

The true measure of a company is not how they treat you when everything goes well but what happens when they don't. In the case of Root24 when it goes bad they just ignore you and do the bare minimum. I hired Root24 to replace sewer line. They came and replaced my sewer line but unfortunately I woke up to water gushing into my basement the next morning. While Root24 was installing new sewer line they did not take the precaution of tamping down the dirt when filling in the trench thus knocking my water line ajar. Long story short Root24 did fix my water line but that is it. Never once did I receive a call from the owner or anyone in the company but I did keep receiving their invoice from remainder of payment. It took me over 3 1/2 months to put my basement back together. Again, everyone is great when things go right but Root24 showed their true colors when they are negligent. read more

I usually get a water bill for $50 a month. This month, I got a bill for $220. Placed a call on Thursday at 4 PM and Tim Austin was out the next morning. He called to say he was coming, call when he was close to my house, and then did an inspection to find the water leak. He found it under the house, took out corroded pipe and fixed it by 2 PM the same day. He worse a PPE mask, as did I, and kept my safety in mind while repairing my burst pipe! That love to just cut holes in ceilings and walls. The master plumber was sent out and had no clue of his job. Had me stressed for days thinking I was going to have to spend a few thousand on a new wet bed. Had Action 24plumbing come out (GREAT COMPANY) and do the job correctly and found out no plumbing was leaking. Just needed my gutter patched. Terrible experience, I had frozen pipes and when I called in they asked what kind of pipes I had (CPVC), they then sent people out to tell me that what they have doesn't work for that kind of pipes, but it still cost $99 for them to come out. Plumber advised me to call the office and said they would possibly refund some of the payment, office was extremely rude and refused to even discuss or acknowledge what they had done. read more
